What's the password for root? Thanks.OpenSci (2010-11-16)
The default user "ubuntu" has root access. To execute a command as root, login to the "ubuntu" and use the "sudo" command for example:sudo apt-get update
Then enter the "ubuntu" password which is also "ubuntu".
To login as root use:
sudo -i
