CIMARRON STRIP - The Battleground ( series pilot )

Although CBS aired this as the fourth episode, it's actually the pilot -- told in flashback by Dulcey Coopersmith when she first came to Cimarron City to take over her late father's restaurant / saloon. Leonard Freeman was the original producer just for this episode, months before he started to develop Hawaii Five-O for the network. Guest Stars Telly Savalas, Warren Oates, R.G. Armstrong, Andrew Duggan (first of 3 episodes as Major Ben Covington) Robert Wilke, Hal Needham, and Seymour Cassel.
