Are there English subtitles included?

loosenoose (2012-06-11)

I wish uploaders would put the format in their notes, it's so important these days. Is this AVI or not?!

azureray (2012-06-14)

@loosenose
It's an MKV file. If you're ever in doubt though, just click the number listed next to "Files." It will tell you everything included in the file. Not very useful when there's a bunch of .rar archives though :/

Very disappointing quality for such size. My old version ( Alien DC (1979) 720p DTheater x264 REPACK ~hV ) - only 2GB! is better then this one. Now I understand why there is so many (-) for Quality. Rest of those who voted (+) just didn't saw this movie in proper quality.
& what is the worst in this qualityy? Lack of sharpness, clarity is missing. Picture is fuzzy , little too wide (that's why sharpness is fuc... up) and you have the feeling that everything is behind sort of delicate fog & finally the picture is too dark. That's how it looks.
cheers

By far one of the best SCI-FI horror films EVER. There isn't really anything like it.
FYI: PROMETHEUS is a prequel to this. . . . taking place about 60-70 years prior to THIS film in the "ALIEN Universe" time line. It is hard to believe that now in 2012-13 a prequel to a movie made in 1979 has been made, but none the less, it has. That is 33 year gap from the making of the original ALIEN to the Prequel; PROMETHEUS. One last comment being a huge fan of this franchise, The moon that the crew of the Nostromo lands on is NOT the same moon that the Science Ship Prometheus landed on. They do orbit the same planet. A second Prequel rumored to be titled: PARADISE, is being made as we speak, due to release at the end of 2014 or early in 2015. If you saw Prometheus, then it is obvious why it is titled PARADISE. I don't know for certain that this is the final title, but this is the suggested title from IMDB.
NOTE:
Alien vs Predator, and Alien Vs Predator Requiem are NOT part of this linage! These films contradict the history of the ALIEN Universe suggesting that things salvaged from the wrecked Predator ship is what led the Wayland Corp to learn of the existence of these such "ALIEN creatures, and then in the future pursue to learn more about them. In fact, it is the findings of the PROMETHEUS's Crew which put into motion the things that happen in this film ALIEN. When you see this film, it is no accident that they were brought out of "cryogenic sleep" in the range of this supposed SOS signal. The crew of the NOSTROMO are pawns in a much larger mystery. Ridley scott was not "on board", nor in agreement of the making of ANY of the later Alien films being -ALIENS, ALIEN III, ALIEN Resurrection. These at least conform more or less to the plot of the first ALIEN film and the 2 prequels, one of which as I mentioned is already out: PROMETHEUS. It was James Cameron That made the 2nd Alien film, ALIENS. it wasn't made until 1986.
The A vs P films are not accurate in any way to the ALIEN films and are really and out cropping of the Predator films. in the second Predator film with Danny Glover, he finds an Alien skull and a T-REX skull and other skulls of various creatures on the Predator mother ship. It was this that brought the ALIEN vs Predator concept into being. (They fall under the Predator film franchise)
Ridley Scott, immediately after this film came out in 1979, wanted to do a sequel to explore where that strange "horse shoe" shaped ship came from and who and/or what was the pilot. Lastly to explain where they, (those eggs) came from and why would ANYONE in there right mind, (no matter what species it is) carry its entire cargo hold filled with those damn things???
TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX would not green light the making at that time with STAR WARS being such a HUGE hit and it had only been released a year or so before. Scott in fact commented in an interview how he was disgusted with FOX as George Lucas had a seemingly unending budget with computer controlled camera tracking around stationary models, truly ahead of it's time, while Scott he had to lay on his back on a skateboard like furniture dolly as he was slowly pulled with a rope by the model of the NOSTROMO to get the shots of the NOSTROMO slowly going by a fixed point in space to show the truly huge size of this ship and its tow. The Nostromo it self was big, but it was towing an even larger self contained mining derelict that looked to be hundreds of times larger. Like a tugboat is to the largest oil tankers or a REAGAN class sized US Air Craft Carrier. It's even bigger then the previous NIMITZ class carriers. (Now it's the largest made. Largest anywhere on the planet. . . its a bit ridiculous).
Anyway. . .
Rumors of a New Ridley Scott made BLADE RUNNER sequel is also being talked about. Nothing for sure.
Cheers! great upload all the way around!!!
V10/A10, Obviously I LOVED the movie. . . I saw it in the theaters in 1979. I was 13 years old. It was R-Rated so my friends older brother got us in. It scared the ever living shit out of me.
It made HALLOWEEN and Friday th

Quality is great and there is not another 720p version that looks better. Screenshots: http://imgbox.com/g/mqfhzaIqLu
