Cam rips can quickly appear online after the first preview or première of the film. R5 (Region 5): The R5 Line is a retail DVD from region 5. Region 5 consists of Eastern Europe (Former Soviet Union), Indian subcontinent, Africa, North Korea, and Mongolia. They take the information from the DVD disc and sync it to an English version of the film, usually a previously released version. Which means that the sound often isn't as good as DVDRips.
SCREENER: These are early DVD or VHS releases of the theatrical version of a film, typically sent to movie reviewers, Academy members, and executives for review purposes. I pity the poor suckers who paid $10 to watch this movie in the theatres. The whole movie is filmed using a jerky cameraphone which elicits vomiting and seisures by some viewers. The dialogue consists of: Robby? Robby? Robby? Robby? Are you ok? Are you ok? Robby? Robby? Robby? Robby? Are you ok? Robby? Robby? Are you ok? Marianna? Mairanna? Are you ok? Are you ok? Movie should be viewed in the cinema, you will love it. A blurry cam isn't satisfying, and nobody mentions the amazin sound of this movie which was a huge plus if you ask me. The bass you feel when the monster attacks for the first time is just amazin.. And the fascinating feeling just gets better in the course of the movie.

THE POINT of the 'handycam' view is immersion - to make you feel as though you are there, thus aiding in the "supsension of disbelief". Whereas I'm not saying Balir Witch was a great film, can you imagine an "americanised for the masses" version? Bigger budget, more effects, steadycam shots? That's right - Jeepers Creepers, and that fucking sucked.
From the trailer, it was pretty obvious to me that this was a 'handycam-style' film. If it wasn't obvious to you, perhaps you require spoon-feeding during trailers as well.
It's illegal to kill people like you. But sometimes I'm tempted to just take the safety labels off things and just let nature sort you out.

The film makers wanted to keep it as real as possible when it came to the shots, and since it was filmed on a budget of 25-30Mil and made all that back on first night it was released says something.
The camera looks down cause OMG guess what you do when your running your ass off from something thats eating people? Are you going to take the time to point the camera? hm? Since it was being based on realism and not just a film about you seeing the monster, it was made so that those people would not always be next to that creature, which would of been lame if it were. Now i did wish to see better shots of it too so dont get me wrong, but im not going to say it sucks and that blair witch was better or stupid shit like that. The film is Americas answer to Godzilla, and was shot to be as real as possible to give you the feeling that the film you were watching was real.

I have watched this movie at the cinema.. and I really wouldn't suggest paying for it.. I felt genuinely sick through most of the film because of the camera moving around, and on a couple of the scenes there is this flashing light which is really unpleasant.. download this movie.. as it is worth downloading.. but paying for it isnt. For starters it is really short, and there isn't a very good storyline.. the monster isn't scary and you really wont care whether the characters live or die..

To all the people who posted bad comments about this movie... i loved this movie, and no i did not like blair witch project, id rather eat dog hsit than watch blair witch project again. the only thing that kills this movie, is the ending.overall this movie is great, but i wish they made a better ending for it, even tho i think its pretty much realistic, cause in real life nobody would have survived anyways. (not saying that it would happen lol)
as for the torrent... id say do not download it. the movie itself looks like a telesync (because of the shaky camera). and since its a telesync, it makes the quality even more shitty. wait for a dvd rip to buy this.

yeah in the movie it reads @ April 27th/08. In the move when they are talking they speak of it happening @ May 22nd/08. Good movie. Great way of filming it. my vote is 9.5/10 and great audio and video can do a little better but its a cam...still worth watching!! Thanks for the upload!
