I have no idea what you are discussing but it wasnt uncommon to marry 12-13 year old children in the US or back in 1700 - 1800. Or for that matter in other christian countries.
It's not child molestation if it happend hundreds of years ago under another kind of law, another kind of society with different values and also where people only lived until like 30-50 years of age.
Of course, today we have another view on things, probably mainly because we live longer and feel that there should be a "protected" age when growing up, if people only lived until about 50 it would surely be viewed differently today as well.

Muhammad married Aisha for political reasons; She was the daughter of Abu Bakr (He was the first male to embrace Islam) and the union took place upon request of Abu Bakr. Muhammad agreed as it strengthened their alliance. Moreover, we know from the historical manuscripts that the marriage was not consumed till several years after. And, by the way, he wasn't 56 when he married her as Galadriel claims(not that it changes anything).
As ah6 pointed out, it was not uncommon for Americans to marry 12-13 years old some centuries ago. Hell, Jerry Lewis married his cousin at age 12, and that was only few decades back. Nowadays, it is perfectly legal in Iran, Ivory coast, Nigeria or Afghanistan to marry at age 9.

Aisha’s Age at Marriage
With the exception of one source, all sources suggest that Aisha was between 19 and 22 years old when she was married to the Prophet. Aisha was 19 at the time of her marriage: According to Ibne Kathir – author of Quran’s most respected exegesis, Aisha's sister Asma was born in 595 CE, was 10 days older than Aisha and was 27 years old at the time of Emigration. Aisha was born in 605 CE and would then be 17 years old at the time of the Emigration and at the time of her marriage was at least 19 since her marriage to the Prophet happened in 2nd Hijra after the War of Badar. (References: Taqri'bu'l-tehzi'b as well as Al-bidayah wa'l-nihayah)
2. Aisha was 18. Author of famous Hadith collection “Mishkat ul Masabeeh” wites in “ahmadl fil Asma ul-Rijjal”: “At the time of the consummation of her marriage Syedah Aisha’s age was no less than 18 to 19 years.” Additionally, according to Ibn Hisham Aisha converted to Islam before Umar around 610 CE. She must be at least six or seven to be able to accept Islam voluntarily. That would put her age between 18 and 19 at the time of her marriage at 622 CE
3. Aisha was 20 or 21 at the time of her marriage. Aisha’s brother Abdur Rahman was 22 years old at the time of Badar and since she was born right after him, that would also support this theory that she was 20 or 21 at that time. According to Tabari Abu Bakar wanted to expedite Aisha’s marriage to Muta’am in 615 CE before his emigration to Ethiopia but his father Mut’im refused because of Abubakar’s conversion to Islam. Aisha would at least be 10 at this time. And will therefore be 21 on her wedding in 622 CE. Aisha reported that she was a young girl at the time of revelation of Sura Qamar. Qamar was revealed 9 years before Emigration. If Aisha was 9 at this time, she will 20 at the time of her wedding in 2AH
4. Aisha was 17 at the time of her marriage: Historical accounts suggest that she died in 58 Hijri at the age 0f 74. This indicates that she was born three years before start of his Mission and was therefore 17 at the time of her marriage

In 19th century, age of consent for marriage was only 7 years old in State of Delaware in the United States Please note that Age of Consent in Mexico and the Philippines is still 12 years
