This works :) It takes a while to extract/update/verify, maybe around 8 minutes.
I upgraded by connecting my iPod Touch, then holding the option key whilst clicking on the 'update' button in iTunes.

...although it should be noted that this wiped all the music. Not really a problem for me, as I have it backed up, but it's something you should be aware of.

Thanks for the download, worked perfect, just updated on a 1.1.4 Ziphone jailbroken iTouch! too bad the new jailbreaker is only for MAC atm :(
