hi i get the fm.exe application error
the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005) click ok to terminate the application.
So i copied all the files from the crack to sports interactive football manager 2012 and tried to play then came the error.

Damn. FOR everyone that's getting "Football Manager has stopped working" im guessing it's a Vista problem. Did some research and tried the following:
1.update directx
2.update netframe.
3.right click FM.exe -> Compatibility Mode -> tick Run this program in Win XP mode
4. right click FM.exe -> tick Run this program as administrator
Nothing worked. Also saw someone say to make an FM.exe shortcut and then right click the shortcut on desktop and set the window mode to maximize.
Fucking Vista.
IF someone gets a fix please let me know. Cheers

Once again I can confirm that this actually works :) just don't forget to copy ALL the files in SKIDROW directory to game directory, and if you have steam installed, also copy "steamclient.dll" to the steam directory.

Right lads, I've been trying to play it for hours now but can't get it to work. I mounted the image and installed the game. I copied everything from the skindrow torrent I had downloaded in the file that says skindrow in this torrent. And it still won't work. Yes, it has the editor, but you have to apply the quickfix as instructed above.

Which OS are you running? I don't know how to help you, but here's the steps again in a little more detail:
1) Mount the image
2) Install to your preferred directory
3) Locate SKIDROW folder from the disc -> open the folder -> ctr+a to select all -> copy
4) Locate your FM2012 install directory -> paste and REPLACE
5) Do not start from desktop shortcut (unless you've made one from the crack/modified .exe file), but from the gamefolder.
- Exe file should be 74,3 Mt in size now

game works an absolute treat, just mount image with daemon tools, take everything from skidrow directory into your sega football manager folder in your programmes, paste and your done
as for data editor, just delete the .xml file below the actual editor and it will work fine

If you have Vista and the game crashes uninstall Steam and copy only the exe from Skidrow folder, it worked for me so im guessing it will work for you. If you wanna play with the last patch 12.0.3 dont update via steam, because the crack is for 12.02 version, wait for the release, it should not take so long.
PS: dont forget to seed!!!

Ok, downloaded and installed directx, then i reinstalled the game. when i launched it everything went fine until i got to the frontscreen in the game. Thats where it crashed. When I copyed the files in the skidrow folderand put it in the game installation folder i replaced the old files. Now I cant even open the game. It says: Football Manager 2012 has stopped working.
What can I do?

FOR ALL OF YOU THAT ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM: "FM.EXE STOPPED WORKING".
1) Uninstall the game and delete My Documents Sports Interactive folder and SEGA folder on hard drive;
2) Install again;
3) There will be a shortcut on desktop, delete it;
4) Go to Skidrow folder on iso image, COPY ONLY FM.EXE;
5) Replace it on game folder
6) Play from there or make a shortcut to desktop.

_86.exe fraud tool detected after install. Check you windows explorer. if its there then comment. I have never found this is anything that skidrow has done in the past. so where did it come from? my Editor does not work, it loads but does not function at all. i deleted the special folders.xml in the Editor map. is this correct or did i delete the wrong .xml ?

1. Uninstall Steam you don't need it to play the game.
2. Unistall Football Manager 2012 Demo if you have it again you don't need it and may be the cause of some of the issues?
3. Delete anything off your HD relating to 1 or 2 you won't need any of it unless you use Steam for anything else. Now install FM 2012 via Daemon tools or similar.
4. Copy the FM.exe from the skidrow folder and paste it into the SEGA>Football Manager 2012 folder.
Should work now did for me I've had the game on holiday mode to check if it crashes or not and passed the first few months fine.
For the editor deleting the .xml file and then loading the database (which I think some are forgetting to do) seemed to work for me the first time but then I started getting font errors and had to delete the cache which I learned to do here:

ok i just solved 0xc0000005 message problem.i was playing demo before so if you did that too go in my documents7sport interactive and delete all FM 2012 folders.
delete complete sega folder in program files and install like on instruction but instead all skidrow folder content copy just fm.exe and replace it in your new sega folder.
i hope this will help to somebody.this was my xp problem and for now i can play normally :)

2 things.
1) sasnet stop spamming the pages with your shite site. We've already got enough verified cracks here on TPB
2) There is no point in playing the game until a crack for 12.0.3 comes out. There is a goalkeeping bug which doesn't allow you or AI's to train the keepers positioning stat and your goalies end up being shite in a season with no way to fix it.
So don't waste your time, until SKIDROW releases the 12.0.3 crack.

For those who cannot open the editor or have some problems with. Open the special folder.xml in the editor's folder. Change all the directories there to where exactly are the files, instead of "../football manager 2012/data", change it to "D:/football manager 2012/data" or where ever you install the game.

Once this is done, follow the instructions below:
Windows XP:
1. Open “My Computer”
2. Navigate to : “Documents and Settings\\Application Data\
3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder.
4. Go to the “Editor 2012” Folder.
5. Delete the ‘cache’ Folder found inside here.
Windows Vista and Windows 7:
1. Click “Start”
2. Click your username on the start Menu
3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming”
4. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder
5. Go to the “Editor 2012” Folder.
6. Go to cache Folder.

now when you run editor it should work just fine but you will need to delete this file everytime you start the editor.

I'm using XP. i did the following for the Editor.
Opened the special folders.xml and changed all the paths to the right directory.
for example: it was: "../data
changed to: C:/My documents... (your directory path)
i also did the same in the following folder, in the editor map, open up the data map. there should be a specials folder internal map, open it. Change that .xml file the same way as mentioned above.

Ok i was getting the loading screen dissapearing trick happening to me all the time so i unistalled then reinstalled everything so all of m stuff was saved in the (COMPUTER / ACER / PROGRAM FILES / SEGA / FOOTBALL MANAGER 2012)
THEN.....
I downloaded this crack ( )
I then ONLY Copied the (fm) file that was inside the crack only folder i copied it to my ( COMPUTER / ACER / PROGRAM FILES / SEGA / FOOTBALL MANAGER 2012 )...
And a screen popped up saying there is already a file called " FM " do you want to delete or add both, I added both but the one i got from the crack folder was renamed " FM (2) " .. i then deleted the original fm.exe and the game now works :D

I think if u d/l this file and put it in the game directory u should be ok...Choose the .zip file, not the fixer file...

After having trouble with dump reps I tried this....
Installed game and updated Direct X.
Installed update.
Now all I did then was to overwrite the fm.exe file
using the the original fm.exe crack. So far it seems to work.
The problem seems to be with the update fm exe file.

Tested and supported. Just overwrite whatever fm.exe file in your game directory with the one from this downloads SKIDROW folder.

The solution to the CRASH DUMP problem is adding the fm.exe file to the antivirus exception list...It worked for me on a Windows 7 32bit. with Bitdefender...

1:install demon tools,
2:instill directx just google search,
3:right click demon tools icon virtual devices, mount image then select fm2012 that has been downloaded, then install,
4:go back into my computer right click the virtual fm2012 that is there and press explore, you will now see the skidrow file there open it and copy all,
5:now go to fm2012 that has been installed, my computer-program files-sega then paste it will ask you to replace existing files say yes.
6:go into fm2012 file and click on game easy guys its 100% real. skidrow rock!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, for all who have the problem with (0000005) and etc... I solved this problem, like this:
1. Mount .iso and install
2. copy ONLY fm.exe from skidrow folder
3. then i downloaded the 12.0.3 version also from skidrow (about 68 Mb) and unpacked it
4. then just copy that patch crack (68 Mb file not 73)
5. Run the game
It worked for me, and i DON'T have Steam, and I just installed directX, and Framework I couldn't install 'cause I have different version etc...

Just in case any of you guy's missed it this is how I got the program to work without no hassle.
1. Mount img onto a virtual drive using UltraISO or deamon tools etc...
2. Install game and Direct X, NET Framework if needed from the img file.
2. Install 12.0.3 update
3. Now just replace the game fm.exe file with the crack from the SKIDROW folder on the img file and nothing else. Don't overwrite the steam_api.dll or the Steamclient.dll
Important
***Do not use the fm.exe supplied by the update***
***When replacing the fm.exe make sure to get rid of the original file don't keep both.***
The game runs with no bugs or dump reps, didn't have to worry about Steam, been playing now for hours, not running it in administration mode, don't even have to mount the img file to a virtual drive to play.
This works for me, hope mit works for you.

If I copy EVERYTHING in the crack folder over, the game loads up and then just a black screen appears with a white pointer in it that I can move but thats it. For those with the crash dump problem do not copy the SKIDROW game crack, install the SKIDROW update crack only. (The way you can tell it is going to work is that the original .exe should already be set to run as Administrator, when you copy the crack it should still be set to run as Admin)

i've done everything that has been suggested to get this to work. the game quits at the loading screen, so i replaced the crack fm.exe with the img version and the update 12.0.3 version and it doesnt even load anymore with either crack. this is not my first time installing a game from an ISO. anyone else got this problem or something similar?

okay, i've got the game to work on my laptop which has Win7 x64, but for some reason my desktop wont run it with XP SP3. I load task manager on xp and fm.exe is running in the processes but nothing is happening. game doesnt load and windows gets stuck after a while.

Heres what I done guys. Totally uninstalled EVERYTHING regarding FM2012, including Sports Interactive files in My Documents. Uninstalled Steam. Reinstalled FM by mounting ISO in Daemon tools. Installed update. Copied EVERYTHING from the crack folder (which you can download WITH the update) and pasted into the My computer-program files-sega-Football manager 2012...REPLACING files. It now works great.

I've got a problem with the DEP. It seems that FM12 needs to have DEP on, but I'm receiving errors about the DEP shutdown after I played for 5-10 minutes. Already tried opening as Admin or in XP SP2 compatibility. What should I do?

Hi guys,
I've got some problems running the game :(
I've been doing exactly as requested, here is what I've done so far :
1. Installed the game with Daemon Tool (no problem for that)
2. Copied ONLY the fm.exe which was in the SKIDROW file
When I then start the game, Steam is loging in, and the official FM2012 page appears, telling me to buy the game.
I don't know why it happens, as I've followed each and every step...
So then I tried to install the 12.03 update (I used the method described by TOMSK65 in page 14 of the comments here) :
1. Installed game and Direct X
2. Installed 12.0.3 update
3. Replaced the game fm.exe file with the crack from the SKIDROW folder on the img file and nothing else. Don't overwrite the steam_api.dll
Again, I successfully completed every step, but again STEAM is oppening when I try to run the game...
Could someone help me to solve this by explaining all the steps to avoid it ?

For those who still have that c0000005 (or however it's written) error :
You don't have to uninstall Steam to get rid of the problem, just rename the steam.exe file in the directory in which you have Steam installed into something else. e.g. steam.exe.bk , steam1.exe etc.

Okay everyone. i've tried 3 times to install, and 2 times it didn't work, but after that : YES ! So i will share the method.
I use VISTA on Acer PC.
1. Relax, it will work :)
2. ERASE every presence of previous Football Manager, Sega or Steam. Uninstall Steam. Delete Sports Interactive folder in your Documents. Delete Sega and Sports Interactive folders in ''Program Files''. Once you're TOTALLY free of these, step 3.
3. Mount the ISO image of FM 2012 and INSTALL the game.
4. Once the installation is done, COPY ONLY THE FILE ''fm.exe'' from SKIDROW folder. Don't take the other files. Juste ''fm.exe''.
5. PASTE this file in the ''C://Computer/Porgram files/Sega/Football Manager 2012.
6. Choose to REPLACE the file ''fm.exe''.
7. Launch the game by clicking the new ''fm.exe'' icon, and it HAS WORKED FOR ME !

hello guys.i install the game on my NETBOOK (processor intel@1.6Ghz, ram 1GB and GFX mobile_intel 945) and the game cant work (although in the task manager it seems to be working). Is there a possible configuration that i can do on my netbook in order to make it work (e.g. according to the site GameDebate, it says that setting a lower resolution on the screen may be beneficial, did it but still not working)???

If u dont get it right and get the error supapohn. first when u open the torrent thats downloaded. mount it, then go to same file and extract it and download. then follow.
1. delete the start file 12 FM and paste in copy from update.
2. copy the remaning three folders from update to fm12 in c: they will replace auto.
3. go to resource archiver and look for two files named - dotnetfx and #DXSETUP. Start both of them manually.
When done just go to your mount drive and hit auto run. :-)

If you install the game and it keeps exiting itself do this. I had the same problem for hours until i figured dis out. Only copy the fm.exe patch from the skidrow folder. Don't copy the rest. then run the game..

Issue with the Editor!!!!! I had the same problem and changing the info in the special folders didn't help me. This is what I did to get it working:
If you are having one of the following issues:
– When Loading Editor get error “Editor has stopped working”
– When loading the editor nothing happens
– The Editor crashes on launch
– You get Font errors on launching the editor

Please try steps below to fix your issue:
Step 1
Delete your cache and reload the editor.
How do I delete my Cache files?
First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.
Windows XP:
My Computer
‘Tools’
‘Folder Options’.
The go to the ‘View’ tab and select ‘Show hidden files and folders’
Windows Vista and Windows 7:
My Computer
‘Organize’
‘Folder and Search Options’.
The go to the ‘View’ tab and select ‘Show hidden files and folders’
Once this is done, follow the instructions below:
Windows XP:
1. Open “My Computer”
2. Navigate to : “Documents and Settings\\Application Data\
3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder.
4. Go to the “Editor 2012” Folder.
5. Delete the ‘cache’ Folder found inside here.
Windows Vista and Windows 7:
1. Click “Start”
2. Click your username on the start Menu
3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming”
4. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder
5. Go to the “Editor 2012” Folder.

here's the trick:
1. First, you need to unhide all hidden folders and files.
2. Then go to start -> your user name
3. there's a hidden folder call "AppData"
4. Click it -> Roaming -> Sports Interactive ->Editor 2012 ->DELETE the Cache folder
5. Launch Editor again, and it works!
IF, same problem occurs after you shut down your PC, repeat the same steps, and you can edit data anytime you want.

Ah, I forgot to add, I never updated the game, I just went ahead and played as is. I mounted the image, copied only the FM.exe from the crack folder into the installation folder, ran the FM.exe file from there and played. I also de-activated my anti virus etc during installation, but I doubt that helps anything. I'm playing just fine now using Vista 32 bit, not updated the game and have gfx on full etc.

Firstly, thanks extremezone the game works like a charm. It was a bit a tricky but i was able to install it.
Now for the people who cant start the editor. (idk why, some people have commented how to do it but i am going try my best)
Delete your cache file of the editor. To find the file:
1. Click “Start”
2. Click your username on the start Menu

5. Go to the “Editor 2012” Folder.

Or, Copy “special folders.xml” to the location where you installed the game on your hard drive. For example, for me it was C:/Program Files/SEGA/Football Manager 2012.

Once you have mounted the game to your drive you right click on the drive that has football manager loaded onto it then you press open then it will show the skidrow folder if you copy just the fm12 icon from that folder to where the game is installed then you should be able to play with no problems

To fix the "fm.exe application error" on startup
1. I uninstalled the game completely and then reinstalled
2. I then ONLY copied the "skidrow fm.exe file" to the installed directory
C:Program FilesSEGAFootball Manager 2012
3. In the installed directory right click on fm.exe file and create a shortcut on your desktop
4. Load the game from the new shortcut (delete the original shortcut from the installation)

ty extremezone. works like magic. im an advance noobs hahaha .its so easy to install. just follow my steps :
1)do not install while connecting to internet,so cut off all the connection to prevent failure installment (izit rite sentence?lol)
2)use daemon tools to mount iso file (google daemon tools and install it)>add image (FM2012) from the daemon tools apps >mount image
3)after finished>go to my computer>right-click & open the FM2012 logo from ROM drive > theres a file for the crack>copy it and replace it to your default folder which is usually in C:/program files/sega.that crack logo is 74.3 mb big.

Right, I am new to this shit. But I have the solution to the "closing after the badges" problem. I think. Right let's go. First I mounted the image in DAEMON tools. Yeah. Good. Then installed blah blah...when it was shutting off after the badges, this is how I fixed it. Right, I am new to this shit. But I have the solution to the "closing after the badges" problem. I think. Right let's go. First I mounted the image in DAEMON tools. Yeah. Good. Then installed blah blah...when it was shutting off after the badges, this is how I fixed it. Went to the "SKIDROW" folder (if you click the FM icon on the disc drive it will show the foler with like setup-1a and stuff). Copy them into the FM folder in your program files. Just replace and copy. Bobs your uncle!

EDITOR ISSUES.
If you are having one of the following issues:
- When Loading Editor get error “Editor has stopped working”
- When loading the editor nothing happens
- The Editor crashes on launch
- You get Font errors on launching the editor
- Get error “"You can't open the application Editor because it is not supported on this type of Mac"
Please try steps below to fix your issue:
Step 1
Delete your cache and reload the editor.
How do I delete my Cache files?
Windows
First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.
Windows XP:
My Computer
'Tools'
'Folder Options'.
The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'
Windows Vista and Windows 7:
My Computer
'Organize'
'Folder and Search Options'.
The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'
Once this is done, follow the instructions below:

1. Open “My Computer”
