Thanks very much for the upload. I love this film. I first saw it on late night tv in the US back in the 50's. Years later I found it on VHS, but was disappointed that some scenes were missing, including the exquisite final scene on the train. The original French was 114 mins, so this one won't be complete either, but still longer than the US version on DVD. After the download finishes I will be able to comment about the quality. It is downloading very slowly. As so often happens with very large files, too many leeches are not sharing 100%. There are only 9 online now. I will do my part seeding it and I hope more of you will too.

I thought the quality was reasonably good, considering the original audio wasn't great. However, 6.56 GB for an old film of average quality, in my opinion, is overkill. I resized it to what I think is a more reasonable 815.98 MB and compared with the original I could see no difference. I have uploaded my version.
Because of the large size of this file I had to remove it, after seeding it to a ratio of 2x, to make room on my hard drive. I think that my smaller sized upload will be a better option--not only much less to download, but I think more people will be inclined to keep it on their hard drives and continue to seed. That was my hope. After two years of seeding my upload there is seldom more than one other seeder. However, if you are able to connect with me you should get at least 100 kB/s download speed.
