mp4 is an avi you just have to rename it.
xvid, divx, and h.264 are all types of mp4's
if anyone doesnt believe me then try it yourself, change the .mp4 to .avi

@ tomholius, yes you are right but you could also rename them .txt and windows would think it was that! h264, whilst based on mpeg4 standards is a variant optimised for very high compression hence larger cpu overhead on systems without hardware graphics support for this. Renaming this file does not automatically change its properties as divx and xvid (part of the 4ccs) are mpeg4 in an Avi wrapper needing said decoders to access data inside, a good example of why this would not work is to think of divx compatible stand alones (of course some do decode straight mpeg4) they will have trouble as there would be no divx or xvid signature data in the file headers metadata, so for pure compatability a transcode is nessesary, this can be done by rewriting the metadata but often proves unstable so a full transcode is needed, use a free product like headbands gspot (not a plug its geniunely useful) to analyse the file so as to be able to match the settings for any transcoding.

Quicktime, VLC media player both have Mpeg4 codecs as a part of their program, if you cannot play back via media player (classic or windows) install ffdshow tryouts, which has a handy interface to enable or disable various decoders, you might want to do this if you have installed Divx, Xvid, Mjpeg, Mpeg2 or any other stanalone decoders installed E.G. Nvidia Mpeg2 decoder as they can conflict with each other.

Excellent quality ! Movie not as good as series, kind of like the simpson movie.....they took a half hour series and drew it out into a movie.....but the quality is just like watching and listening to the actual DVD. Audio and Video 10/10 ! This comes out in a few days on Amazon, so an advance copy of this is definitely appreciated !

Good video quality and all synced. Probably a fun movie if you're into D&D, but I found myself a bit lost in the second half. Nice to see futurama still going though.

This is 100% genuine! Both the sound and video were great on my computer! I used VLC media player for this without problem!
Some people are saying this movie is the weakest of the three Futurama movies but I enjoyed this one and the other two! :)
