is there some reason that after i've downloaded this that there is no sound. the .avi files i usually get from ya'll are the bomb. but for some reason they don't work. my girl "needs" to have this. and if not, an alternate? please?

Depending on what you're using (Mac or PC) then you'll likely want to download either Perian or K-Lite codec packages, respectively. That will take care of the problem. Cheers :)
