Garmin XT NA most Mobile Phones And PDA BlackJack 2 Tested

Category:

Description:

Welcome! This is the second version of the navigation that i uploaded. It includes everything you need to install and go. In this update, i included the maps for North America that i know work, since i found it hard to find them without any problems, viruses etc anywhere. This is tested with the Samsung BlackJack 2 and works perfect with the internal GPS. I am testing it tomoro with a nokia e95 and i will let you know how it looks. I updated the instructions alitle to make it easier for you all. BE AWARE! After sending maps to the device for the first time, it takes about 10 minutes of operation for Garmin to start displaying the maps, and from then on, it does not have a problem. This is because it requires some time to create indexes and borders for parts of the map you dont have. If you get stuck somewhere, please post and i will help. Enjoy! By Restrected.

well, i did the work, and made it alot easier for everybody to install this on their phones and pdas, but i cant be the only one seeding. i checked and 8 people finished downloading this, and only 1 of them is seeding. Plus, why dont you coment on the quality of this torrent so people can see if this is what they want!? and so i can know what i need to change?! anyway, help seed please.

urf (2008-03-17)

does it work with nokia n82? i can't find any free navigation program what works with n82 internal gps.. :/ if got some ideas, please send to aa-51@hotmail.com , Thanks!

Kitsunisan (2008-03-17)

Ouch, 2.5 gigs, I just got a 2gb card, is there anything that can be trimmed down to get it around about a gig or so? I mean, are the maps segmented into regions? I'll seed this for a couple of weeks, thanks for the upload.

Restrected (2008-03-17)

to answer urf, i think it will work, since the nokia uses either com 4, and this sofware alows you to use com 4, or the bridge driver from symbian, and it does that too. it should work. i have another torrent, which is this one exactly without the maps, is only 30 mb, try that, and if the program recognises the internal gps then download the maps. although, i think i have only included the windows mobile version, not the symbian version here. i will upload a torrent in 24 hours that will surely work with the nokia e82. check back at me.
to answer kitsunisan, yes you can! when you install the maps, you install them on the computer, and you select only the part of the maps you want to transfer into the memory card. i have 7 states, ny, nj and the around states, and it takes only 150MB with detail in max. so yes, you can just select the states you want. it is 2.5 for the entire north continent, but you choose which part of that you want in the memory card. just keep in mind: it take 10 minutes for the maps to start showing. you have to go outside, get a signal, plan a route, leave it on like that for 10 min and the maps will show, this is only done the first time only after you update maps. please let me know if this answers your questions. thanks

Kitsunisan (2008-03-17)

Answered my question beautifully, thanks. Also, glad you confirmed it working on the BJ2, that's my weapon of choice. Great torrent, I'll seed as long as I can. Hopefully it'll also work on the Dash with a bluetooth gps as well, getting one of those in a month, if not, I'll always have my bj with me.

Kitsunisan (2008-03-17)

Oh, one more thing, with the BJ2, what com port did you set to, or is it like the Windows Live search, and used an intermediate driver? Do you have to specify a certain one?

Restrected (2008-03-17)

on the bj2 you just use the intermediat driver, works like a charm, and it does work with any smart phone, tuch screen or not, with internal gps, or with bluetooth gps, and with card gps. so it will work with the phone you geting in a month. and let me know if you need any help.

Restrected (2008-03-17)

urf, i found the program you need. i have it now, i will be working on a n95 to confirm it work, and i will be uploading it. is the latest relese the one i have, i just dont know yet how to make it work on nokias, i will know in about 12 hours and upload it with instructions. you are going to need the maps and the maps software no mater what, so you should get this torrent, and only keep the big file, the maps, and tomoro i will upload the program guarantied to work with your phone and instructions on how to make it work. hang in there, wait one more day. soon.

Kitsunisan (2008-03-17)

Lol, I haven't even finished downloading it, and I'm already bombarding you with questions, but this is an easy one. Over at another smartphone forum, I've heard people saying that when they enable the gps for this, they lose the ability to use it with gmaps and windows live search, is that an issue you've run into? I never did the gps unlock because both of those programs work fine with windows mobile 6, but with this, I'd imagine I'd have to do the unlock.

shakti4u (2008-03-17)

Okay this may sound dumb, but do you need a data plan with your carrier for GPS to work
Restrected will seed as my ratio reaches 3.0 currently at 1.75
Thanks for sharing

Restrected (2008-03-17)

well, first of, YOU DO NOT UNLOCK OR ENABLE ANYTHING! hard reset your device, follow my instructions, and you will be good to go without using the "unlock" they talk about in forums. you dont need it, that is just a way for people to draw attention to themselves. you use the intermediate driver like all the other softwares in win mobile 6. it will not interfere with anything else. guarantied. and dont use that gpsenabler crap. you dont need it. it will recognize it by itself, and you dont need to hard reset the phone either, that was just to explain to you that you dont need any third party software to make this work. and by the way, i dont mind it at all that you ask questions, please do. i would like it if everybody did before rating a torrent negative.
as for having to have a data plan, well, the point of all this is so you dont have to have a data plan at all, and this is in NO WAY going to increase your monthly payment. you can remove the simcard and still use the phone as a navigation with this solution. JUST MAKE SURE, when you first start it, and it asks you how do you want to connect to garmin online, that you click never. thats all. and it will use nothing else but your battery. enjoy and please DO ask questions if you need help.

urf (2008-03-18)

really GREAT job Restrected!!!! i'll try these soon and tell then more! thanks!

Kitsunisan (2008-03-18)

Thanks. I've seeded to about 1.5 now, will continue until I see a couple dozen seeders on the torrent, its something that should stay up. And glad to hear that this works natively with Windows mobile 6, I really didn't want to deal with all that other crap. Blackjacks with unlocked gps units have a history of locking up completely, at least the gps itself does, and you need to take the battery out for an hour to get it back.

Restrected (2008-03-18)

Urf, Just go to this link, and get this file. place this instead of the other installation file in the folder installation files. follow the same instructions.
http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=3651

this is the symbian os version, the latest version. and just use the directions given in this torrent. enjoy - this is for your n82. it was tested with the n95 and it works great. the supplement files are the same for all platforms so just the installation file changes. enjoy and let me know how it turns out.

marcuzi (2008-03-18)

Hi another n00b here, wondering if this is compatible with the Blackberry 8130, ie: not windows platform. Thanks, -m

Restrected (2008-03-19)

well, the maps are compatible with any platform since the maps install in the windows computer and are managed through there and transfered into the mobile system through there.
the garmin software itself, comes in different installation files, each file is made for a specific system. one is made for windows mobile, the other for symbian os (nokia), yet another for blackberry. i can give you a link to where the installation file for blackberry is, you can get it from the garmin website, and you WILL need everything else in this torrent to make it work. just replace the installation file with the one downloaded from the garmin website, and continue with the same directions and use the rest of the files. this is the link.
well, there is a software for blackberry, i just cant find it now. i will post in a littlebit. again. sorry, i will find it for you though. hang in there.

urf (2008-03-19)

great, that really works! and it also found n82 internal gps! :) i just cant get scandinavian maps to my phone. i downloaded "Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2008 DVD" -torrent, but i dont know how to get maps from mapsource to phone! maps are unlocked . i need finland's map at most. Thanks again Restrected!

kevindena (2008-03-19)

I want to start off by saying THANKS for this program! I've been looking for something like this for quite some time...
however, I have a question. After installing and running Garmin on my BJ2, it attempts to connect to the GPS receiver. This this process seems to not go anywhere, so is this something i should skip?

Restrected (2008-03-19)

Yes. just skip it. at this step, garmin is locked to garmin bluetooth gps reciever only, buth once you finish all the steps, it will unlock and you can choose between any bluetooth reciever, to any com port in the phone, to internal intermediat driver. just skip that and follow the rest. enjoy

Restrected (2008-03-19)

urf, well, sorry but i am a moron, is finland in europe? if yes, i can fix that for you. just let me know, if you want all of europe, i will fix that. you just have to use the keygen and where you select the map id, just select europe and copy the code instead of the other one. so basicaly, instead of using code 243 in the map id section, you use the one that corrisponds to the maps you have for europe. and thats it. and then, just send the maps to the device. thats it. let me know if this helps.

b0dini (2008-03-19)

For anyone wondering, I have this up and running on an ATT Tilt. Haven't actually taken it on the road yet, but it's installed and creating routes and whatnot without a hitch. Looking forward to testing it out tomorrow. Outstanding upload Restrected!

Restrected (2008-03-19)

thankyou, i know it works in any windows mobile based smart phone and pda with or without build it gps reciever, via bluetooth if it does not have an internal, i did not, however, know that the tilt has a built in gps. that is good news since i am considering that phone for friend. thanks for the info, and thankyou for comenting on the quality, alot of people dont although they have it working.
If more people say it works, more people will trust and get something usefull. enjoy all.
i am currently working on making tomtom work with windows mobile 6 with the intermediate driver, according to my reasearch, is easy, but is going to take some coding no matter what. i like tomtom better for some reason, so wish me good luck. and thanks to all

twaticia (2008-03-19)

i followed the steps but i dont see anything about bluetooth intermediate driver. i disable gps. i am using a motorola q sprint. the app runs fine but no gps maybee the generated codes are wrong in the about screen it says no valid unlock id where do i get the device id or esn for the q? i used the number under the battery am i missing somthing?

urf (2008-03-19)

yeah now it works!!! i didn't convert my imei -> garmin unit id. that's why the maps didnt unlock correctly.. :) now works perfectly! thanks again Restrected, great instructions!

twaticia (2008-03-19)

so i finally got a card id in the settings/about screen
pasted all the codes disabled bluetooth installed maps. now it says cannot unlock maps and no gps

Kitsunisan (2008-03-20)

Looking forward to your TomTom conversion, I'd also like to check it out. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try this out yet, my BJ2 won't sync with my pc for some reason. I'll get that sorted soon though.

Restrected (2008-03-20)

kitsunisan, just click on file on the sync program, and click on delete device, and delete all of them. then reconect the phone and follow the on screen instructions to sync with suposedly you have never installed beffore. this should work. if not, do this and a hard reset which will delete everything on the phone to factory defaults. hope this helps

Restrected (2008-03-20)

twaticia, what maps are you using? if you did everything right, you should be able to disable the gps and select from 3 options - bluetooth, intermediate driver, and any com port. if you are able to do this, that means that the map id you used in the keygen is not correct. if you are not able to do this, you have saved the 2 files that provide unlock on the device IN THE WRONG DIRECTORY! just follow the instructions. if you installed garmin on the device and not on the memory card, find the folder that is named Garmin that has inside a folder named Voices, and in that garmin folder you copy the 2 files after creating codes with the keygen. you can use any map with this, but you have to mace sure you use the correct map id - since in the map code generation section in the keygen, only the enter custom code selection works. you have to find the exact map id, for the ones i provided is 243. select custom map id (in the keygen) and enter 243 for the maps i included. if you are using diferent maps, there is a program that will find it for you, but i dont have it. i can post it if you need it. if using the the maps i provided, just follow the instructions closely. hope this helps, if not, let me know and give more info about what you can and cant do, and what it shows in the main software screen.

mingerglutton (2008-03-21)

i have a blackjack 2and i followed your instructions but i am missing something. when i open the gramin software i get this message "Can't unlock maps for garmin device with unit Id 2946284587" what am i doing wrong i used the IMEI # and i tried the device Id. i pasted them in the right directory. i am very new to using a heygen. please help me out

cumbucket (2008-03-21)

Thanks for this!
One question...where do i copy the maps to on the mobile device? Which folder?
And, does anyone how the map naming convention correlates to each state/region? I only want to copy Cali, and surrounding states over to my phone, and not all of the maps.

twaticia (2008-03-21)

brilliant thanks i finally got it working on motorola q2 with bluetooth gps. thanks for the help

rakkwarrior (2008-03-21)

You did one hell of a good job on this one. Garmin will be rolling our their 2009 maps by May, hope we can get a upload here on the Bay. You saved alot of people $100 or more by upping this I'll seed until I have a 5.0 ratio or maybe even more.
PS. The Map upload took forever!

cumbucket (2008-03-22)

how and where do you upload the map to? I never got an option to do so. I just need to know where to upload it to, and i'll just drag and drop it.

Restrected (2008-03-22)

it seams that many people have problems with the maps. here i explain and hope it helps. if it does not, just ask and i will try again.
MAPS: you dont copy them anywhere, you follow my instructions, and when you are done, you should have a big program installed in your computer. you open that program and there you will see the whole map of the north continent. you zoom in, select the parts of the map you want, and click on the menu "send to device", and it will ask you if you want to send them to the phones memory, or the memory card. i think you can plug the card in the computer if you have a card reader and be able with the same method to send the maps there and it will work much faster.
if it sais that can not unlock map etc etc, you did something wrong with the keygen.
when you select the map you want to create a key for, you dont select the ones that have a name on them, but you go to custom, and there enter a number = map id number.
the maps i provided have a map id of 243. you enter that and it will generate a key that will work with the maps i provided. if you are using a different map, you have to find out the map id of that map, which is not hard, but you are going to need another program to do that, and i will try to find it for you.
that is only one of the reasons why it sais can not unlock....
the second reason is, you copied the file to the wrong directory. you will have to explore your mobile phone using microsoft sync, or just go to your computer and open it, and explorer all the folders accept for - My documets, My anything, Music, Pictures, Windows. and anywhere you find a folder named Garmin, copy the files in there. even if you find 2 garmin folders, just to make sure you are coping them in the right one, copy them in both. DO NOT FORGET to explore the memory card, which is most likely where you installed garmin. after all this is all done, you should not have any problems, just in case you do, please let me know and i will help.
as long as the maps go, you can NOT just drag and drop, because it requires indexing and alot of other things beffore you copy them in the device. after unraring the file North America Maps.... you will open the folder, install the program by runing the file Setup.exe, follow the onsreen instructions and when it ask to unlock maps or for a key, enter the key found in the instructions file that i wrote, and run the program. read the programs manual online, or read the help menu in the program, and you will be able, through that program ONLY, to send maps to the device, or the memory card in the device, or, I THINK, i have not tried it , but you can send the maps directly into a memory card that is in your computer's card reader (Asuming you installed garmin on the memory card so the program can recognize it as a garmin program and be able to send the maps there).
i think this answers all your questions, if not, please ask again. thankyou

Restrected (2008-03-22)

Oww, i forgot. Dont ever use the IMEI, unless there is no other option. go to menu, settings, about and get the numbers from there. ID, etc, and use the number device id. if you dont see it anywhere, just use the bottom most on the list. if that does not work, than go to IMEI.
Keep in mind, you are goint to have to install the maps where you installed garmin, otherwise it will not work.
If you intall garmin on the memory card, you have to send the maps to the memory card, if you installed on the phone, you have to send the maps on the phone. reason being:
When garmin installs, and it gives you device id number, that number corrisponds to the memory serial number - the memory card has a serial number, so it will use that. if you install garmin in the phone, it will not recognize the card id - serial - when you run the software cause they are not the same with the phones memory, so it will not accept the maps.
so, in very few words. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! install on the memory card, and JUST do as the directions say, and should not have a problem with anything. even if something seems wierd on the phone doring this process, ignore it, since we have to unlock 3 different products while installing this, so as this unlock, things start to work.
Forgive me for sounding rood, i am not, and i apologise, but please, do ask me if you have a question.

Restrected (2008-03-22)

also. after you done with everything, IF you isntalled the maps and garmin in the memory card, you can hard reset the phone without the card in. turn the phone on. then plug the card in, it will ask you if you want to install garmin, click on yes, and the phone will be a navigation again within 10 seconds. so as long as you dont delete anything from the card that has to do with garmin, hard reset all you want, as soon as you insert the card in, it will ask you if you want to install again.
i have not tried to use the same card in a different phone, i will give it a try, since it uses the memory cards serial, and no information from the phone so there is no way for it to distinguish, i will try and let you know.
as long as the tomtom goes, is alittle harder than i thought.
im thinking on writing a driver that will just be the oposite of the intermediate driver, it will translate backwords from what the intermediate driver does, so that it becomes like the driver does not exist and tomtom will see the gps, although, this will make bluetooth inoperational doring the process of using gps with tomtom since i might have to use the com port of the bluetooth for the gps. or i can fool garmin into thinking it is comunicating with a bluetooth gps, when in fact it will be comunicating with the build in. if anyone here knows C programing language and wants to help, i can use them. let me know. i will start on this in about 1 week since now i am busy building some servers. thankyou

bigtimewaster (2008-03-22)

i tried to install this on my HTC mogul/titan but it didn't work. after the installation on my ppc, i try to run garmin on my ppc, but it crashed with the generic send to microsoft error.
maybe its not compatible with windows mobile 6.0?
anybody got this working on the mogul?

marcuzi (2008-03-22)

Any luck on that Blackberr application file? If I find it first I will let you know, otherwise can you let me know if you know of one... I heard they are only avail if you pay... cheers, -m

Restrected (2008-03-23)

well. if you all are alittle patiente, in about 10 minutes i will upload an exe file, which, if you run it in your computer while your phone is conected and the sync shows it conected, or if you have a palm, or any other version, if all is conected and you can somehow make sure is conected, it will automaticaly install the right version of garmin in your device. after that, just follow the instructions again.
PS: i just build this computer i am using, 2 x qx6600 proccesors, 2 x 8800 gtx sli, 8gb ram ddr2 1066 g.skill, 2 raptor 150gb in raid 0 and 2 500gb samsungs in raid 0. i am proud of my machine, i have not had any sleep in 48 hours and my patientce is low, sorry abotu this. i spent around 1800$ on this, and now i have no money for cigaretes, i have not had a smoke in over 12 hours. my credit cards are maxed out at 30k and i had to borrow about 400 to build this system. i have to work my a.. off to be able to make money. im programing 4 websites at once to be able to make money, that is hard. my website will be up and runing in about 1 month. in tehre you will find anything you want from tutorials, to cracks, to files, to torrents, and dates(this one i am still deciding on), you name it, yo will find it there. so please, be patiente alitle. thankyou.
check back with me in 10 minutes and i should have another torrent up.

Restrected (2008-03-23)

ITS there. Just check my torrents, and download the lattest one. about 70MB in size. it will work with all the mobile devices. enjoy and let me know if this helps.

twaticia (2008-03-23)

so i got garmin running now i have options for bluetooth intermediate and serial. it recognizes my bluetooth gps but whenever i try to route it always says awaiting better gps accuracy even when the gps signal light on the receiver says it is locked on.
all the maps are black. anyone run into this problem?

Restrected (2008-03-23)

ok, here it is. hard reset your device if you can. if not, uninstall garmin, and explore all the folders in your mobile device. download the other torrent i have uploaded, it is about 70mb, i think, and install that, and skip the parts in the tutorial where it tells you to install the 2 files in the begining, and follow the rest. after all is done, you install the map software in your computer, and select with the mouse the part of the map you want. the click on Send to device, and select your memory card. after doing that, and haveing done all the crack in the tutorial in detail. you run garmin and follow the tutorial for the setup of the gps receiver. when you are done with that, click on: where to, home, and set the home address so it has a point of reference on the maps to show. after seting the home address, stop it and go to view map, dont set a route yet, if you did just click on stop in the main page of the navigation. on the view map, there is a very small writing on the right bottom corner that sais : either: map..., or No Map. if it sais no map after about 10 min of staying like that, you are in trouble and something went wrong in the process. if it sais the name of the street, just give it time. it takes a long time, anywhere from 2 minutes to 5 hours for the maps to show the first time after u send them to device, depending on how wide of an area you sent. in the mean time, you should be able to navigate, it will work fine, but it will not show maps for a while, then, when the internal indexing is done, everything will show fine. 5 states take about 10-15 minutes. it takes about 3 minutes for the software to actualy conect with the bluetooth gps the first time, so although the gps sais its good to go, it has not connected with the device yet. just give it time the first time. and after that, it will be fine. enjoy, and hope this helps, if not, let me know what the problem is after you do everything i just said.

Restrected (2008-03-23)

ok, here it is. hard reset your device if you can. if not, uninstall garmin, and explore all the folders in your mobile device AND DELETE ANY FOLDER NAMED GARMIN.

nautilus9 (2008-03-23)

thank you Restrected the this wonderful ups.
I'm using HTC TyTn II running on Win MObile 6.0
Gor those having problem getting the device ID, it is not the ID from Win Mobile 6.0.
Start Garmin, press Skip it tries to search bluetooh or attached gpsr.
When you see the 3 tabs below says TOOLS, SETTINGS & EXIT, select SETTING, select the Down Arrow, and click on ABOUT. You shall see Device ID number or IMEI etc. there.
Good luck. It should work after this.
As for the map, if you have other map(s), so long it is in .img format, copy it into garmin folder on your SD Card, it will work.

nautilus9 (2008-03-23)

Hi Restrected,
I have a Q on other garmin torrents, there's some with the letter NT on the title and some don't have, can you kindly explain what's the difference and which should i go for?
Thank you very much!

Restrected (2008-03-24)

the NT is the little newer version of maps, which incorporates a better compresion algorithm, as result, instead of being about 1.8GB for all of north america, it is only 1.2GB. - This once installed in the memory card. i will be relesing the newer versions 2009 nt for north america soon. and if you go to garmins website: www8.garmin.com -the eight has to be there. you can download a temporary update for the maps i provided, and that takes care of all the one way streets that have changed and all that. just be patiente, i will get another complete package in about 2 weeks. that will include the most up to date maps, i will write my instructions again to make it easier, and i will relise it in parts. i will have the installation and crack for garmin in one that works for all, i will have Europe maps, us maps, and all the other maps i can get my hands on, the newest i can get my hands on, and those will each be different torrents, and each will have the map id in the instructions file so there is no more problems with cracking the maps. hope this helps

fastbackb16 (2008-03-26)

is there any way to get a map just for the north east of the usa?

Restrected (2008-03-26)

yes, just follow the instructions and after you are done, you run the program that installed in your computer, and select with the mouse, the same way you select files in a folder, and click send to device on the menu above. that is it, and you only use the states you need. i have 7 north-east states with new york as the center and it only takes about 140MB space with the program as well. enjoy. hope this helps, let me know. and rating would not heart. thanks

nautilus9 (2008-03-26)

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I certainly look forward to maps from other parts of the world!

DOMERIGHT (2008-03-28)

skyer1 (2008-03-29)

does this pack have full uk maps??

Restrected (2008-03-29)

No, it does not have the UK maps. I will be uploading them soon though. they should be up in about 1 day. new instructions with the installation file, and different torrents for all the maps. chears

Restrected (2008-03-29)

And as for the problem installing the map software in your pc, make sure you Unrar the big file first, dont just open it with winrar or winzip and run the setup file from there. unrar all of it somewhere and then inside the directory you just unrared, run the file Setup.msi, or setup.exe. hope this fixes the problem. let me know if it helps

skyer1 (2008-03-29)

Dude, i have already got your torrent "Garmin Mobile XT Full Image For Symbian, Windows Mobile, Palm"... and started downloading this torrent on this page, but as you say it dont have the uk maps, do i still need to cancel the download or will you include the install instructions in the uk maps torrent u will do... thanks dude its appreciated...

DOMERIGHT (2008-03-29)

reserected, i unrared the file 3 times already and im getting the same area. any recomendations?

DOMERIGHT (2008-03-29)

could it be because i dont have a previous version of garmin city navigator installed? the software says it will UPDATE, but i have nothing for it to UPDATE.. i need a NEW install...

DOMERIGHT (2008-03-29)

i got it working on another computer. its transferring the maps to the device as i speak.

Restrected (2008-03-29)

skyer1, DUDDEEEE (dont use that please, im being nice to everybody - i just did not understand your question aperantly.)
No, there is no UK maps in this one, Just download the one you got, the one Full Image Palm, Windows and Symbian.
Get the UK maps somewhere else.
Get a keygen Somewhere for garmin, i recomend 1.3 v.
and find some instructions online, there is a bunch, but they are not consistent and they are a mes, but you can make it work.
you dont need this torrent.
if you want my instructions, when you download to torrent, you can select which files to download, and there is 2 files in this torrent, do not download the big one, just the small one that has the instructions in it, is about 35mb i think. leave the 2.5gb file alone since is only the north america maps in there. hope this helps.
all you have to do, is get the UK maps samewhere and install them the same way with my directions as you would install north america.
the only difference is that when you create a key for the maps with the keygen, you have to enter a different map id. thats it, everything else is the same.
hope this helps, let me know.
ps: i solld the super computer i build, so now i am back to using a p4 2.5ghz, so be patient with me everyone, i am trying to rar the files for the new uploads and is taking upwards of 6 hours on this machine. so i stoped it, i will be doing it as soon as the parts get here for my new rig.

skyer1 (2008-03-29)

Thanks dude... just one thing..how do i get the gps to work? i have n95 which has internal gps... if i go to Settings>System> i get this option related to GPS 1) Remote GPS.. on that screen i see this...
GPS information
Connection allowed to GPS devices only (and theres a symbol on the right) and bottom of the screen is "pair new GPS".. if i click on that it searches..... its searching for GPS devices but nothings gets found... ....
and where could i get the uk maps?
sorry to sound like a knob but your help is apprciiated dude...

justvisitin (2008-03-30)

i have a mogul also, and i havent' had success getting the my device to unlock the maps. I've done everything correct, copied the keys generated from the keygen to both the sw and gmpasupp, (yup including going to the bottom and selecting custom...) i put in 243 and it now says "mapid: 243" but when i start my device i get the error "can't unlock maps for garmin device with unit id....."

justvisitin (2008-03-30)

my appologies, I did do something wrong. For some reason on the mogul we must put the sw file on the device and put the gmapsupp file on the storage card. For some reason i cant see the maps, when click view maps but i get directions when i click on home and etc.

Restrected (2008-04-03)

justvisitin, as i said in the directions, it takes some time for the program to start to show maps. depending on how many states you upload in the device anywhere from 5min to 5 hours. so just use it normaly, and in it will start showing just fine. ou, also, after using garmin for about 30 min, if you have les than 7 states, and still not showing, just restart the device and it will work. hope this helps.
skyer1, i asked you not to use dude with me. you think i was jocking?! you have not done the crack right you moron. thats why it only lets you use the bluetooth from garmin, after the crack you can use any kind of gps you want, so just read the directions, dooooddddeeeee. moron

Bander007 (2008-04-03)

Hi Restredted, i m one of them who is going to bother you for nokia N82 :)

Restrected (2008-04-04)

hi bender of feauturama, if you unrar the file "installation files" you will find in there somewhere a file named "instructions". in there you have step by step instructions on how to install it and get the right numbers of your phone. hope this helps. try it out. and let me know

jrdejavux (2008-04-04)

hey guys can you use the traffic data with this torrent ?

Bander007 (2008-04-04)

Dear Restrected first of all i realy apreciate your work and help you doing for every one its just amazing. Now here in n82 i install both softwares and when i open garmin on phone "could not find Garmin hardware" this message i m getting and unable to go to settings. i think i did something wrong.
Thanx again buddy.

Bander007 (2008-04-04)

Ok, i got to seting and done everything right as instructed but now its unable to find inbuilt gps(even i try change gps setting from blutooth to built in reciver). Thats the only problem i m having now. Would u recommend to try all over again and delete garmin from mobile?
Thanx

Bander007 (2008-04-05)

i was trying to get it fresh again not when i install the file to mobile and open the file in mobile..."file doesnt support" Its a mess right now :(

http://thepiratebay.se/tor/4094189/Garmin_Mobile_XT_Full_Image_For_Symbian__Windows_Mobile__Palm

sorry bender. is my mistake, this one is the installation file you need. the one on this torrent includes the installation file for symbian, the one you have is only windows, i think. get this torrent, is small, do a hard reset on your phone if possible, if not, make sure you delete anything related to garmin, basicaly, all folders named garmin in your phone and memory card. skip the steps in the isntructions where it tells you how to install and it tells you to install 2 files at the very begining, and replace the 2 files with this torrent i just gave you. install this and then follow the instrtuctions for the crack and the rest of the stuf. hope this solves it, it should since this is a complete package and has all installation files build in and not in 2 files like the one before. enjoy and let me know how it turns out.

jrdejavux (2008-04-05)

has any of you guys gotten the traffic updates to work ???

Bander007 (2008-04-05)

Thanx again for you quick reply and consern, i download that file u sent me the link the problem is same "file not suppoeted" as i delete all garmin stuff from mobile and sd card. Please note again my mobile is Nokia N82.
Thanx Restrected.

Restrected (2008-04-05)

file not suported? well, i dont know what you are doing, but you are not supposed to copy that file to your phone or sd card. you run it in your pc, and as it runs, it will give you an option, aither install it in an sd card that is pluged in the computer and when you install the card on the phone it will ask you if you want to install garmin on your phone, or you have the phone conected and you select to install it in the phone's memory or phone's memory card and it will automaticaly select the right version to install. try that, and see what hapeneds. use the torrent i gave you, the second one, not the one in this torrent since this one does not have the istallation files in 1 file and it does not include some important updates for symbian so it does not work properly in symbian. hope this works. let me know. i have already installed it in n95's and it works great, so it should work the same in the 82's since they use the same operating systems and most of the hardware. let me know what hapeneds.

Restrected (2008-04-05)

as long as for the trafic updates, i have not tried them, but i think they should work if you create a free account at garmin.com. at least i think it should be that way, thats how tomtom has it.ill post latter about it.

jrdejavux (2008-04-05)

i figured out, for traffic updates to work you have to have the nt version of this maps which you can find here

Bander007 (2008-04-06)

Hi again...its me...LOL, sorry to bother you again bro. I am having the same problem skyer1 had. So it means i m doing something wrong in cracking.
But i did same as u told in instruction file...one thing i notice...when i go to get Unit id/deviceid/IMEI ...I see nothing in there so i used *#06# to get my IMEI and when i paste my IMEI in Upper box it just past i guess 10 digits only .....is that normal ? and after this i click on generate it gives me code and all that which i copy and past same as instruction. Can u tell from here ...what wrong i m doing now....:(
Thanx for your patience :)

Restrected (2008-04-06)

well, let me make it easier for all of you then.
skip the cracks for the maps and the garmin.
basicaly, do not copy any of the 2 files with the codes in them in the phone at all, dont create a crack file at all and dont use the keygen at all.
other than that, do everything else like it is said in the instructions.
run mapsource on your computer and send any small map you want in the device, then run garmin.
when garmin starts it will tell you: can not unlock maps for device with device id: xxxxxxxxxx.
take that id and write it down. that is your device id.
then go back to making the 2 files with the codes, and create code with that id, THEN finaly, create a code for the maps using custom map id and enter 243.
this way you will be sure to have the right device id.
the other way is to run mapsource, and on the top, at the menu bar, there should be a selection where you retrive device id from the device you are using, but to do that you must have installed garmin, and garmin must be runing. as well as, the device must be on and properly conected to the pc, where the normal program you use to explore the device does recognize it, like sync from microsoft for mobile windows devices.
hope this helps.
and just so you all know, i am uploading new instructions with new files and the new 2009 maps, both for all of europe and north america.
they should be available in 24 hours at the most as now i am busy.
keep in mind, it is time consuming for me to write instructions for people with no special computer skills. if i wrote the same instructions for someone like me, it would only take 2 lines and he would have no questions, so i have to think stupid to write those and that for me is hard.
i dont do much, but i do the reasearch, find the right files, write instructions, include all the files you will need and test everything.
that save YOU ALL a bunch of time and headache.
i gues i want some kind of apritiation. i have 2 phds in computer enginiering and programin in 14 different languages and i spend 2 hours a day gathering files people need and tell them how to use them and make sure they work before i upload them so i dont waist peoples time.
hope this helps you all. enjoy

bobbykirk1113 (2008-04-06)

After installing both files, I attempted to run the program on my BJ2. The Garmin logo appears, then the program closes back to home menu. Rebooted and reinstalled with the same results. Any help would be great.

bobbykirk1113 (2008-04-06)

I read the comment log:
Data type misalignment at program address 0x03FA7884 in background thread NULL
Don't know if that will help.

dshap (2008-04-06)

hey first i'd like to thank you, restrected for helping people out with this.
i'm having the "can't unlock map" issue as well and I wanted to clarify something...
your instructions say to use the keygen to generate a code for SW.UNL without any mention of changing the "select map product" choice. does this mean that it should be set to the default which is "City Navigator North America NT 2008" when generating a code for SW and then set to the custom 243 when generating a code for gmapsupp? Or should they both be at 243 which would basically mean I'd be putting the same code in each file...? I'm confused about this.
Also, is there any way to start over with the garmin install process and completely uninstall to try again without hard resetting? what do i need to do? thanks so much i hope i can get this working!

Bander007 (2008-04-06)

Dear Restrected, We all appreciate your work and we do realise how much you helping here without any compensation. I never seen a guy with this much patience (well except me ;)
But its good that you do realise that most of us guys dont know much about tech. stuff. So its good you thinking to think about us .(LOL) But we seriously do appreciate your work and your time you spending for good. Looking forward for that new post.....
Thanx.

Restrected (2008-04-06)

bobbykirk, the only reason that might hapened from is a mest up registry in your bj2. the only way to fix this is with a hard reset on your phone and format the memory card.
BE AWARE. a hard reset WILL delete all the contact in the phone, but none of the contact in the sim card, so copy all the contact beffore you do this somewhere, somehow. i like to use sync and outlook since it is easy and fast. but, you can just copy them in your sim card.
after you have made sure that all the info you dont want to lose is backedup and safe, you do this.
Charge to over 50%
Turn off your mobile.
Click and hold the UP button on the round button in the midle of the phone. the one you use to navigate the phones menu up and down and sideways, that one, hold the up button presed, and at the same time turn it on. DO NOT LET GO OF THE UP BUTTON.
there will apear a screen that tells you to restore to factory defaults, follow the onscreen instructions untill the phone is back on.
You click the number 1, and then the letter Y. thats all of the on screen instructions.
then, you get this torrent.
http://thepiratebay.se/tor/4094189/Garmin_Mobile_XT_Full_Image_For_Symbian__Windows_Mobile__Palm

unrar the file, run it in your computer while your phone is conected to the computer, and follow the onscreen instruction.
install it in the memory card of the phone, not on the phone itself.
then, skip the part in the instructions file on this torrent, not the one i just gave you, where you install the 2 files, as this new torrent i gave you replaces those 2. and do everything else in the instructions file. hopethis helps. it is guarantied to fix the memory controller isue you are having.
let me know how it turns out.
dshap. thanks.
here what you are misunderstanding.
the sw.unl file is for garmin to be unlocked so it can accept bluetooths other that garmin bluetooth devices.
the gmapsupp.unl is the crack for the maps to be unlocked and be used in this garmin.
for the map you use the the custom map id of 243 in the keygen and copy the code created in the gmapsupp.unl file. this will unlock the map to be used with the garmin software in your mobile.
in the sw.unl file, you have to create a code depending on your device id in the keygen, the top section, and that key goes in this file, and it unlock the usability with any bluetooth other that garmin, even internal.
the device id can be found alot of different ways.
one is to skip this step in the installation proces, and install mapsource for north america in your computer. this is the program that will copy the selected part of the continent into your phone. and check the menu bar. in there somewhere, since i dont remember, there is a button that says: get device info, or get device id. click on that while garmin is runing on your phone and the phone is conected to the computer.
the other way is to start garmin, click on menu, options, and find the tab where it says ABOUT, and in there it will tell you 3 long nubers with letters. copy the device id down. if you have no device id number there, just get the bottom most.
use that in the keygen's top part to create a key for the sw.unl file in order to use a gps other that garmin.
hope this helps. enjoy and let me know how this worked out for you.

Bander007 (2008-04-08)

Just i m stuck on crack i guess......even i tried the trick u told about download small map from mapsource, i did and when i start Garmin on phone it just start looking for GPS device and after that of i click no it takes me to menu and if i click to map it take me somewhere......even again i check in "about" no id there....I hope you can help in this, Thanx again.

dejchy (2008-04-09)

sory
can ask you if this work on
LG KU990?

pyrextester (2008-04-10)

ok, so i installed everything cracked everything correctly and managed to get some maps onto my storage card. now they are on the storage card but it still says "can't unlock maps. make sure gps is connected", now i dont have a gps connected but i didnt think i needed it just to view the maps. any help would be greatly appreciated. and i DID unlock the maps with the key provided.

ViciousOne (2008-04-10)

Restrected,
I followed the instructions to a "T", however I get the "Can't Unlock Maps for Garmin Device with Unit ID XXXXXXXX"
I went back to the Keygen and inputed my IMEI again and generated a new number for the SW file and did the custom mapset with code 243 for the GMAPSUPP file and recopied them to the BJ2's Garmin folder but this still did not fix the unlock problem.
Everything else went like you outlined in the instructions.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Vicious

ViciousOne (2008-04-10)

Restrected,
I also uninstalled the program and reinstalled using the Device ID and I still get the same message.
Thanks,
Vic

ViciousOne (2008-04-11)

Ok, I have found a solution that worked for me.
get this torrent:
http://thepiratebay.se/tor/4050490/Garmin_unlocker.rar

Uninstall the Garmin software from your divice and delete the files from the Storage card on your phone.
Reinstall the program file as directed in this torrent.
Unlock the map files as directed in this torrent, but before you open the map program Run the All.bat file (just double click it) you just download from the torrent I provided where ever you un zip/rared and it makes the map file work with any device.
After the ALL.bat file is complete use the map program to upload the maps to your device.
It worked for me and my BJ II.
I hope this helps,
ViciousOne
PS. Thank you Restrected!!

Restrected (2008-04-12)

well, sorry i have been gone so long. i have had no computer, i sold the one i just build and i expect the other parts on monday. i have the new upload ready, but i have no computer to upload it with, i am using a laptop now.
as long as for the Can't unlock maps, you did not specify that you are talking about the mapsource, the program in your pc that will upload the maps into your device. THERE IS A KEY IN THE INSTRUCTION FILE THAT DOES THAT. so im sorry, but you did not follow the instructions to the "t".
i will upload on monday a new installation file, with new instructions, and the new maps 2009 nt that is usable with traffic updates and all the bels and whisles.
BOTH, for North america, AND complete europe.
this is going to be in 2 different files, both complete with installation instructions, installation files and all you need to do a clean install. this is better 3d looks and maps. i have tested it already and it looks much better.
be back on monday night. thakns

ViciousOne (2008-04-12)

Restrected,
Your key worked well and the key you supplied did open the maps program. The All.bat program is run on top of those files to attrib the files to work when you get the cant unlock or open maps on your hand held, in my case the BlackJack II.
I have loaded two BJII's now after I applied the all.bat program with 100% secuss.
Thanks,
Vic

Manny007 (2008-04-13)

Welcome back Restrected.....I am waiting for new files, thanx.

Restrected (2008-04-13)

well, as a matter of fact, the all.bat file is included in my new upload since it is the only way to unlock the 2009 maps for north america and europe in mapsource and the other program that garmin relised that sends maps to the hendheld. i have clear, shorter instructions ready for the new upload. it will be 2 torrrents, one european with everything you need to be up and runing in about 10 minutes tops for any system that is portable. and the same for north america.
i tracked my shipment today, it is not going to be here untill wensday, so i am building an old machine to work temporarily and upload the files by tomorrow.
check tomorow night, they should be up there.
thanks to all of you for the support, it helps people like me continue to do what we do.

bigbadhip (2008-04-14)

hey dude thanks so much for you this torrent ... works perfectly with your instructions on my AT&T Tilt phone. I personally don't care for the process of copying maps to the device (can't do it by state, or at least i haven't figured out how yet); but other than that, it works great. i drove around for a while and it's awesome. really appreciate all your work and follow-through on this torrent.
2 thumbs up.

Hey Buddy, I am the first one to ask "again"....Garmin 2009
After install "GarminMobileXTFullImage_4xxxx".
When i put mysd card back to my N82 it didnt ask me if i want to install Garmin.....even i try turn it on and off......so can i run any file from my phone (as garmin folder is in my Memory card) And this is Brand New instaltion After hard reset. Thanx for a great work on instruction...

Restrected (2008-04-15)

manny007, are you talking about he new torrent i uploaded? or this one?
if it is the new torrent, try installing it to the memory card through the phone.
i mean, plug the card in the phone, then conect the phone to the pc, run the file again, and chose the phones card as the destination. after it is done it should imediatly ask you to install.
if this dont work, im sorry, but i dont know what it might be.
you can aswell try to run the garmin file from your file explorer in the phone. and that should start the installation.
search the garmin folder, and see if there is an installation file in that folder, if there is any file that your phone (symbian) will run, just run that through the file explorer.
hope this helps.
if you dont have the other torrent, i recomend that.
enjoy

Manny007 (2008-04-16)

Hey Buddy i got it working and i m installing this new torrent 2009, now here is the next problem (LOL) After every thing is done i m having trouble getting my unit id .(as it was my problem before as well) When i click utility i cant see unit ID number but it shows my phone name (Manny cell) in Device box and 0 in Unit ID. One more thing when i connect my phone with pc i have to choose "pc suite " If i choose Data Transfer my phone gives a message phone cant recognise Memory card in this mode and i cant see Garmin in Aplications if i choose Data Transfer. But choosing PC Suite works fine and in utilities in Device it shows My name but doesnt show UNIT ID...any clue buddy ?

Dinesty3k (2008-04-20)

I got some more info on the GPS for the BlackJack II. Follow the link. It talks about how the driver is only supported by Telenav:( but does talk about ways around it :)
http://www.intomobile.com/2007/11/26/unlock-your-samsung-blackjack-iis-integrated-gps-receiver-to-work-outside-of-telenav.html

ViciousOne (2008-04-20)

Dinesty3k or anyone else....
You do not need that software to open the GPS on the BJII.
This torrent does work and I have applied it to five BJII's to date with now problems.

Manny007 (2008-04-26)

Hi restrected, i m just wondring if ur busy or didnt got ur machine yet or i m just asking stupid questions........

Restrected (2008-04-26)

hi, manny007.
i got my new machine.
unfortunatly, is not to my liking.
its an amd dual core 64x2 3.6ghz(OC) 2.8ghz stock
2gb ram a.data 1000mhz(OC) 800 stock
4 x 160gb hdd in raid 0
1 dvdrw multi
1 geforce 8800gt vga
and a gigabyte mobo
all in a thermaltake case and psu.
i spend 900$ on that thing and is good for any game or aplication, but not as good as my previews machine was by far.
i had 4tb of hdd in raid 0 on the other one, here i have no space, i am using my server through 247 ftp access, which is no good cause is slow, only 10MBps (80Mbps) 2x t4 conections.
anywho, now i am up and runing at least, but i dont have the power i need to do all i need, and i have had some bad feadback that discourage me from gathering and testing and packaging and reuploading files anymore. check my other torrents, you will see what i mean in the comment sections.
well, that does not mean i am giving up completly, if you are in need of a specific something, just let me know.
i have anything you need, and i test my stuf before archiving them in my server, so if i upload something i know it works.
so, let me know if anyone wants any software in particular and i will seed for you.
thanks.
Manny007,
to get to your question now, sorry it took so long,
after installing the garmins software through your phone in the memory card, and runing it once to the main screen, take the card out and plug it in the computers card reader, and just follow the instructions
run mapsource and go to get unit id, and it should show.
so everyone knows, the unit id, is not the phones unit id, IT IS THE MEMORY CARD'S UNIT ID.
unless, you are using the phones memory (in case of a nokia N series that have build in memory over 2gb) and than you have to use a imei to id converter for garmin. you can find it in the torrents here.
hope all this helps.
let me know manny.
bye

Restrected (2008-04-26)

I will be uploading a new torrent, it will include:
the newest installation files for any mobile device.
lattest support files.
lattest base map
the lattest cracks
the lattest maps for North America.
i will inlcude 2 torrents.
one will have everything, the other one only the installation files.
the installation files are helpfull for those of you who have already installed one of my torrents and just want to update to the lattest maping software, since the newer software is faster in drowing maps.
they will be up tomorrow.
enjoy

Manny007 (2008-04-26)

Thanx for answering, my phone is N82 so it has memory card in it and i m doing every thing as instruction but when i run MapSourse and click utility it shows my Phone (GarminXT Manny) but it unit id it shows '0.
So any other idea how i can get my memory card's ID ?
Thanx buddy and i feel bad if people dont appreciate your work. Thanx again.

Restrected (2008-04-26)

well, manny, the only thing left for you to try is.
go to the main page ot the navigation in the phone.
click on the menu button, settings, about.
there should be 2-3 numbers there.
write all of the down and try them one by one.
the other way is to use an imei converter.
in your nokia that is most likely what you will need to do.
do a torrent search for an emai to id converter for garmin.
hope this helps.
sorry i cant do anymore, if i was there i proably could.
let me know how it turns out,

Manny007 (2008-04-27)

Thanx for reply buddy, i tried already that "about" thing but i m gonna try to find this converter and let you know. Thanx for your help again....

I m using N82 with SD card. But still its not working buddy.

Hatecomplications (2008-05-14)

You guys with Nokia series, you shouldnt be downloading the latest. Stick with 4.60 or your internal GPS won't work.
restrected, i hope u also include instructions for the N95-4 withOUT internal memory card and include an IMEI to card converter with complete basemap files and voice files needed to run the app. Garmin says that they are not available in any update on their site. Also, people need to be aware that on some phones like the Nokia smart phones, they should only stick to 4.60 version. If it ain't broke don't fix it applies.

I just recently bought the blackjack 2 and i'm trying to get one of these to work. I messed around with some stuff with regedit and not my phone is messed up. This kind of applys to this torrent but i use t-mobile with the BJII and can i hard reset the phone? If i do a hard reset, will i have to have it unlocked again?

A great download and great instructions, thanks! One observation though in case you are like me a frequent intercontinental traveler and want to install North America and Europe at the same time. The program seems to have a limit of 2GB - going beyond this on a map set does not work. The mapset is shown under my data but with an incomplete size and the program can not display the maps or route with them. So either downselect to a mapset below 2GB or install Europe, rename the mapset file (e.g. add EU-BAK to the filename) and then install US - when needing the one or the other continent quick renaming of the mapset file does do the trick - the need to calculate a route from the US to Europe is rare ;-) Cheers

Hey restrected,
thx for the software, i have to ask u for ur help though. I got everything working except for loading the map to my tytn II. Mapsource is working and when i select the maps for transfer and error message comes up saying something like class error or incorrect handle. And it just closes the program. How can I get these maps onto my SD???

beek7816 (2008-08-22)

I have a blackjack II, got up to showing the bars. However, when I click on view maps, I can't see the map. I see the map transfered from the software but no luck. Please respond anyone!

What a great download you have put up. Its almost too good to believe. I am not good with computers and I was able to get it up an running in 15 minutes. Now I am concerned though. I was under the impression that because the maps download from the computer to the blackjack that I will not be charged for data usage. But when it connects to the satellite how is it doing that if not by using a data plan. I know this is probably a really dumb question, but i do not have a data plan and i am terrified that it is using the internet which i will be charged by usage without knowing it. I brought up my address and gives me voice directions to work. amazing, but again I have a bad feeling it is using the internet and not showing it is using it on my phone?

tenoch101 (2008-10-10)

this works great. Thank you.
Everybody note: the instructions are great. You will need to download & run all.bat file before running & loading the maps to the device. This particular file is posted here.
Look throughout the comments to find this extra file.
I am loving it.

Thanks a million, Restrected! It took me more than 4 hrs. to figure out to make it functioning on my Nokia E71.
For those who are getting Card ID as 0 (especially Nokia E71 owners), please download the latest updated version 5.00.00s60.9 from
http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-11034-00

and, download the appropriate file from there:
For Nokia E71, etc: download Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition, Ver. 5.00.00, as of Aug 04, 2008
After installing, restart your phone and when you start the Garmin application again, go to settings -> About, you would see the Card ID. If this doesn't work, format your microsd card and download the garmin application again from the Mobile Device Installation Files (from the original files that you downloaded from this forum) and then again get the updated version from the Garmin site as explained above. This time, it would work.
Follow step by step what Restrected has instructed. For enabling the internal GPS, in the main screen of the Garmin application on your phone, take your cursor on the tiny icon on the top left corner of the screen (where the phone signal bars are there) and click on it, which would allow you to select and enable the internal gps. If you are unable to do it, go to inbuilt Nokia GPS application and click Maps. Keep it open and go back to Garmin application and this time, you should be able to enable internal GPS.
Rest is easy, but a patient wait for installing the maps etc. as per Restrected guidelines.
People should understand that it is very difficult for anybody to write your instructions for all kinds of devices as they are all different and you may not know what kind different of problems they could encounter with their devices.
Many thanks, once again to Restrected. Please keep up the good work.

Hi dtrmnd,
I have an E71 as well. I need some help from you.
I followed the instruction in step 5. I connected the phone via USB cable in Mass Storage mode.
I selected to install "GarminMobileXTFullImage_4xxxx" in d: (direct into memory thru the phone). It just executed and completed the installation.
It did not ask me if i want to install Garmin as stated in step 5d. So i cannot proceed to step 6.
I disconnected the USB cable. Went into Menu -> Installations -> App. mgr. Found "GarminMobileXT_PA" - status "Not installed". I click install. It paused for a few second the msg "Unable to install" appeared.
Anyone can help me what went wrong or what can i do to proceed? I really want to install this sw. Please help!.

p/s: I downloaded the "Garmin Mobile XT Europe NT V9 Complete - Repack by Restrected" instead of this torrent.

abomb78 (2008-11-30)

I followed all instructions and got my BJII to get my location. After typing in an address I lost signal and all I get now is "Unable to locate GPS device:please verify that device is powered on and within range. Continue Searching?" Even when I click yes to continue I get the same message about a minute later. What do I need to do?

denachtzuster (2009-01-16)

I read all nice comments and i just thought would be great if this also works on HTC HD -WM6 with bleuchart. I have the Bleuchart working on my desktop and hope your program can recieve the map i have. If you think it cn i'll try to mannage and post here...... There are lots of friends to make with that. snowyman45 (2009-07-23)

Dear Restrected, when I install the zip files onto my blackjack II ,with windows 6.1, everything looks fine. When I try to run it on the smartphone, it says that it is missing files or they they are in the wrong place.

FSjock1 (2010-03-31)

Just installed this on my HTC Touch Pro 2 with WM 6.5, it's running and detected GPS signal. Now I'm just waiting for it to render the maps, hopefully it works after the 10 minutes or so.

FSjock1 (2010-03-31)

Just an update from my last comment, everything installed properly and is fully functional.
