Read the short story by Clive Barker in Books of Blood I.
Gory but with far better plot so doesn't seem so much like tasteless attention grabbing nonsense.
Obviously prefered the book but worth having this film in my collection so long as I don't have to spend a penny on it!
I'll save that for Barkers books.
For those of you who want a taste before investing, this is a torrent of Barker's better known works.
