Description:

*** 2-pass encoding for PC, PS3 or Xbox . *** *** Video is H264; audio is AAC LC and container is MP4. *** NOTE: Quark is lepton. Quark encode has one goal: smallest footprint possible. Audio is Dual (two tracks). Many players does not support that. VLC and mplayer (-aid 1 or 2) do. First audio track is Main Movie audio, mixed languages. Second audio track is Commentary, English. English subtitles does not exist yet (just garbage one posted all over). REQUESTS ARE "FROZEN". "Home" of my torrents (for Bookmark/Favorites in your browser) http://thepiratebay.se/user/twentyforty "I am disillusioned enough to know that no man's opinion on any subject is worth a damn unless backed up with enough genuine information to make him really know what he's talking about." - HP Lovecraft "When you do not know what you are doing and what you are doing is the best - that is inspiration." - R Bresson Requests (or re-seed requests) should be posted in [COMMENTS] section of newest torrents. Re-seed request should contain exact time and time-zone you're in. Re-seed time-window is 1 (maybe 2) hours because server-time is expensive and seeding speed is above 1 Gbps. If you have slow connection, just forget about old, dead torrents. Re-seed chances are good for single torrents whithin the week of original day of upping. Chances for re-seed of torrents older than week are slim to none. "Out of schedule" shows or pilot-episodes may get uploaded randomly, if circumstances allow (i.e. free slots open up). Do NOT bother requesting easily available titles. If I haven't encoded something new and current - I have my reasons for that. Do NOT request movies which have IMDB score lower than 4.4. Do NOT request inclusion of TV shows in my schedule; that's my call. The removal of some show depends on many factors, however, be sure that shows would be dropped if I spot lack of interest, hungry hard-fisting crowd or too high a number of Hit and Runs. These decisions are my own. My "regulars" can reach me at [email protected] /* */ (put your TPB screen-name in subject-line of e-mail). NOTE: [lepton] family = frame-size 368-624 width x -2 (depends on AR) pixels, 16:9 or 2.35:1 aspect ratio ONLY for PC/PS3/Xbox/standalone mp4 capable players. NOT Handhelds/iPod/PSP/Zune/clones compatible file, however, some portables accept these format (TIP: upgrade firmware). WATCH from 6-8 ft. distance at low-res settings of display. 272p = frame-size 480x272 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio, playable on all kinds of MP4 capable devices/players/playback systems 320p = frame-size 576x320 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio, or 576x240 for 2.35:1 (movies/theatrical AR)middle-format, playback ONLY on PC/PS3/Xbox/standalone mp4 capable players. NOT Handhelds/iPod/PSP/Zune/clones compatible file, however, some portables accept these format (TIP: upgrade firmware). 352p = frame-size 624x352(272) pixels, 16:9(2.35:1) aspect ratio, playback ONLY on PC/PS3/Xbox/standalone mp4 capable players. NOT Handhelds/iPod/QuickTime/PSP/Zune/clones compatible file. 360p = frame-size 640x360 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio, middle-format, playback as for 272p (except streaming) 480p = frame-size 704x400 pixels for 16:9 aspect ratio (TV) or 704x304 for 2.35:1 (movies/theatrical AR) NOT Handhelds/iPod/QuickTime/PSP/Zune/clones compatible file. 720p = for 16:9 aspect ratio (TV and movies) frame-size is 640p or 1120x640 (because of my own limit of 1400 MB per encode) or 1216x528-544 pixels for 2.35:1 (movies/theatrical AR), hardware intensive NOT Handhelds/iPod/QuickTime/PSP/Zune/clones compatible file. Official 1280x720 frame-size is - simple - and - plain - WRONG. 90% of encodes follow that wrong "standard" for years, what leads to unimaginable volume of "squashed" objects and people. Look any circular, well known object, not people, because human eyes can easily be tricked. Look at examples 1280x720 http://bayimg.com/PaEOfaADH and my 1216x720 (I go even as "low" as 704 pixels, if needed. http://bayimg.com/pAEoHaadh Use own eyes, please. NAMING RULE: name.source.year/season/episode.frame-format.encoding-type NOTE 2: 352p and 480p encodes use new tool-chain and new encoding type. 320p, 360p should be considered obsolete. 272p would remain because of compatibility with portables, but soon would be abandoned. Practically, ALL "wide-targets formats" would be abandoned, and only PC-PS3-Xbox formats would be encoded. I would like to keep PS3/Xbox/standalones compatibility - therefore, I need feedback from users of PS3/Xbox and different standalone MP4 capable players.

I thought you were not going to upload this movie, and now you did. May be I miss-understood.
Thanks for the up .. and 20-40 plz tell me the settings sent you mail.

bender1110 (2011-03-29)

thx - but half the movie is in Portuguese and no english subs available yet?

 twentyforty (2011-03-29)

READ Bender.

Ataractic (2011-03-29)

Awesomeness. Thanks!

bender1110 (2011-03-29)

I did read - try not to take everything personally. It was just a comment for other people wanting to download this and not knowing that half the movie is not in english. All you wrote is "mixed languages"

cazo_lo (2011-03-29)

hi twentyforty, thanks for the very good work and lots of the fine pieces. one more thanks for the wishes you allways has realized.
So I will bring mine too you're attention. Please make it possible that you can bring the "The Animatrix in a smal format like H264 352p with english audio and subtitelt (better for my Google english)" and cut it into his 9 pieces - can you do this?

 twentyforty (2011-03-29)

Again - personally: "READ Bender."
HINT: Top of the page:
Spoken language(s):English, Portugese
Texted language(s):Italian, Portugese
Languages are lined-up by alphabetical order (by site, not by me).
Beside, it's like grabbing the box of cereals in supermarket with "No artificial sugar added" written in big letters, and screaming all over the place:
"People! Be warned! There is no artificial sugar in this"!
When someone say: "We know. We CAN READ." he could continue or say "Sorry. I didn't know" or continue... what's gonna be it's up to decisions he made, not the others.

 twentyforty (2011-03-29)

@hakuna_matata: 10 hours and my Inbox is empty. Are you sure that you sent e-mail and not the letter? lol

 twentyforty (2011-03-29)

@cazo_lo: Yes, I can. Are you sure about cutting "in 9 pieces", tough? It would make encode repulsive to many people.
That sort of things are in user-domain, so, you should so it. Anyone can:
mp4box -splitx
start_time_of_segment:end_time_of_segment
movie.mp4
or
mp4box -splits seconds_in_each_segment movie.mp4
eq. mp4box -splitx 60:120 movie.mp4 would extract one segment 60 seconds long starting on one minute and ending on two minute mark
or
eg. mp4box -splits 120 movie.mp4 would divide
movie.mp4 in two minute long segments (or long as one wants).
Program MP4BOX is Swiss-Army-knife for mp4, free, open-source and is available for Windows, Linux, Mac and few more OS. Just Google.
Next time, please, post the link in request, as
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328832/

 twentyforty (2011-03-29)

@cazo_lo: ERR. so it = do it
Sorry.

Kencoldman (2011-03-29)

Helo, thanks for all you do are you going or did you already up the animatrix http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328832/
that looks interesting.

 twentyforty (2011-03-29)

Sorry, another error, just discovered.
The flags for splitting are:
- split seconds
- splits size (in kb)
- splitx Starttime:Endtime (in seconds)
So, instead of -splits 60 (what would split/divide input file in gazillion 60 kb segments , use -split instead (and how much each segment should be long, in seconds)
-splits 716800 would divide/split input in 700 MB segments. Well, stuff for calculators.

t.trikiti (2011-03-29)

I bow my knees in front of you for this incredible upload. Ayrton Senna far far the best F1 "car" driver.

 twentyforty (2011-03-29)

@t.trikiti: I have BluRay for three days, and I was waiting for English subtitles, what was discussed yesterday. Seeing many rips - XviD of 2.9 GB! then few x264 then small XviD of "just" 800 MB (624x320 as this one) I have seen what would happen regarding the people on crappy connections or allowance - and decided not to release my "classical" 480p rip - but as this extra-small [quark]. Some people would object quality, but on CRT monitors or TV quark looks almost perfect (regarding the input BluRay produced well below the standards).
As I said like gazillion times:m "Any fool can make 2 Giga-sized nice rip.".
Thank you for recognizing that my work is worth of troubles and absolutely the same for [quark] as for 720p, for example.
