many of you are having problems with vst's asking for serials everytime you open live, i have a solution which works, this however is for anyone using vista. my version of vista is home premium 32bit not shure if it will work for other versions,
1. if not already create a desktop shortcut to live
2. right click the shortcut, properties and click compatibility tab
3. under compatibility mode check the box and select windows xp sp2
4. at the bottom check the box under privilage mode which says "run this program as an adminmistrator",
after these steps restart your pc and open live, enter your serials ect. and you should never have to do it agen, i find it better to have live on vista and you can still have the fancy stuff of vista and still use ableton. if you are having trouble with any other software which works fine on xp but not on vista, follow the steps above again, thanks
