i know leechers sounds bad but it aint, leechers are in the process of d/ling the files, seeders have finished leeching and have the complete files.
they're only greedy if they disable or heavilly limit their upload speed, leechers are still giving others the parts of the files they have so everybody needs to keep u/l and d/l set to unlimited and all torrents would be rapido.
it'll never happen tho cus the worlds full of selfish cunts.
remember, leechers are in the process of downloading, seeders have the 100% complete files. leechers are still uploading the parts of the files they already have so you can actually complete your download without ever being connected to a seed, it happens alot with fresh torrents before they become healthy. as long as a few peers you're connected to are connected to a seed then you can get the full completed files.
seeds aint as important as many think they are, torrents are comprised of many small parts so you take the parts you need from the peers you're connected to and others take the parts you have for themselves. if everyone kept u/l and d/l set to unlimited then all torrents would be max speed.
its a myth that disabling your u/l speed will make your d/l faster, it doesn't, unless your connection is shite with very little bandwidth available and thats rare with todays broadband. the only people that limit their u/l speed are the ones that have never bothered to understand how torrents work.

Been trying to explain that to people for years, they still don't get it. In fact the more "leechers" the faster the download will potentially be. I blame TPB for calling it "leechers" in the first place, it gives the wrong impression, they are "peers".
At the moment there are 551 seeders and 12587 leechers, that gives a total of 13138 people to download from..yet people are still complaining.
The protocol is designed to prioritize the least shared segments first, which means the torrent will be evenly distributed among the "leechers", so from a downloading perspective it makes absolutely no difference if you are downloading a specific segment from a seeder or a leecher, in fact the more leechers the more likely you are to download the segment you need fast.

Quick Education for the new ones out there, it is common courtesy to seed "atleast" an ratio of 1.5, 2.0 or greater is preferred. If you can't seed because of geographical issues, use a proxy service, you are useless, and a leech if you don't contribute, go use usenet or something. But than again, if we wanted stricter seed/leach ratios, you gotta go to Demonoid.

got this a couple of hours ago, installed fine, playing for a while. Game crashes during the cutscene when you return from the warehouse mission at the very beginning of the game. I need help guys, I downloaded and installed and all went well. I can't copy the full content of the crack into the game directory cause it won't let me copy the steamclient.dll file. it keep saying "you need permission to perform this action" and won't let me copy it.
I tried different copies of crack files with the steamclient.dll files on them and some let me copy the file to the game directory and still the game won't play. It says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022)"

I can confirm now this method of installation is perfect, been playing the game for about an hour with no troubles:
1. Download the game from and extract the Rars(files are interchangeable). Then extract/mount the ISO image. I just extracted the game files to my programs files directory manually(create your own game directory - there's is no install!).
2. Download the replace files: copy over and replace files in the game directory you created.
3. Download the crack: copy over and replace the game file in the game directory you created.
4. Play the game.
Worked flawlessly. Have fun.

@stepsym, you may need to redownload a different torrent like in my guide i gave. You probably have the wrong files togather, that or you have some type of unwanted stuff on your comp. Might need to fresh install win also, could be registry errors, lol it should be dozens of different things, bad hardware. hard to tell with something as vaque as my game freezes.

Works perfectly fine for me. will seed. BTW, the game used to crash on start up for me. I found out that it was iz3d blocking the start up because it was injecting itself into the game and the game couldn't handle it. Nooooo! I've been waiting for this for awhile, but my computer doesn't seem to be able to keep up with it very well. Strange, since I can run crysis on med. Guess it's time for a new video card, but as for the torrent, IT WORKS GREAT. I did have that crashing issue. For anyone that is still having problems loading the game at startup and having it crash, I believe I have fixed the issue.
I was having the same problem and started checking out the registry and changed one of the values, this lead me to load the game with no problems.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eidos\Deus Ex: HR\Graphics
Change the DWORD "DisableHardwareShadowMaps" from "0" to "1"
I was then able to load the game with no problems.

If you're running multiple monitors, take care in choosing the correct default monitor. I chose the incorrect default monitor and I can't seem to figure out how to get back to the initial video setup window that pops up when you play the game for the very first time. Quite obnoxious.

Hey guys. I have the game all downloaded and it installed fine, but when i move all the files over from the crack folder into the game directory, nothing will start. I click on the dxhr .exe and all it does is give me the blue loading circle for a couple of seconds and then nothing. I've tried reinstalling, Vista SP2 compatibility mode, run as Admin, but still nothing. It shows up in my processes for about 10 seconds or so, but then disappears without opening any game windows at all. Any help?

Excellent torrent, however i ran into the DEP issues that sum people seem to be struggling with. I updated my drivers (ati hd 2600 xt), installed the update into the game directory and it still wouldnt work.
It wasnt until i copied the original crack back into the game directory that the problem was resolved.

For anyone having troubles getting there game to work right
1. Download the game from and extract the Rars(files are interchangeable). Then extract/mount the ISO image. I just extracted the game files to my programs files directory manually(create your own game directory - there's is no install!).
2. Download the replace files: copy over and replace files in the game directory you created.
3. Download the crack: copy over and replace the game file in the game directory you created.

Anyone having problems -
1. Install Daemon tools or a similar image mounting program.
2. Right click Daemon tools in your system tray, then go to virtual devices, hover over the device (for me its Device 0: [F:]) and click "mount image"
3. Go to my computer and open the deus ex installer.
4. Install to what ever directory you like
5. Go back to my Computer and browse the deus ex installer. Copy the contents of the "Crack" folder and place in the deus ex game directory. When the warnings come up, choose to replace the files.
6. Open the file dxhr.exe in the game directory to play and enjoy.
There is also a patch available now on TPB. To install the patch just extract the downloaded file to the game directory using winrar or a similar program. Once again choose to replace when the warnings come up.
Please seed - the last 20% of this game download was ridiculous and if you enjoy this game, buy it! support the developers so we can continue to have sweet games like this one :) Cheers

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE PROBLEM WHERE DEUS EX STOPS WORKING AND CLOSES .
Right click your dxhr.exe and change your compatibility to windows xp ver 3.
(Other compatibilities, such as vista, might work but i havent tried)
Run as admin and you should be good .

so first the file size is 6.02 GiB so we need at least 13 GiB free space on your hard drive 6 for the file
and 6 for the extracted file
if that is ensured then right click on the file and "Extract to 'shit-dehr.iso' "
i did not download this torrent yet
but in most cases you would find an autorun.exe
lunch it and follow the installation wizard
after that you wouldn't be able to lunch it because you need to crack it
that's when you should go to the installation folder it should be in the "c:\Program Files\" if you have a x64 based pross the it's in the "c:\Program Files (x84)"
in the folder you extracted there should be a folder named crack , you should copy the file(s) to the installation folder and replace the originals with them ,
(i suppose you have windows 7) if that's the case then you need admin privileges i mean copy the files as an admin otherwise it won't work,

I have it running now.
I use daemon tools to install software. It is free and you can install from your hard drive rather than having to burn a dvd or cd.
If poweriso allows you to load an image do so. Either choose autorun if you are given the option or open the iso and run setup program. When the install is finished (it will take a while this is a big program) do not have it launch at the end.
After install go back to the iso and copy the contents of the crack directory into the directory where you installed the program. If you did the default install that will be in c:\Program Files(x86)/Square Enix/Deus Ex - Human Revolution/.
Once that is done download the patch mentiioned elsewhere . here is the link I used

Extract the files in the rar file into
c:\Program Files(x86)/Square Enix/Deus Ex - Human Revolution/. It will overwrite the files you copied from the crack directory a few minutes ago. You may be able to skip the copy from the crack directory and just do this step.
As I said above this relaese is working, but I had to add the patch. Before the patch I got message about needing steam running.
I am running this on Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit os

@ skuldriver I think many users haven't encountered install errors, like myself. Is the ISO file 100% download completed? Even if you think it is, do a torrent hash scan recheck using your torrent program (like utorrent). I'm not sure what other problem you are experiencing if it is 100% completed.

Looks like people are still having problems getting it working, please try this if nothing else works.
For anyone having troubles getting there game to work right
1. Download the game from and extract the Rars(files are interchangeable). Then extract/mount the ISO image. I just extracted the game files to my programs files directory manually(create your own game directory - there's is no install!).
2. Download the replace files: copy over and replace files in the game directory you created.
3. Download the crack: copy over and replace the game file in the game directory you created.

I extracted the files into a folder than copied the PROPER crack into the regular crack folder. then I ran setup and whenever I try to start Deus Ex from the shortcut nothing happens.

Solution:
Go to Windows/system32 or Windows/syswow (if 64 bit) and locate the atiadlxy.dll and atiadlxx.dll file in the folder and rename them respectively to atiadlxy.bak / atiadlxx.bak. Doing this helps address a good number of Deus Ex Human Revolution startup crashes.
According to the developers, this issue will be resolved in a coming patch.

@ kayzzar: I had a lot of horizontal tearing, even with vsync on, and some stutter but the newest ATI drivers and CrossfireX profiles cleared that right up. If you use CrossfireX there's a profile especially for Deus Ex HR in the newest version

I don't get it, at first the game didn't work, it would just go to black screen, so I updated my drivers for my Asus 6970 2GB and then it worked at full graphics and everything, then when I went to go back into the game after turning off my PC for a few hours it just goes to black CTD again. I went to sere if the drivers are still up to date and they are, whats wrong? The game is updated and cracked.

Heads up: don't bother with this game if your video card is worse than an HD 5 series of the nvidia equivalent. My HD4850 pops up with driver issues on anything above the absolute minimum settings, and even then i can only play for 5 minutes before the error.
Big credit to extremezone though, this is a legit release and the crack works perfectly... Just wish this game wasn't so fucking buggy

Having some issues with this release.
I can start the game and change settings without any problems. I can watch the cinematic without any problems. But about 20seconds after I've spoken to the female NPC the game freezes and my monitor resets.
I can see the mouse thingy if I click escape, but that's about it and then I have to close the game with task manager.
The computer I'm using is not the problem since I can run the newer games I've tried on full settings, Crysis2 and whatnot. Anyone else had simular issues and found a solution?

You did whole thing wrong.Download and install Daemon Tools software and then start Daemon tool and mount the iso image file you have downloaded from this torrent.If you think that in your torrent it is a zip folder than it is not so because it is an iso file, check its file extension.Mount that zip folder using Deamon Tools.

This didnt happen last week when the game was released, but now whenever I start the game it disconnects and fucks up my internet.
I know the game tries to connect at start up for the little text on the bottom in the menu. So is there an address I can block in host files or whatver to fix this?

Easy install and great game. I haven't experienced one crash yet. The load times between areas/when you get killed is a little unbearable. The game isn't as good as the first Deus Ex but it should keep me entertained until the new Elder Scrolls game is released.

Game takes forever to get where you actually play it. I was 5 minutes in and cant get past this point as the computer has aimbots where I die after a few rounds hit me. I have the difficulty setting 2nd from the easiest.
After you die it does load the last check point but has to load the game all over again.
Graphics are lacking. Crysis 2 was 300% better.
This game is overall slow. I like to play hard. This game bores the hell out of me.

I've downloaded and installed the game as per instructions. Copied crack contents to the install folder and went to run the game but I get the error message : This application has failed to start because dfengine.dll was not found.

Just installed and used the following patch to update the game.

Loaded the game up and all seems fine so far on a Win 7 64 bit OS. Also if people are wondering, the savegame files are located within your documents in a folder called ALI213.

Looks like people are still having problems getting it working, please try this if nothing else works.
For anyone having troubles getting there game to work right
1. Download the game from and extract the Rars(files are interchangeable). Then extract/mount the ISO image. I just extracted the game files to my programs files directory manually(create your own game directory - there's is no install!).
2. Download the replace files: copy over and replace files in the game directory you created.
3. Download the crack: copy over and replace the game file in the game directory you created.

For other pc dummies out there, simply use PowerISO then extract to desired folder (I created one for the job) and start SETUP. Don't forget to copy the four files from the CRACK folder into the game folder (over-writes two of the files). Then you bypass steam and play.

There is nothing wrong with the seeding of this.
If you are getting crap download speeds its either A) your isp. B) your program setup. C)your hardware.
Many popular large isps actually block and cancel (reset) torrent connections. Best fix is allow ONLY encrypted connections. And do not allow incomming legacy connections. Basically encrypted or piss off. This will HELP maybe depending on your isp and their blocking method.
The other major problem is many torrent clients try to open a great many # of connections at once. Windows by default will barf like this. Along with alot of consumer grade routers, modems, and network cards.
This.. like every other torrent i see ppl whining about speed on.. Maxes out for me at well over 2 MB/second. It's not the torrent. It's not the seeders.
IT IS YOUR PROBLEM 100%.
Fix it and stop complaining already.

you need to get a software called daemon tools. create a virtual drive, load the game and install once you've installed go to my computer and look for the virtual drive you created and in there you'll find the crack file which you can copy and paste into the installation folder of the game...

Until now my most favourite game ever has been Mass Effect. Today, I can't decide but I will definetely give Deus Ex: HR 10/10. I completed it yesterday and it's awesome. Shitty optimization :( I love Dues and I am sure the games good but the games optimization even with the patch is TERRIBLE. I mean seriously. Either the crack is causing the game to take more resources then it truely needs or if the game is just the badly optimized. Oh well, I'm done ranting. This worked flawlessly and perfectly first try.
Ran in vmware xp on a Dell xps-1647 with on 4gigs of ram. vmware 1 gig ram, dual core setup. No noticeable glitches or crashes, yet. Hopefully never.
This one looks like worth buying since it runs fine on my machine.
Oh. There may be some walware in this torrent. My virus scanners needed to be be disabled to allow installation because of multiple warnings (avast and comodo). But since is a virtual machine I don't care if is corrupt.
Not recommend running in real environment since all scanners hate the exe as suspicious. Someone needs to confirm it's clean before recommending running in live install.
Buying it is less risky. but more costly :(

Hey I really want to get the debug menu working or a trainer but none of them seem to work with this version. Updating to 1.2 causes blank dialog box with red X to appear, and game doesn't run. Can someone suggest a trainer for this version or help me update? Thanks

Good game. Boss fights are a little dry and boring, and the ending is unsatisfying. But those are the worst parts. The gameplay works great, always giving you multiple choices on how to complete an objective. Plus, while playing, I experienced an atmosphere not unlike the one from Blade Runner :)

Great torrent, everything worked on Quad-Core, GTS 250 and Windows Ultimate x64
The game is fucking killer! They definately could have done more to it, and I feel the boss fights were bland and questionable to the plot.
However, I applaude Eidos for coming up with this Metal Gear Solid meets Unreal Engine 3. It's fun, and just the kind of game I like. I beat it pretty fast, but it was fun and I'd play again so I'm going to buy it.

Don't download this if you have Intel dual core or ATI Radeon HD 5750. Below this requirements will cause the game lag in some points where areas are being loaded up. I've tried the patches but its just the same. So my advise is to buy a better processor or graphic card.

Okey, so I don't remember what I did or something, I think I updated it once but can anyone help with this? The game crashes quite often when I enter new areas, start the game or load something etc. but I read it was due to Steam DRM or some shit.
Anyway, I got through maybe 80-90% of the game until it crashed and nothing worked, no Alt+Tab, no Ctrl+alt+del, nothing. So when I restarted the game all my saves were gone, found nothing in the game directories :(
Anybody know how I can retrieve my saves or fix the crash?

Ive been having problems getting this game to run, both this download and the skidrow download. I mount the ISO and run the installer, then copy over the crack files, then copy over the crackfix just put out by skidrow, and when I try to run the game it'll show up in my running processes for like, 3 seconds and then disappears. Save Issue:
The game works perfectly fine except that i cannot save, autosave, or load, now i just read through all forty pages of comments and no one has solved this. Is there a patch i need to download? Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks for the great upload extremezone i just want to save :(

@hcapelas1 Integrated gfx won't cut it bro. Not gonna run. Don't even try DX11.
On the other hand, I had no problems installing or running. Solid 50-60 FPS on Windows 7 x64, 3.3 GHz Hexacore, NVIDIA GTX 560, 8 GB DDR3 RAM at max settings (minus AA - I hate that shit). I had some mouse lag problems, but they were fixed by disabling vsync.
@dandoodle and the others who have seemingly never used a torrent before - CRACK DAT SHIT. Once it is installed, copy the data from the Crack folder on the iso to the game's install folder. It will then run without Steam.

Just an FYI, since i had this problem.
Once you install the game, place the crack, and actually get into the game (somewhat...)
If you get a "bink" error that pops up and cant ready it, it basically says the Binkw32.dll is installed incorrectly.... just google the dll file, and place it in the game directory.

Hey, I'm having a problem getting the game to work and could really use some help. I downloaded the torrent, ran the Setup and Installed it, everything went fine there. After that I tried to open the dxhr file (from the Crack Folder) to run the game and was told by an Error Msg. I needed 2 dll files (dfengine + fmodex) so I got those and placed them in the Crack Folder. Now when I try to run it I get this msg and I really don't know what to do. Please let me know if you think you solve my problem. The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library fmodex.dll

For you people who don't know where the crack are;
Mount the downloaded content with Daemon Tools, go to "my computer" and right click the mount, "open" instead of "run", go into the Crack folder, copy it and paste it into your install folder.

Installed perfectly, runs smoothly, no problems at all right up to the point where you get to start choosing your own missions, then it crashes when I climb onto a certain roof in the main city area. No error message, it just tells me that Deus Ex has stopped working. I've tried patching it too and the same error occurs, in exactly the same place. Anyone else get this problem?

Update with this torrent It works perfectly with the SHiTROW ver. So far I've noticed that the load screens are a little bit faster and the company screens (square enix, eidos, ati, etc) was removed. Trust me the small speed you'll gain from shorter loading screens is a blessing

Hey, weirdest thing, I open the exe and shows it's working for like... 5 seconds before it stops trying, is like "fuck this" and then doesn't open. Showing the processes, it says that "dxhr.exe" is running, but nothing is happening, like it's stuck. I did the crack, I even patched it with two different patchers (after reinstalling the game) and still nothing happens. What's the big idea?

hay guyz, if you can't even get this to run cause the exe doesn't even do anything, try installing the p2p patch that kim_mandy36 linked to. The game setup should be able to start then.

Stutter is because the crack is not very good.
You can install a better crack with no stutter but it is harder:

I have a XP SP3 32bits and the game runs smoothly with the max settings!
Just don't forget TWO things BEFORE INSTALLING AND PLAYING it:
1 - Disable your antivirus.
2 - Disable your Internet connection!
PS. I do not know why but everytime I quit playing and choose "exit to windows" my computer freezes and I have to do a hard reset.
