Okay everything was going fine until i started up the game and it asked me to create a profile i typed in a name and pressed create but it didnt create the profile. So basically i cant create a profile and therefore cant play the game. any suggestions on how to fix this or surpass the profile creation. After you have un-rarred all the small rar files into one big rar file, you have to use Deamon tools to mount that big rar file to install the game. If you try to unrar the big rar file you get a "file corrupted etc" error which had me stumped for quite a bit aswell.

Ya thanks shadax 101 i did that and now the game works but i wont let me online it come up with a message about cd authentication. Im not a huge online player since i mostly play skirmishes but if anyone knows a way to get around that please let me know.

popo009 when you finish downloading the torrent file and open it up you will see a bunch of winrar files in it. extract everything in that file to a folder on your desktop or wherever then open up that folder and you will see a big winrar file in it that is 4.29 gigabytes. You need to mount that file using deamon tools then the installation process should run automatically.

I have used daemon tools to install the game, however when I try and start it I receive a "please insert correct disk" message, even when I mount the image through daemon tools.
Could the problem be that the image is on an external drive?
I also tried mounting it on the same virtual drive (e:) that I reserved for "dark crusade", but it still is giving me the error...

Palgolak you need to extract the crack into the DoW soulstorm directory before it will let you play. after that it shouldn't ask you for the disk anymore.

Thanks for the rersponse, gamedude711, but I am unsure what crack you are referring to.
When I unRAR the files, it creates a single image named rld-dwss.iso. After the game is installed, I still don't seem anything in the soulstorm directory that appears to be a crack.
Help!

The crack is in the image file propably. When u mount the image file you must go to My Computer and open the image file.
There should be a folder named something custom and the crack inside there.
It's usually so.

I don't think the image can be browsed, though, as you suggest.
Surely someone has encountered a similar problem, since we are all dealing with the same image torrent!

It works as SirloinzZz has suggested. When you mount the image it will appear in "My Computer" as a regular disk drive. If u browse the files on this "disk" you will find a folder named crack.

You need to have the following volume: rld-dwss.r00
insert a disk with this volume and press "OK" to continue or press blah blah blah

the first time i downloaded soulstorm everything ran smoothly untill i booted the game up where i got to the main screen where is asks for 'imperial registration' then it glitched because my vista protector asked my weather i wanted to allow the program soulstorm or not. i clicked allow and then returned to the resgistration screen where the game glitched and then soulstorm closed itself down. now everytime i open the game it gets asfar as the registration screen and stops and closes itself down. tryed uninstall, reinstall, even different version of the torrent i downloaded did the same thing when i opened it

HELP! I finished installing the game, but now im stuck, i dont know what to do after this, it keeps saying, "Wrong disk inserted. Please insert the CD/DVD." I know the instructions say to "Copy the cracked executable over from the Crack directory on the DVD to
