Thank you SO much! It's such a good quality plus the spoken language is english AND has subtitles. By the way, can you turn them off? I tried but couldn't.

Of course you can turn them off! Using VLC (http://videolan.org), simply go to the Video menu, then Subtitles, and click Disable. In VLC the subtitles should be disabled by default. Enjoy!

Alright, with MPC go to View -> Options and then on the left hand side under Playback you should see Output. Click there. On the right make sure VMR9 (renderless)** is selected and then press OK. Close the video and re-open it with MPC. Go to Play -> Subtitles and if Enable is checked, click it to disable the subtitles.

It won't let me click subtitles, it's like you can't select it because it's faded. It used to but now it won't let me & when I tried to uncheck it, the subtitles would still appear but thanks for the reply. It's not like I really care, I just wanted to know. =]

I downloaded this file..converted to .AVI and tried it out. The file ran but it was only audio? No visuals at all...anybody else run into this problem? And if so if you could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

I use Matroska (MKV) because people have different viewing habits. Some people like watching anime with English audio, others with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Matroska is capable of allowing both of those. You can easily extract the video and audio, then remux them as an AVI using something like avidemux. Before you complain, "OMG THIS DOESN'T WORK ONT HE PS3!!," please consider my audience and whether or not I intended it to work on the PS3. The answer is: no, I did not.
