This is a slimmed down version of Windows XP. It is really fast because it doesn't have a lot of the crap that usually bogs down Windows like Internet Explorer. Hey, does this version support usb internet connections?
My ethernet port is fried, so i'm using my usb port for internets, ....and the last 2 versions of windows i've downloaded could only get internet from the ethernet port.
I'm really hoping this works.

Yes the USB Connection things should work fine (Plug-In-Play, etc)

@dirkzen Far more likely you have a driver issue then for two previous XP downloads to have problems with USB. If you're using an OEM computer please let me know make and exact model. If home built, give me motherboard model # please. While I agree with the very well known fact that embedded network cards can and do go bad quite frequently ( usually the first thing to go on a motherboard ), I consider unlikely that the USB system would be non-functional on any of the presently available full size or near full size XP downloads. It would make no sense to disable it purposely.
