I've used it successfuly on XP guys, haven't tried it on Vista sorry.

Scanned with 6 different Virus and Malware scanners, came up 100% clean.
The installer hangs at 99% on Windows XP SP3, then you have to manually shut it down.
I would really like to test this software, if anybody can figure out how to get it to work.
Perhaps it is something to do with SP3?

I discovered the problem, somehow the os.dat file is slightly corrupted, simply open it in a text editor and remove all the lines below
"Windows NT 4.0 (MIPS)=0x0000000000040000" , there should be nothing but blank lines below that entry.
I would think that the original uploader may have hard drive problems.

This worked fine with my Vista 32-bit computer, so it may have problems with the 64. Oh, and when I opened up the os.dat file and there was nothing under what Hurricane2009 said, so it may be something different with his download. But so far everything is working fine.

hello I have vista also and it works ok but will not export it to the screen writer... any suggestions? I also could not register it with the code included so that may be the problem.

There is some kind of installation problem which means the installer doesn't run properly on Vista and Win7.
You need to go here and download the fix.

If you do that the installer will run as normal.
However, the key is flagged as "illegal".
Still looking for a good key or another installation.

Ok got it to work.
Here is what I did. Downloaded it, then when it prompted me to register I told it I'd do the download a form and mail it to them process. Filled the digital form out with a bunch of random answers and then saved it using the printer document writer. When I did this it finished installing correctly instead of bugging at the end.
Next I downloaded this

If Dramatica installed correctly then this also should install correctly. It will give you access to the missing templates here. Just install it, run it and click "copy template and example files"
Everything is running perfect now. For reference I am using Windows 7 64bit.

Works in Windows 7. Few problems when installing. Do what Hurricane2009 said to get the setup running. And it forces you to register, but all you have to do is choose register by mail and fill out the form with mumbo jumbo. Don't forget to check the Run As Administrator box under properties for the program.

Torrent works perfectly.
I also have win xp sp3 and experienced similar problems as Hurricane2009 above; the installer hangs at 99%, computer slows down and I had to reboot.
I did what he told me which was to edit os.dat file in notepad and delete everything (there was only 1 extra line) below "Windows NT 4.0 (MIPS)=0x0000000000040000" and ran the installer again and it worked perfectly.
Then I tried to follow Milete's advice but the file I downloaded from the link
asked for the serial number again which wont work as the serial number included in the torrent is flagged illegal.
I think you dont need the download from above link is Dramatica Pro Story Wizard and I think you dont need it.

I have Win XP SP 2 and the installer hung at 99%, so i opened os.dat in notepad, and i thought: "ah what the hell", and removed everything below OS Independent=0x0000000000000
And voila, worked like a charm. Program works just fine now, no worries.

I forgot to mention that the reason i removed everything below OS Independent in the os.dat file was that i had no extra line below Windows NT 4.0 (MIPS), but still had the "installer hangs at 99%" problem.

***If you guys want to install this, its very easy!! Im using Windows 7, 64..Just click on the link that MARTIANKA posted. Follow the instructions that come up in the link, along with following Marianka's instructions. I started with Martianka,s upload first and after i started the setup, i didnt install at that point, i started following the direction from her link from that point. Once you start it youll understand it, its easy! Even for a noob like me! lol

I am using Windows 7 32 - Bit. I installed perfectly without doing any text editing. Entered Serial as given, then registered via "print to mail" Saved the document to Microsoft XPS Document Writer and all is well and working fine!!!!!!

As I post this, I can see here that this torrent is now almost 6 years old, so it's probably worth mentioning at this point in time that you can simply go over to the Dramatica (dot com) web site, and actually download the new bug-fixed (Version 4.1) Dramatica Pro right from them, as a free trial.
If you like it, buy it.
