The series focuses on a recently divorced woman who reenters a dating scene filled with younger men while living with her 17-year old son and embarks on a journey to self-discovery while surrounded by fellow divorcees. The pilot episode of the show was broadcast after Modern Family on September 23, 2009, and currently airs on Wednesday nights at 9:30. On October 8, 2009, ABC officially gave the series a full-season pick-up.
