The iPod Touch 2.1.1 Firmware Restore image (.ipsw) FOR SECOND GEN How to use: 1. get latest release of iTunes 2. Plug in Ipod touch 3. In iTunes, under the iPod's summary tab - Hold the 'shift' key and press the 'restore' button 4. find where you downloaded the firmware and iTunes will use it to restore your ipod to that version.

Thanks a lot, I had some problems to restore iPod Touch 2nd generation with iTunes. It was impossible because I downloaded with iTunes ver 2.1.1 and it doesn't want install it. After that I downloaded this torrent, and works perfectly.
I was at Apple Store, and it was horrible....
They wanted that I'll pay a lot of money for this problem.
