THis now works NUKE v2.0 USe V2.1 [b]AUTOFIX[/b] This release is for the new update [b]V2.0[/b] of 06-01-06. Same as the last V1.0 Released on 05-09-06 It is a self extracting zip just run the exe You can Use winzip if you dont want it to auto install. I made it as ez as last time. REMOVES THE NAGING FROM MICROSOFT and FIXES LegitCheckControl.dll with ver 1.5.532.0 from ETHO. This install uses a modifyed Version of the M$ Update and the etho dll. thx Etho PEACE [b]BIONETWORKZ[/b] DIDNT YOUR MOMA TEACH YOU TO SHARE..... SO SEED IT....... Please leave comments. Same here, no go. Had to use system restore to get rid of the notifier.

It seems to me these patches don't work, or lead to the opposit, if no notification before, when applied to WinXP Corp versions.
And after patching I still cannot enter the WU site without validation which, of course, fails.

Works ok, all I did was replace the legitcheckcontrol.dll in windows/system32 with the one in here.
Thats all thats required to get windows update working (no need to run any program in the archive).
If your daft enough to of allowed the notification program to install then thats another story! ;-)
