The files should be clean but if anything comes up it will be the Patch being detected as a keygen. That's ok, it's perfectly harmless. Just follow the instructions then delete the patch after.

doesn't work with 32 and 64bit editions of vista

Tarnowsky (2008-11-26)

I think your right, although it says it's compatible with all Vista types. But I have a 32bit Vista Laptop and the menu doesn't show, it's weird. But yeah the one I'm on is an Windows XP Pro, which would most likely work.

JerryTJr (2008-11-27)

Installed on all 3 of my Vista Ultimate machines. (E-Machine, Compaq, and Dell laptop) all with SP1 upgrade.
Followed instructions.
It removed a hand full of trojans Windows OneCare did not catch including the patch as indicated by Tarnowsky.
Fully updated and all issues fixed.
I noticed increase speed after completion on all three.
The only delay was the first time it started up right before the setup wizard after initial restart.
After restart wait for the program to prompt you for settings before you try anything else.
I did not register. Good deal. TY

JerryTJr (2008-11-27)

Also I didnt update immediately as it propts you during install.

pip2_k (2008-12-02)

i mean, ive had bitdefender on my pc before and ive not had any problem before........

Isoprep (2008-12-02)

Hi, Just downloaded the torrent, installed it, canceled the restart, disabled the internet, and tried to open the Patch.exe. However while trying to load the patch I get 2 errors.
1)Patch.exe - Entry point not Found
"The procedure entry point GetRequestedRuntimeInfo could not be located in teh dynamic link library mscoree.dll"
2).NET Framework Initialization Error
"C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.5727\mscorwks.dll
could not be loaded"
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.:)
P.S My theories suggest updating .NET Framework, but how or where rather?

GamesoulMaster (2008-12-07)

@Isoprep: It would be best (in a general sense) to have all three .NET Framework versions installed, since many programs use one or more versions of it. If you simply go to the Microsoft website and search ".NET Framework" in their search engine, you'll see them right away. From your post, it seems obvious that you'll at least want to get the 2.0 one. I'd also recommend the first version (now 1.1), and also the 3.x version so you can avoid problems like this with programs you may get later on.

darkloader007 (2008-12-13)

Tarnowsky, after installing BD and disconnecting the internet, I open the patch folder then double clicked the patch, an error message came up that says " The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).Click on OK to termainate the application." any suggestions?
Thank you

smitastic (2008-12-16)

If you follow the instructions this will work perfectly.
Thank you.

darkloader007 (2008-12-17)

It works perfect now :-) I was missing .Net Framework that is why the patch did not open. Tranowsky, thank you for sharing the love my darling ;-) and love goes to " Smitastic " for answering my call :-)

I can't really help anyone with this. But I can suggest using google. That's where I normally turn to for answers and solutions on the problems I face within my computer.

tattoo_pleasure (2009-01-26)

I followed Directions down to the letter. i had to install .NET Framework but once that was done the patch worked perfectly and the program runs beautiful. Thanx a million and i will be reseeding

Kholdaxe (2009-02-08)

seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed....please?

bison97 (2009-06-14)

Works great on xp. Followed instructions and it installed and updated the software. Expires in 14078 days! Thanks!

gate_keeper (2009-11-07)

i download it and everything is good but when i tried to follow the steps to to make it work it says that the license keys is expired...
can anyone give me new license keys or tell me how to fix this???

gate_keeper (2009-11-07)

hmmhh actually... so you don't need to make and account right??
it says that it has around 13000 days or so for it to expire.
so my problem was when i tried to register to and account it said that the license key is expired, and it said to get one. so if you don't make and account its OK right??
