My copy is completely screwed up. This is the second defective disc from GU's unmixed series in a row. Afterhours 5 had an error in Disc 3 where the last two songs weren't tracked separately, but included under one track number. The CD only tracks 8 songs while the cover art reports 9.
For this lovely edition, we have:
Disc one (CD1) has the proper track listing (8 tracks on CD matching 8 tracks listed on the cover art), but the CD has more songs than listed on the cover art and not tracked on the CD index either. Track 7 (Dark Globe - Atoms (Henrik Schwarz mix) reports the track length of 22:08 mins. Dark Globe - Atoms ends at 6:29. A new song starts at 6:31 and ends at 14:21. Another unknown song starts at 14:23 and closes out the track at 22:08.
Disc two (CD2) incorrectly tracks 8 songs whereas the CD cover art reports there are to be 10 songs. Track 5 (Adam Johnson/Four Squares) has a track length of 17:42. I have heard the song that starts on Track 5 before and I do not recall it being Adam Johnson. I can't recall it right now, but I have played it before on another issue. Nonetheless, at 6:04 another song (possibly Ashtrax/Future Traffic Song as it keeps repeating "you sound like traffic?") fades-in on this `unmixed' edition right as the first song ends (a fade-in mix). At 10:34, a train wreck, slop DJ mix kicks over to a new song with volume level drops. Track 8 is Jay Lumen / In Love and there appears to be no Trafik /Salt In NYC (Marcus Schossow & Thomas Sagstad Remix), which is a disappointment as they are always great.
It could have been a great issue without all the errors. I am just about to put in GU Mixed 3 to see what screw-ups I will find there. This is not like Global Underground, but now this is 2-in-a-row.
