The January version upgraded perfect so this one should work fine. What you should do for upgrade is that if you have XP you just insert the CD while logged in to your account. Then you select upgrade when they give you the install options. BIE activates perfectly

You can upgrade from anything (except Windows 7). When given the option to enter product key leave it blank...and untick the option to activate when online. You can't have a password on your account so that the crack can enter its own and activate it for you. It works great and is def worth the download. I've used two previous BIE releases and I'm using one of them to write this.

Updates work. But I don't go the website, I just use the regular Windows Update program, which is really improved in Vista. Also don't make them automatically install, it's best if you can choose which ones to install, so that any crack canceling ones can be seen or something like that.

It's automatic, just leave the product key and activation question blank. The activation works no problems....but after a couple of days of using the January version I get error 80070002 in Windows Update. I haven't been able to install any updates. Don't want to reinstall Vista, so I can do is stay without my updates...installing the important ones manually.

This uses the SoftMod Vista Activation Crack, which Vista reports as an error of SL08-009. I have alreayd recieved two "notices" that this exploit is on the machine, and Vista "urges" me to repair the OS.
Now I read that Microsoft is getting ready to fix this exploit with an upcoming patch.

You trust McAfee? Think about it, they will report anything that is known to be illegal as a virus to stop you from using pirated copies.
McAfee told me that uTorrent was a virus, yet I got it from the uTorrent site and scanned it with 3 other AV's with no warnings. Rethink your software dude.
