I just want to say thank you jwhitt62. Keep up the great work. I would love to seed more, but I work from home and I need the BW at times.jwhitt62 (2008-10-11)
Datjet, I record all my shows off the internet. All these shows include commercials and newsbreaks. Each takes me about 15 minutes to edit, create the torrent and upload the torrent to the net. I record 15 shows every day during the week and two on the weekend.Saying all that, I wish I had time to edit all the shows but I don't. I choose the show that a) I like the best and b) are the most popular. Example, Dennis Miller. I don't usually listen to him myself, but he is one of the most popular of the 15 I upload.
Sistromo: I request that you give examples of each of your charges, or please, do not post here anymore. I wish this torrent to have intelligent, mature debate, yours are neither. Please grow up or leave. Thanks.

Thanks for all of your efforts, Jwhitt.Radio has become a passion of mine and I have even been considering some sort of career involved with it. Your posts have been of great value for me.
It would be interesting to see how many people have decided to get DMZ or 24/7 memberships because they were able to sample the shows essentially on-demand and commercial-free.
Also, Did you catch Neal mentioning a jump in his book sales recently, too? :)

Thanks for all your help and support, Mule. That's cool that you're thinking about going into radio. Radio does sound exciting. And, no, I didn't hear that Neal's book sales are up. That's fantastic. It's a great book. He sold me on the idea.
I record Neal's show in the evening while I'm working and upload it when I get home. I have been listening to him more and more lately. He is very good, an obvious pro.

Its hilarious when someone phones into argue or match wits with a seasoned veteran like Neal or Rush. The "Republican for Obama" today was pretty amusing, if alarming.I find Rush is often surprisingly gentle with such callers, but Neal cuts em down like a lightsaber through a jawa. Kind of a "Hate the sin, love the sinner" versus a "Stupidity must be destroyed" contrast.
Just imagine the results if Neal could possess the Mind and Body of John McCain for the third debate like he recently joked about.

As for broadcasting, developments in podcasting, "citizen journalism", bittorent and other technologies have opened up a lot of rich possibilities.I believe libertarianism (distinct from libertinism as it is often equated with by some people) is a vital perspective that needs serious advocacy. Especially up here on my side of the border.
I may be voting Conservative, but I am no Tory. The Conservative party is still dominated by Tory traditionalism and I have no use for the monarchy or national bilingualism.
