Anyone that actually believes this is the "genuine" 1080p version has immediately proved their own naivety. This file size is only 1.75GB. The "original" file size of the Blu-ray 1080p version is over 42GB. So, the YIFY uploader is a fraud.

@gpriore And with that statement, you just proved your own damn naivety. The process through which the member of YIFY encode their movies is what makes it so small, while still maintaining a decent video quality. Look up a little program called MiniCoder, punk.

I agree with gpriore, the quality might be decent, compared to a DVD. YIFY uploads are fine for people that want small file sizes, but they are very, very misleading. I never download YIFY unless I absolutely don't care about the quality, so I certainly wouldn't get my T:ROTF from them, though perhaps Bad Teacher would be fine, but YIFY releases come out so late that there's no point in waiting for them, might as well just download from one of the daily scene groups.

I have never ever before criticised someone elses work, but after reading your comments i have almost lost faith in humanity. You look like band of people enjoying garbage, coz this is all what this encode is. Total nonsence in all meaning of this word. There is nothing left from HD and the detail loss is so horrible that even DVD looks better. Total blurr fiesta. I was searching for a slight meaning of this encode and could find none. This encode should be shown to the people as the example how you should not be compressing, coz the only thing you can get is shame. YiFY, do yourself a favour and never ever release anything like this and you guys let me open your eyes to how the HD should look like.

its not 1080p !! no shit .. you think your going to get a true 1080p with less than 2 gb? First off, they Rec the movie stream, they dont rip them from a Disk, so the original stream was in 1080p and the stream was copied so you get the quality of the stream in the small file, If you dont like the quality stop bitching and go buy the movie.
