Does this include a crack or keygen? After you use the unregistered version for a while, it pops up an alert box every few minutes telling you to register and only the HTTP protocol works...Dark_Lolita (2009-07-18)
Please seed. This torrent doesn't even start.Dark_Lolita (2009-07-22)
Thanks for the torrent. You don't need a crack or a keygen. its what I was looking for. The older free version. Thanks so much. You rock.1234sowhat (2009-11-08)
I installed it, replaced the "PdaNet.apk" in the program files and when I try to use PdaNet it says "this version of PdaNet has expired". anyone having this problem?fullauto223 (2010-02-09)
OK, for those who are having trouble please follow these steps. Take note that PdaNet.apk is the old (non-pay) application that needs to be installed. The follow is how to do it.1) Uninstall PDAnet if it is currently on your phone. (This is the bullshit version they asked you to upgrade to which adds no function except to extort money.)
2) Download and install the Android SDK (Google It)
3) Now type adb in a command shell will display all the options, adb.exe is SDK tool used to install applications and interface with the device.
4) Now Connect Your Phone to your computer using USB cable. You need to install Drivers for this. Download Android USB drivers from here. This driver is required for adb to interface with an android G1 phone using USB cable.
5) Go to Android Settings/SD card & phone storage and disable Use for USB storage. You can enable it again later after you installed your third-party application.
6) Go to Settings/Application settings and enable Unknown sources.
7) Download the Application installer .apk file to a local folder on your computer, Now type below command at command shell to install app.
adb install
Once the old version is on the phone just install the windows (EXE) and you'll be good to go!

Is there a way to make this work on mac??Natsuu (2010-05-16)
I appreciate your help, full auto but i'm stuck. I dont understand this.3) Now type adb in a command shell will display all the options, adb.exe is SDK tool used to install applications and interface with the device.
Where am i supposed to type that in at? I found an adb.exe in the tools folder, but running it just pulls up a dos window for a second and closes it.

@Natsuu I know you sent that message quite some time ago, but maybe I'll still be able to help you and anyone else confused about this..I was also confused by what he ment but figured it out
When you download the Android SDK and you install all the tools and "stuff", for lack of a better word, the adb.exe program is put into teh tools folder of the Android SDK folder. So if you downloaded the SDK and extracted it in your downloads folder. this folder will be in your downloads folder.
Use Explorer to navigate to the android SDK and the tools folder.
Copy the full address from the address bar
open cmd.exe
type "cd (and then paste the address your copied)"
Press enter
This will put you in your tools folder where you can type adb. From there just follow the est of the instructions by fullauto223
Thanks Fullauto223, appreciate the help =)
and hope this helps clear things up

yurdle, or anybody else, how did you get around the \'this version of pdanet has expired\' message? when i connect to pdanet, that message pops up, and pdanet doesnt work.nthanks for all the help so far getting it installed.GranPoo (2010-07-15)
First, thanks for all the hard work that went into coding this solution and in making it available to those of us who have a need. nnSecond, I too have an issue in that the proposed solution seems to no longer work as intended. I got the PdaNet.apk file installed, but the *112x64.exe file errors out saying it\'s unable to detect the device when loading the USB driver (at least, I believe that\'s where it\'s hiccuping.)nnCould the fine folks at the fabric store have changed their code in the year since this fix was uploaded to prevent this solution? nnHas anyone encountered, and resolved, that problem?nnInquiring minds, and all that ...GranPoo (2010-07-15)
I should add that I got around the USB driver issue by installing Freenet, which supplied a driver that PadNet detected, which caused it not to error out while trying to install its own. But the https restriction is still in place.liljohno7 (2010-07-19)
it doesn't work can somebody please seedbaaambey (2010-08-04)
