I've downloaded this file with great speed but Norton 360 detected a worm/virus called W32.Chir.B@mm that can hack your email address book and change extensions-do not download.

On seeing pingping8987's comment I scanned the CD image by Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0.2.614 with May 19 update and couln't find any viruses.
My system is using the Windows from this CD. Installation completed without any errors. Even this comment is written in Opera, installed automatically during Windows setup.
Let me know which file is affected with virus & which are the two missing files

I scanned the image with Bitdefender and found nothing unusual. Image seems intact.

Same here...
No viruses but there were a couple of missing system files. XP installed bit it didn't run quite right in some places. And crucially - it's 2002. NOT 2008 as I was expecting!

I didn't download and recheck this torrent for any missing files since I have the CD with me. But now I am away from home and don't have this windows cd, so I downloaded again and installed. It didn't give any errors or missing file. I confirm after 8 months, this XP setup works properly.
Yeah all the Documents and Settings files, ad Program Files installs to the D drive by default. I did this because if C drive becomes full it affects the stability and peroformance.If you wan to install evrything on the C drive itself you can do that by hiding all the drives except the C drive from Partition Magic (included in the CD). I forgot to let you know that. Sorry
This is XP cd is have all the latest updates and Service Packs till mid 2008 even though windows shows it as version 2002.
I didn't want to scrample the windows file to make it as clean as possible.
