unless you have a PS3 or a high end DVD player with DIVX support, HD content is sortof a moot point anyway. Even 720 gets choppy on lower end DVD players, in my experience, and most PCs don't have the processing power to play back HD content.
"Hit and runners" probably download the content and find out they can't play it anyway.

If you run windows and have a recent graphics card the GPU actually takes care of the HD decoding work for you... Thus making it possible on modern boxes

not all of us are made out of money. A year old notebook? is that supposed to be old? my notebook is 4 years old and my 3 year old "media PC" can just barely keep up with 720p, and gets choppy and looses sync with anything higher.
I use this site because I can't _afford_ to buy this stuff, hell, I don't even own a TV.
