3.5hrs squeezed into 800MB is rape. 90min MAX, and the quality will usually suffer. Those stats are the most horrible I've EVER seen for a movie. WHY you would do it is beyond me. You'll honestly get better visuals from a gameboy colour.

i know wht people are saying with normal xvid it would have been very bad quality

Looking for a small file that i could download in time before Bilbo is released, this one is great.
Video quality is far from being HD, but quite decent given the filesize, much like fast releases for TV shows..
Audio is not that great however, particularly with low and high pitch, but still OK i guess.

i was relieved to find a torrent that was just one video file instead of a disc 1, disc 2 rip and at such a small size too, unfortunately, there are black borders on the video file itself but i can easily remove those.
My major problem is the syncing of the sound and video, for exactly the first half of the movie the audio is fine but then it becomes like 1/2 second sound delayed (most noticable during dialogue). My theory is that this error occurred when the uploader combined the two video files in a movie editor and i can imagine it's the same for the other movies of the trilogy they uploaded as well.
Besides that though, the video and audio is incredible and im going to keep these videos for my collection anyway. My internet is shit so it's not worth downloading one of those huge HD torrents just to combine and compress it down.

Like others I was glad to find the video by itself and a small size but it's not playing right for me either. The sound is not matching up to the video. It's not so bad playing on the computer but when I play it from my ext-hdd on my tv it's pretty laggy. I still appreciate the time the uploader took to share this
