Description:
Four more rare records to enhance your collection of lost 80s music. In my opinion, 80's music especially from 1979 to 1974 was like an explosion, an explosion of talented and innovatives bands, most of which remained obscure, were dropped or got overlooked. I will continue with this series as long as there's interest out there as there are still many records that can fit in to this series. Records from the bands that deserve recognition though 3 decades late!
By the way a big thank you to my buddy retroaddict for ripping Secret Steps LP!
so let's see what have we got here.....
3-D - 3-D [1980]
Secret Steps - Confidential [1985]
The Individuals - Fields [1982]
The Riptides - Riptides [1983]

80zforever, I have to agree with you in fact It has always amazed me how many bands from that time that were great and never made it. Just re dicovered Dectetive and Silverhead and ask my self why? Keep up the great work and if you want to expand into the 70's you have my vote Cheers and happy Canada Day!!80zforever (2010-07-02)
The8Ts, these are two different bands. The 3-D you mentioned had a few singles. The band fronted by Jon Corner (Vocals, Bass & Sax)John Reynolds (Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals)
Steve Spurgin (Keyboards & Backing Vocals). They were from the UK and released only the songs you stated. Their songs were produced by Hayes and Nocito who later formed Johnny Hates Jazz with Clark Datchler.
