Maybe I should count up all my probs at once? :
1.The level(s) load dang slow, and the at site mentioned before with all the download-thingies I don't get the instructions. I can't find those files etc...
2. Which one of the "thingies" should I use to make the game at least playable? Cus' I've tried some of them, and the graphics are still crappy, though I put the settings on what they recommend me to.
How the graphics look: Sometimes the water turn all white in the beginning, like when that plane rubble start burning. The partikels, I guess they are called that? Anyway, if I'm wrong on that one, the... Well, almost everything isn't really "smooth"... Err... Don't know how to explain... Well, where it should be shadows it is all black, and small pixel-like thingys... Gosh, I wish i were better at english :P

What you do is read the instructions... aka
1. Use google.
2. Get the program winrar.
3. Double Click the .rar files that came in the DL to extract them somewhere/anywhere on your computer.
4. Go to C:/Where ever you just extracted those files to/Bioshock/Builds/Release/Bioshock.exe to install the game.
5. Play the game.
To all the people having problems, I don't know what to tell you. It works fine for me. I even downloaded it to make sure. I have heard of people having problems though. Search around www.suprbay.org or start a thread. These guys can help you. Unfortunately, I have no clue since mine works just fine.

Sefus- I have been checking the downloads on that site before, and indeed it seemed pretty good. I tried a few of them, and the graphics at least got better. There is nothing wrong with the water and fire in the beginning... But while beneath the surface all the objects you see leave "shadow" behind them when they move, and they all seem a bit green-blueish.
And when you see the sky, you notice that it doesn't look too good, the clouds aren't "smooth in the edges" and stuff.
Then when you walk onto the lighthouse... All shadows are completely black, and you see weird black spots at the edges of the black areas, pixel-like thingys, like the sky outside. Then some things are messed up, lights are... I don't know how to describe it...
Uh... I think I'll shut up now, see you...

My gameplay works great, (thought the sound "barrier" problem was easily solved by just reading subtitles)\
my game gets stuck every time i want to go to the 1st lever (loading the city Rapture).
my windows says that bioshock got stuck, and that a message will be send when te problem can be solved (yeah right.. like they ever do that) but the main problem is: i can't play the rest of bioshock now :S
what, or where can the problem be?

Sorry everyone. My hard drive busted and I didn't have a backup of this one. Sorry. :( For those that call me a stealer... For a few months (durring which time I dl'd this game) I was very new at all this bit torrent stuff. I didn't know about the etiquette or that anyone would even see it. Much less download it. HOW TO MAKE THE SOUND / AUDIO WORK (for those with sound issues, not all of you have them):

for me, the enabling of "stereo mix" did the trick, in control panel -> sound -> recording devices (must see the disabled devices too). i can now ENJOY THE GAME WITH AUDIO, once again after 4 years, that's when i finished the game the first time.

Hello, i'm totally stoked about this game!! And i download it and that worked great. Loaded it, and it seems to run great! but i get to the menu screen, and i have no control!! no mouse, and i can't use the keyboard. the only thing that i can do is push the esc key and it asks if i want to exit or not, but then i can't exit the game :s i have to exit it by pushing ctrl, alt, del. any ideas??

I've been playing this game for 2-3 hours now and it has worked great so far. The only thing I've noticed that's wrong with it is when I go to hack a machine the game will sometimes freeze for 1-2 seconds while uncovering the tiles in the minigame. It only happens once during each mini game and it doesn't happen every time, but it's hardly an issue.

Works Well On Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit (Just fix the Sound this way)
Go to the Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Manage Audio Devices, and select the Recording tab.
Next, right click the empty space below the installed devices and check Show Disabled Devices.
The Stereo Mix should appear. Right click on the icon and enable it. Then, click on OK to close the window and then close the Control Panel.

Unfortunately this is ver 1.0 and has the Langford Safe glitch ... once you get to that point in the game you can't go ANY FURTHER cause Langford's safe is EMPTY !!! A search for the solution found that updating to version 1.1 fixes the glitch, but this copy can't be patched !! :-/

For anyone who gets the safe glitch, it IS possible to get past this part. You are going to pretty much skip that whole area. If im not mistaken you dont really miss out on much loot so its fine. Anyway Find and open "defuser.ini" in your BioShock installation folder. Then bind "Teleport" to something like F10 for example "F10=teleport". Usething this cause you to teleport to your crosshair. Now reload that chapter and right when you walk into the main area a door on the right closes you have to teleport through it before it does. Enjoy finishing the rest of the game.

I found a 1.1 patch with a new cracked EXE that fixes the Langford Safe glitch !!! Get it HERE:

!!! Install notes:
1. If you don't want the patch to spend five minutes searching all your hard drives for BioShock, put patch executable into BioShock folder.
2. If you are using cracked version, some files will have wrong checksums and therefore patch will skip them, reporting an error. This is normal, since you will overwrite them with cracked ones anyway.

The Update found one file that didn't match and skipped it ( it was the cracked Bioshock.EXE ) but all others it patched and I ran the game and got through the Langford's office section so I can verify that this patch works !!!

Do Not disregard my previous comment. -___- Binding "Teleport" works fine and you dont have to patch your game. I have tested it.Google "Bioshock cheats pc" and go to the CheatCC link. This will again explain how to bind the key, then just read my previous comment. BTW these ini cheats dont work if you have updated the game. Enjoy and have fun beating the game. It's awesome.

Also just Google "Bioshock safe glitch teleport" and there are several forums that discuss it and they ALL mention that this works.
@Pauper01, It doesn't work for you because you have the patched/upgraded version of the game.

@Pauper01, -____- I am not talking about a plasmid at all. I am talking about binding a "console command" such as "god", "givehealth", "TELEPORT", "killpawns", Lol "killpawns" is fun. I had the original version before too and binding any of these works. You must have done something wrong. If i really HAVE to I'll download this version and do it again and record it.
I admit your patch that you posted may work, but this is another method without having to download more files.
