The music is good, but as an avid outdoorsy type McCandless (sp?) was a moron to go into the woods unprepared. Even when I first read about him in Outside magazine in the early 1990s my first thought was what a shame, second thought: what a moron! And the movie just tried to make a hero out of his dumb ass.

I listened to the soundtrack before I watched the movie and didn´t like it....it just didn´t make much sense to me at all.After having watched the movie,it became a whole new experience! This soundtrack is great and adds to the movie,making a smooth transition and expressing so much throughout the story.The movie made me see life differently as well,I might add. :)
