canadianice (2008-11-20)

further to the above, windows media player wont play flac?

 zeppfan1968 (2008-11-21)

Try Winamp It Works Fine

fugazi42 (2008-11-21)

Perhaps you can't convert them to MP3 because they are in glorious 24 bit quality and not standard 16 bit?

fugazi42 (2008-11-21)

It makes me cringe thinking about converting these 24 bit lossless tracks to 16 bit lossy. Ugh!

tubescreemer (2009-01-15)

It would had more sence if you would have just ripped them off with EAC/FLAC, and keep't them in "16-bit" RED-bok format.. All hi end amp's will understand them as HDCD and do the decoding. Now my fwonkyserver goes bananas and wont even send them... and converting them to mp3 as someone wanted to do... what a shame.. go and download the mp3 version... dont waste your time with this fine stuff

Foobar is good for 24 bit, so is winamp. The New Windows Media Player supports HDCD playback. Its the only software that supports HDCD as of now. You would however need a 24 bit sound card and need to configure the Media Player for HDCD playback. HDCD are recorded in 20 Bit. When you play them in normal CD player they only read 16 bits. I hope that this helps.

@zeppfan1968
this is a great torrent... and I'm happy about the 24bits unlike those eejits who can't figure out what that means.
But there're no more seeds! :( someone pleeze seed?!
For those who want 16bitMP3, that's availble all over the fukn place.

CaptHawk (2012-05-06)

cool, it's downloading...... keepin' me fingers crossed

davygrvy (2013-01-27)

[tubescreemer] what on earth do you mean by kept them in 16b redbook? This came from an SACD, which is not redbook!
