Corelia - 2011 - Nostalgia EP

Corelia are a progressive metal band based out of San Diego, CA. The band was founded by guitarist Chris Dower and drummer Clayton Pratt. Bassist Adrian Alperstein was added to the lineup a few months after the band’s original formation, and in 2010 the band completed their lineup with vocalist Ryan Devlin and guitarist Ryan Borrell. Throughout this process of finding band members, the band released several demos online which initiated the growth of their fanbase. In September of 2011, the band released their debut work titled ‘Nostalgia’. Bringing forth a truly progressive sound with a metallic edge, the balance heard in this album is sure to spark interest in both 'classic' prog-metal fans and contemporary metal fans alike.

this sounds awesome! its exactly the kind of stuff I've been looking for but having trouble finding, ever since my other favorite prog-metal bands Opeth and Dream Theater released less-than-impressive albums. If it weren't for TPB I never would have even heard of them, so whoever came up with this idea of having TPB be used as a tool to market and promote bands instead of just allow us to "rip them off" truly hit the nail on the head! I wasn't a big fan of the last band promoted on this site, they were a bit too 80s brit-pop for my tastes but the concept is great.
