S.W.A.T. 4 + The Stetchkov Syndicate + Original EXE [English] Installation instructions present. SWAT 4 Install is a hacked setup, in Russian, but working. (Language can be changed in the third setup menu, read the .txt for further instructions) You do not need a serial or crack for this one. The Stetchkov Syndicate is NOT a hacked setup, but serial and cracks for both SWAT 4 v1.1. and TSS are included. Remember you need SWAT 4 installed to play! For clarification: *** I assume you all know how to use Daemon Tools or Alcohol or w/e, mount images with any version. *** 1) Unrar and install Swat 4. (Don't forget to change language, serial included in txt file.) 2) Do not start. 3) Go to (By default) c:/program files/swat4/content and replace the swat4.exe crack with the original .exe found in the torrent. (The russian setup has a crack built in) 4) Unrar expansion, mount and install. You need the original .exe in place to update to v1.1, in return needed to install expansion. 5) Replace the original install file(s) with the crack(s) in the expansion/crack folder. 6) If you haven't done so already, remove the temp folder where you unrar'd the images. The RAR files are slightly smaller in case you want to keep the game on your HD. 7) Play! ***In case you still get the Russian version, uninstall and try again. When i replaced the crack stuff, i replaced the files within the folders, but did not replace the entire folder, could that be the problem? Well, you could try actually reading the description of this torrent, or even the READ FIRST.txt in the torrent...
But, since you're obviously mentally disabled, I'll repeat; Setup is indeed in Russian, but you can change the language in the third setup screen to english.

Hmm I seem to have read it wrong, oops. Still, you most likely forgot to change the language in the initial SWAT 4 setup. Uninstall everything, manually delete the swat 4 folder, reinstall, and it should work.

Yes it works. I have added the original SWAT4.exe (Not the cracked) so you can replace your cracked version with the original, install the patch/expansion, and then put the crack for the expansion in place. =) I actually included the original .exe twice by mistake..

I did the patch and when first didn't work tried bunch of cracks to see if that's the problem, then re-install only expansion, no result, the removed everything and installed all over but still doesn't work. This is great game and i'd so like to play expansion too =P

Strange, not a problem I've encountered before. You're saying it won't finish the install? Maybe you could try stopping the setup.exe process (Press control alt del => Processes) after it freezes. It might have finished the install, but come across a problem while creating desktop icons for example. Cancelling the setup.exe process will quit the setup, but hopefully you'll be able to play the game. =)

Well. Alright then. Since I'm awesome n all! xD
First, Unrar the SWAT4 setup and the Expansion image. Just double click the swat 4 setup, specify a path to where you want to install (Or keep it on default) then like the instructions desribe; select english in the third setup screen, or you'll end up with a Russian installation.
Now, you could start SWAT 4 right away, or install the expansion. To open the image file, you'll need Daemon Tools (or similar) to create a virtual drive, and mount the image on it.
Because the SWAT 4 setup has a crack built in, and the expansion requires patch v1.1 to be installed, you'll need to put the original v1.0 .EXE (included in torrent) in the swat4/content map and replace the cracked .exe .
After you've done all this you should be able to patch to v1.1 and install the expansion. Cracks for the expansion are also included on the image. For beginners, you can access the virtual cd drive in 'My computer' just like any other drive.

Lmfao. Excuse me? Because YOU can't get it to work, this torrent sucks? For your information, this is the smallest torrent available including both Swat4 + expansion, AND original exe you need for patching either way. I specifically used the russian install because it's multilanguage, small, and works for 99.99% of people. I'm pretty sure the problem lies with your PC / OS, because I've installed it on more than one PC with no problems whatsoever. Also, both the installation AND patching goes correctly, so no errors are found by either Installshield or the SWAT 4 patch system. Besides, a black screen usually indicates a video card problem, IF you did everything as said in the description.
So please, don't spread false rumors. I put quite some effort into this torrent because I love this game, and I think everyone should play it. I'm sure you can agree that if lots of people comment on this torrents as fine and working, and it doesn't work for you, the problem is most likely not the torrent. I'll help you as best I can with any problems you may encounter, but bs'ing about my torrent because of your own disabilities is just not-done.

Hmm. Well. If I remember correctly there's either an option ingame to change cd key (but that might have been another game..) If not, you'll probably have to examine the windows registery (regedit) to manually change the CD-Key. Some research on google should tell you where to find it. Probably local machine/software/sierra/swat4 or something. Once you find that, finding and changing the cd-key shouldn't be too hard.

Did you even bother to read the instructions? Replace the crack with the original .exe, then mount the iso with Daemon tools or w.e, and install the 1.1 patch. After that, you can install the expansion. As you can see on the picture at the top of this screen (The screen you should get when you mount the .iso with daemon tools) the top button is 'Install SWAT 4 patch'
Don't tell me you tried to mount the RAR or the russian setup...

It took me to do this 2 times to understand it.
here is my suggest.
1. Unrar Swat 4 winrar go to that folder RUN setup.exe ( just in case you have vista right click and run as administatrion) It might take you a while to run.
2. Click next, and next but dont be hurry. When you see they asking for a chose for language, chose it if you like english drop down and select it.
3. Unrar Expansion Winrar open Original Swat 4 folder. Replace it with the one in your game for the C/Program Files/S.W.A.T.4/Constent/system
4. Use any program that you can mount your ISO file from Expansion folder. After that a installation window pop-up. Click patch it
6. The key is in a text file from Expansion folder.
7. After you patched it. Install that pop-up.
8. After that don't accept anything. Just close them.
9. The last important step is go to Expansion folder>Crack SWAT4 v1.1 + will be a Swat4x.exe replace it to C/Program Files/S.W.A.T.4/Constent/system

Don't mount the .rar, mount the .iso inside the .rar archive. I suggest using winRAR to unpack the iso into a temporary directory, then mounting the .iso with Daemon Tools or similar program. Be aware you cannot mount an image (in this case .iso) while it's still packed inside an archive. (in this case .rar)
After mounting, install the expansion and view the .iso contents using 'My computer'. You will find the crack on the disk.
Btw, I don't usually get pissed at people unless they act stupid. Not knowing how-to isn't a problem. =)

Umm Srry but there is no Iso. in the Zip file, I unpacked it too clicked on deamontools and there is no iso ?? i can only select the ZipFile
In that Zip file the \Expansion\ISO there are files like ''Autorun'' and ''Setup'' Am I in the wrong file or Am I just messing it all up??

OKay I Re-installed the Game
First SWAT 4 zip file i completed the Setup.Exe without starting the game
Then i Replaced it with The Original Exe (extracted it Fom zip File)
Replaced it with The SWAT 4 exe in the system map
Then urared the expansion And then i Got 3 Files ..... I think this is were i messed up , What do i have to install first : Crack SWAT4 v1.1 + Expansion / content/ system Then install that
Or Crack SWAT4 v1.1 + Expansion/contentexpansion/system and instal that ?
And then Mount Something I cant find The ISO in the iso File

1) Installed the regular .exe in SWAT4
2) Go to Expansion and then in the expansion folder replace orignal.exe with the one i installed in step 1

Lollll. Yeah, I accidentally placed the original .exe in the torrent twice...They're identical. You only need one. Here's a quick list:
1) Install SWAT4
2) Replace the .exe in the swat 4 installation folder with the original .exe
3) Unrar & mount the expansion iso (Not in winrar..) and just open the autorun if it doesn't already.
4) Simply attempt to install, if it detects your SWAT4 version to be 1.0 it'll patch automatically. Just make sure you've placed the original exe, or it'll come up with an error.
5) Replace the files in the swat4 folder with the cracks on the expansion .iso
6) Play!
* Note: In case you don't want to install the expansion, just the patch, you can select 'patch to 1.1' in the expansion autorun screen. I am pretty sure the SWAT4 1.1 crack (on the expansion .iso) will work either way, with or without the expansion.

@ warloard360; If I'm understanding correctly, you're trying to play SWAT4 under x86, I'm not quite sure this is possible. Try running swat4.exe under compatibility mode for x32. (aka winXP or such)

alrighty, so i did:
1) Installed SWAT 4 (and completed)
2) Put the original .exe from the folder labelled Original EXE and place it into Computer>Programs>SWAT4>Content>System and replaced it.
3)Went to the downloaded file>Expansion>ISO
4)Mounted Image and went to autorun and then clicked Install SWAT 4 Patch
5)Installed Succesfully SWAT 4 PATCH
6)In the Autorun, I clicked Install
7)Used key BYZ9-WUM3-MAD2-MUZ6-7566
8) Installed expansion
9)Went to Crack SWAT4v.1.1 + Expansion
10)Placed both Content and ContentExpansion into Programs>SWAT4 and replaced
11) Testing it out now, will it erase my saved data like the mission i successfully completed? Cuase i dont wana do those scary missions again

Have you tried reinstalling completely? Also, I did some research, the file swat4x.ini can be found here: X:\Program Files\Sierra\SWAT 4\ContentExpansion\System
If it's not in there, reinstall. If it is in there delete it.

Strange. It seems like the progs can find the file, but are unable to access it. This could have a number of causes.
*Corrupt file, which is unlikely (And winRAR would say so)
*A program still using the file (But this shouldn't be an issue either if it's read-only, like when you're seeding)
*A memory or HD capacity problem, which means you have insufficient space in either one (Try freeing up space on your harddrive or move the files to a diff one, and press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to check the amount of processes running. If you have too much running try shutting down programs you're not using)
* And any number of other causes I haven't thought of. Try restarting your pc, reinstalling WinRAR, check file sizes compared to what's posted in the description, etc. Go wild and let us know if/how you fixed it!

Calamy;nnWell. Daemon Tools or Alcohol or whatever are programs that create a virtual disk drive, on which you can \'mount\' (insert a virtual disk) to use it like you would use a normal CD/DVD. I suggest downloading Daemon Tools Lite, (just google it) then install it, and reset your pc. After that you can either create a virtual drive (right click on the icon in your system tray, virtual drives => add virtual drive) or when it already made a drive, right click on the icon, virtual devices => Device 0 => mount image.nnThen select the .iso file which is in the expansion.rar. (unpack first!)nnYou should now be able to use \'my computer\' to access your virtual drive with the mounted .iso like you would access any normal drive (Like C: or D:)nnHope this helps you enough ;]

Well. If you can't figure out how to install SWAT 4 with the instructions given here, you won't be able to install it with the legal version either. Lol.
Just doing the first step as described will already get you with a working english version (version 1.0) which has already been cracked automatically by the (Russian) setup. The rest of the description is for installing the patch and expansion. All you have to do is unrar, install, and play...

Lol...ESP, did you even read the description?
You need swat4.rar. That is the compressed setup file for swat 4. The .ISO is the expansion. You will have to have swat4 installed FIRST. unrar SWAT4.rar to a temp folder (or run the setup file from inside winrar) and install swat 4. The setup is in russian, but if you click the 'next' button twice, you see a drop down menu which is the language selector.

Well, 'no disk inserted' usually means you haven't placed the cracks located on the expansion.iso into your TSS installation folder...
As in the description; The SWAT 4 setup is hacked, it has a crack integrated, and therefor will work straight away after installation.
***If you want to install the expansion, first place the original swat4.exe from the torrent into your swat 4 installation folder. THEN install TSS. After that, place the TSS cracks from the .iso into your installation folder.***

That may be an issue with dual processors, it happened to me before with other games.
Try going to your task manager (Control+Alt+Escape), find swat4.exe in the process list, select affinity, and make sure only ONE processor is selected. Then try playing it again. The game is old enough, so it should be fine on only one processor.

Are you sure you followed all the steps correctly? Well you must have since TSS won't install without SWAT version 1.1.

Followed all instructions to a T, but the menu and all text in game is still in russian. Also it's in a really blocky font.

Disregard that, I figured out the problem. For those that are having the problem of all the menu options being in Russian:
After installing Swat4 and selecting english in the install wizard, DON'T copy the files from the "Add" folder that is in the rar with the swat4 install exe. That has all the files that replaces everything with russian.

TSS means The Stetchkov Syndicate which is the expansion pack for Swat4.
As for your save problem, I don't really know.. Maybe you have to run it as administrator, run in compatibility mode or just reinstall the whole thing. Otherwise you could try creating another profile ingame and try using that, it would 'force' swat4 to create a new save game folder.

I have a prob;em with TSS though, I installed everything okay but when i try to run TSS it says "Program cant start because ALaudio.dll is missing from your computer"
I see that the ALAudio is in my SWAT 4 folders and I also put one in my windows/system32 folder....

That usually means something went wrong in the installation. (Or directX)
I suggest reinstalling both, it'll most likely fix the issue.
Interesting detail: SWAT4 actually uses ALaudio.dll aswell. So if SWAT4 can run but TSS can't, it's most likely an issue relating to TSS.
You did replace the TSS start file with the crack on the ISO, right?

Yeah, SWAT 4 runs with no issue. I've tried re-installing both but no luck.
And I just replaced the cracked files in the Expansion folder with the installed ones. I'm on Windows 7...not sure if that causes an issue.

You'll have to delete the 'add' folder in the same folder where setup.exe is located. Some user (Read back in comments) found out that's the cause for the russian files. After which you'll have to reinstall again.

6.Open the now mounted image and run autorun.exe

It's not a bug I've encountered in SWAT 4 before, but yes, you can be quite certain it has either to do with your videocard or your directX installation.
Recommend updating videocard to latest driver, if problem persists, reinstall directx aswell. If all that fails, let me know. =)

If I recall correctly, I accidentally included a folder I shouldn't have. I'm not exactly sure which folder it is, but it's in the installation directory for swat4. I think it was called 'run' or something. Don't have the install on my pc now so I can't check, sorry. Anyway, if you remove that folder, it shouldn't install in russian anymore. (So I've been told in previous comments anyway!)

As I recall, there's an potential error in the Syndicate installer, you'll have to install swat 4 on it's default installation directory (c:/program files/sierra/swat4/ or something) and try reinstalling Syndicate.
It ofcourse could also mean you haven't replaced the cracked swat4.exe with the ORIGINAL EXE provided in the torrent. However you may get another error message for that, it's been a while since I've installed it.
Let us know if you get it functioning!

Hmm, doesn't seem to be working for me. Both SWAT 4.rar and Original exe.rar are shown as "corrupt" when trying to extract. Have tried downloading several times and also tried extracting with WinRAR as well as 7zip.
I do see the Setup.exe but after running it and choosing the language I get an error message that says "C:Program Files (x86)swat 4swat4_eng.exe (rest is in russian)" Probably missing some files because the extraction of the rar -files failed?

Thanks for the upload!! I have a slight problem though. I downloaded this exact torrent in 2009 and it worked perfectly. Then I downloaded it again a few days ago because I deleted it before. When I get to the part where I have to enter the stetchkov syndicate serial number, no matter what serial I try it says it is invalid. I have tried serials from all different sources. I also tried with and without blocking the set up in the firewall and still no luck. I am following all instructions precisely and I am entering the serial number correctly. I even tried entering it manually instead of copying it with no luck. I did have a previous version of swat installed but removed everything before I tried installing this one. Is the serial key left over in the registry from last install maybe? If so where? If not, Any ideas why it is saying its wrong? Thanks.

That's a good one. It's possible the cd key you used is still somewhere in your registry. Then again; Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?
If you want to delete the regkeys, open regedit and search (ctrl + f) for either swat4 or sierra.
Just try some stuff out and let us know if it works. =)

After some research (Read: Google) I have determined it's a problem with Installshield, which has most likely been corrupted. (It happens) Since this is a Windows integrated program, there might be some issues reinstalling it.

search for swat4.exe. Are you sure you installed the game in it's default directory or did you change the path? If you changed the path, the game will obviously not be installed in it's default position. Otherwise, try uninstalling the game and reinstalling?
