It's a result of the game trying to connect to the internet to try and download the patch. Just disable/unplug your internet, start the game get to the menu, renable/plugin your internet and it'll work fine.

I've got this very weird problem, i have used cracks and all that before, so i know how to use em: first time installed the game: extracted succesfully, mounted with poweriso, autorun pops up, asks for serial, entered a good serial, installed succesfully, i copied over everything whats in the crack directory exept of the keygen, as well for the fix. btw, it exists of a grass.tga file, copy it in both the normal install directory AND the data directory? i did so at least. then i launched, enjoyed the intro and all that, menu pops up for creating new user, i do so, another popup about online tab or anything, i click don't show again, i click ok, my game freezes, but the music goes on, i can't alt-tab, windowsbutton doesnt work, if i ctraltdel then i see its loading it but nothing happens, i reboot and try to launch again, it says there isnt any language package installed?! i reinstall, this time i never get to see the menu, just a black screen with the ra3 star in the upper right, i even reinstalled again, same problem. It can't be my pc, unless not the hardware (new system of 1 month; q6600,4gigram,hd4850) so wtff??? anyone has a solution?

If you get the black screen with the star in the corner it's because the game is trying to connect to the update server. Just d/c your internet while starting up the game, then alt+tab after getting to the menu and reconnect.

Is anyone out there having the same problems me? I have mounted the installed the game and applied the crack to the game directory.
When I run the game tho, I get the launcher screen and the game loads into a black screen. Then I get pushed back to the windows desktop with a message saying ?red alert 3 has stopped working?

3. I try to run the game and it asks for registration key which when entered is incorrect.

Okay guys obviously a lot of ppl want this game, it took me 24hours to download, but it's worth the wait. Now I tried this on XP,vista 32bit and 64 bit it all works here are step by step instructions.
Download the torrent
Unzip
Mount or burn to disk (however I tried just clicking the autorun and that seems to work XD)
Go to the folder named "Crack"
U'll see an exe, click it and a keygen will popup
Click generate, copy the code
Mount/click install on the autorun
insert the key
install the game, BUT AFTER IT IS DONE INSTALLING CHECK OFF "DOWNLOAD EA DOWNLOAD MANAGER"
Do not patch the game
Go into the crack folder and copy it to the installed directory
Now the game will run, but it will freeze and turn up a black screen
Download the fix, and unzip it, u should have 3 things, copy those 3 things into the data folder of ur installation
Click the game and it will again give u a black screen, but if u wait 15-20 seconds it will run like normal.
Also if at any time u get the registration code u copied the crack incorrectly, DO NOT JUST DRAG THE CRACK FOLDER INTO THE INSTALL DIRECTORY =P if that doesnt work reinstall game.

I was making the mistake of copying the whole crack folder.
what i had to do was to select the files in the crack folder and just copy them into your data folder which is under C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Red Alert 3 by default. this time it didnt ask me for the 2nd registration and the game worked. Alright of a game but overhyped.

right i have a question this download files 6.21 gig plus to install its about 3 .5 gig thats about 10 gig i use daemon tools to mount this but this is taking up to much harddrive space is it possible to burn the ISO image to a blank dvd+r dual layer

been d/ling crackd games 4 yrs, C&C 3 Tib Wars, RA 2, Renegade.I wld consider myself an experienced gamer who NEVER buys the game b4 d/ling it 4free here 1st (u buy the game for the co-op/online/tourny play access it provides).
This is quite simply a botch job by Reloaded/ICTORRENTS, not only is the crack itself fcukd (crashing early in each campaign), but the install instructions are bs. Newsflash assh*le, noobs havn't a clue what a crack looks like u need2 write a specific step-by-step. Same goes for Daemon.
Nor do many of them know the location of a game dir (eg. c:/program files/EA/RA3) or how to access the crack dir on a Daemon image. Again all u need to do is write a SIMPLE step-by-step guide - jeez u went to the trouble of trying to make a crack why not do the same for install guide.
Lastly the d/l speed. My upload is shitfuckin hot 500Kbps I'll seed this dysfunctional mofo for 3 WEEKS, but u don't deserve it RELOADED you need to put in some work.
If ur thinking about d/ling this monster, think twice, it was crackd by a noob who needs more practice.

if you are having trouble with the crack files just remember not to drag these copy them that is very important
1. get grass / reloaded and the rld-ra3fx.sfv files
2. copy all 3 of these to the harddrive / programe files / Electronic Arts / Ra3 / Data
3. paste the 3 files here
restart game this will fix as the guy said on top black screen with star in the right corner and should fix the 7th mission in the soviet campaign
i havent played the other campaigns yet so i cant tell you if it works but it definatly works on the 7th mission on soviet campaign
I hope this will solve those who are having problems with quit to desktop after certain missions and game wont start if internet is connected BY THE WAY RA3 ROCKS

Also to tankfly: If it wasn't for RGs like Reloaded you wouldn't have anything to download at all. If they're so useless and you can do a better job; then let's see some evidence. Reloaded are a scene RG anyway; therefore they hate noobs and would probably be much happier if said noobs weren't able to download their releases at all, so I wouldn't expect their .nfo to hold any hands!
Secondly it's really not that complicated to get it working anyway. The instructions are there, and they are repeated in even more detail on this site. If you can't even identify a directory, then either take a basic computing course or go buy the damn thing. :-p

i didn't find any uninstall ikon so i deleted the folder (or what it's called. Im swedish so i don't know ;) and now the install wont work and the auto run thinks the game is installed...

I installed everything and it worked, but then it automaticaly (?) installed a upgrade after i changed the resolution.
It then asks for another reg-key un startup.
I had to reinstall, so I deletet it. But now it wont run! Neither autrun, nor any other executable will start. Tried restarting, remounting, nothing!

Ok, so the game works fine. But its really strange that it takes like 20-30 seconds to enter the main menu. Like, if I run the game, or I go back to the main menu, it take so long to load it.
And my specs are ok.
Another strange thing is I can't change anything in the graphics options. Like changing the resoluation, AA. The screen turns black, and crashes.

You guys apparently don't read. If you look in the list of red alert 3 torrents, you'll see "Reloded - fix".
This fixes that issue. Also, there is a "bug" (That is believed to be placed there by the devs just like the mission crash bug) that selects all your units at random and sends them back to your con yard. These two bugs were placed to "punish" pirates.
Although, im sure someone will find a fix for that bug as well.

Just unrar one of those files, and it will extract all of them--they're all pieces of the same file. All you need do is open one of them and extract the files--it'll unrar all of them.

So, I followed all the directions, got everything installed, installed the crack, got the updated crack, installed that one, got the game running, ignored the updater, and started playing the game.
Ten minutes later, my screen went black, and my monitor was receiving no signal. A few seconds later, blue screen of death.
So, I reboot, reinstall directx, reinstall my video drivers, and try again. Once again, no signal error, and this time I reboot my computer before the system fails again.
Now, I have 8 gigs of ram, a 2.8 ghz quad core, and a nvidia 280 graphics card. I'm running everything on high, (not even highest, just high), and 4x anti-aliasing. What the fuck is going on? Anyone else having a similar problem?

Yes this version of the game does have the skirmish mode. For tomasgi I guess you should double check that you downloaded ALL of the torrent because mine unrared and wasn't corrupted. The instructions are in the .info file that unrars with the ISO. The keygen and crack are in the DVD just right click and go to explore to find it. My game started on the low settings and didn't have any problems maybe your video card isn't supported TheGoiswin

The icons gets higlighted as if the pointer is there but i cant se it, anybody had this problem ?

Re: Mouse pointer not appearing - I don't know if this will help, but I had a similar problem with another game a while back, and the solution to that was to go into 'Control Panel' > 'Mouse' > 'Pointers' and set the pointer scheme to 'Windows Default'. Also, try removing pointer trails and all that other stuff. Hope this helps.

Hey all. Has anyone tried the lan play option for this game? I know that the co-op is not lan capable yet, but what about the vs mode. I have 2 pc's running vista ultimate(yeah, I know...its not as good as(insert os here)) both pc's run this torrent fine in single player(running 1.03).I have tried all previous versions 1.0and 1.02. I thought if I updated then that may be the issue, but it didnt. I dont consider myself a noob, but I am not the greatest networking guy. all my other pc games network fine. this torrent however, doesnt seem to "see" any other players in the lan lobby. yes, the firewall is off on both. This is a great game !
Great single player !
Multiplayer is pretty good as well.
Unfortunately there is a network bug in Red Alert 3 1.00.
There are some Red Alert 3 patches 1.03 and cracks for it...
But they cracks are really 1.00 cracks... so the bug doesn't seemed solved yet.
Somebody needs to really crack patch 1.03 !
Hopefully that solves the network bug... which causes bad joining and hosting issue's...
While playing it plays ok.

After that the crack of course didnt work anymore so I uninstalled the game by deleting the main folder. I tried to reinstall but when I click on setup.exe now nothing at all happens.. I deleted the folder and unpacked it again.. deleted every file I could find from the registry and still nothing. hoping someone can help.. will be a little upset if i spent 5 days downloading this game to only play it for an hour.

The game is working fine at my place, but my roommate is trying to play it 2. Now everytime he starts up the game, he get's the "In the right upper corner you can find bla bla bla... Click this box if you don't want to see this again bla bla bla..."
So we press "ok" and then nothing happens... :(

TO ANSWER A FEW QUESTIONS THAT KEEP CROPPING UP:
1) To unzip/unrar, download 7-zip (www.7-zip.com) - it's a multi-purpose zip tool that lets you unpack compressed file. Once it's installed, right-click the .RAR file you downloaded, pick 7-Zip from the menu, and click 'Extract Here'. It will take a few minutes and unpack the DVD
2) To mount the file you unpacked (it's called rld-ra3.iso), you can either install a virtual drive program like Daemon Tools or PowerISO (search for them here or on Google and install them). I recommend PowerISO - it's quite dummy proof. After you install it and reboot, right-click the .ISO file that you unpacked and go to PowerISO > Mount to > and pick one of the drives there.
Now go to My Computer and you'll see a new DVD drive with the Red Alert disc in it.
Double click the drive to start the installer and do it as you would any other application.
When asked for a serial number, you can use
NVJ2-MPAX-SEXC-ZSET-ERLD
or any of the ones paulashcroft reposted on this page.
When the install is done, you can't run the game yet - it's copy protected.
Now go back to My Computer, and right-click on the virtual drive and pick Explore (or Open). You'll see a folder inside the disc called crack - go into there.
Select all the files and copy them to the clipboard (CTRL-C).
Now go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Red Alert 3 and PASTE the file (CTRL-V).
It will ask if you want to overwrite files - say yes. This will replace the game executable with a cracked copy.
Now click the Red Alert 3 icon to start up the game.
You'll immediately be nagged about an update being available - CLICK CANCEL. If you apply the update, your cracked executable will be overwritten by a new one from EA and you'll be locked out again!
I'd say enjoy, but I thought this was a really shitty game. Not sure what I expected from EA, but this was shallower than usual.

copied crack files to the game directory, and played the game, no problems.
its fun, but if u played RA2 as much as i did, u can see its the same thing in 3D. the new units and the japanese are fun and all, but it feels like they've taken away a bit. theres less units, less structures, similar to generals where these were lacking in quantity.
i love havin tonnes of different units to use, but for allies theres like, 2 proper infantry, 2 tanks, 2 APCs, 4 planes, and 4 proper ships. RA1 + RA2 had fucking masses of everything, why cant they bring back the old light/medium/heavy/mammoth tank thing. and all the cool infantry...
and cruisers which cud shoot across the map.
still, multiplayer is ace ^_^

First off, even the torrent is messed up. TPB reads 2193 seeders, my client read 1998 seeders and I could only connect to 25 seeders. It took me three days to D/L this...

to the people moaning about the puny download speed: it's obvoius the low download speed is due to the poor seeder/leacher ratio
also:
try changing your port usage number or set it to random on start
limit your upload speed while downloading to approx 50% of your max upload speed
your ISP may be blocking your connection, try encryption
I set my upload speed to go unlimited when the downloads finish 0=)

Eventually got this working after istalling the "fix" and the crack i dowloaded from anoother torrent on here.
The game however is not very good. Generals and Tiberium Wars are MUCH better offerings. But as it's free i do feel obliged to play it until completion and may buy it when it's out on budget in 12 months.
The only good thing about this game is Gemma Atkinson who plays EVA. mmmmmmmm

You will need a crack/patch fix as the previous poster made a link towards. The game may black screen for a while on start or crash after the 6th Soviet mission, otherwise.
Keygen is on the disc in the crack directory. You will want to copy the entire contents of the Crack directory into your game folder and overwrite any existing files.

I'm not a noob, but I've never had to do any more than conventional methods to get a game to work. I have elby clone drive to mount with. I've tried everything listed here. The only thing I haven't tried is burning the image with power2go. I don't see how that would matter though seeing as it had no problem installing. And I'm not going to waste a dvd. Any suggestions?

Couldn't get this to install on my extreme edition quad core machine with two drives on RAID 0, must be to do with the speed, it repeatedly crashed during installation. I found that having the image mounted on a seperate drive to the installation one cures this sometimes, but not with this torrent. Worked fine on my single drive, single core Pentium 4 machine.

It could be because the 7000 series of nvidia is starting to get a little old for new games such as red alert 3, i could suggest getting at least and 8600GT there cheap and they can run redalert 3 fine. Check how high you have the graphics on red alert 3 set them to low for now and see if that works

Ok i've found the olution for my problem:
1. Download red alert 3
2. Unrar (Daemon tools)
3. Install game. There is a keygen in te download.
/Crack
4. When install is done, copy all files that are in the /crack folder to the folder were u installed RA3.

All i know is that my port was blocked when i posted that seed and now im getting 40-190kbps Download and still about 100kbps up.
Using uTorrent? Click options > speed guide > check if port is forwarded correctly, If it isnt either forward it with your router, OR put yourself in the DMZ (demilitarized zone) of your router if you have a firewall etc behind your router, And/Or are very security concious

right click on start and select windows explorer.
scroll down on the list till u come to the drives.
find the drive where red alert 3 are mounted to and click on it.
the right window will show u what the disck contains.
open the crack folder.
open the file: rld-ra3k.exe (this is the keygen)
generate a serial u want to use.
put in the key u selected when asked for it at the start of the installation of the game.
begin install it.
after installation navigate to the place where u installed the game to (default: program files/electronic arts/Red alert 3)
get back to the crack folder on the disc.
open up the Launcher folder.
select all the files and copy them(ctrl+c)
go back to red alert 3 folder.
open the Launcher folder.
put in the files u just copied.(ctrl+v)
go back to the crack folder.
open up data folder (where the crack are)
select all files and copy them(ctrl+c)
go back to red alert 3 folder.
open the data folder.
put in the files u just copied(ctrl+v) and say yes to replace the new files.
Step 3: firewall exception list
click start.
Click Control Panel.
Double Click Windows Firewall.
click the exception box.
click on add program.
find command & conquer red alert 3 on the list.
if its not on the list then navigate to where, u installed the game, and select the Ra3.exe
it should now be on the exception list.
uncheck the box to the left of red alert 3.
click ok.
congratulation u now got red alert 3 fully installed and working, without patch pop op in menu.
These steps goes for almost all games, so remember the steps for the next game, u have trouble with, so u dont have to ask what to do.
Additional help:
Step 4: bypass of the files Maps_0.cab+ core_5.cab DRM shit.
Heres how to bypass the currupted files: Maps_0.cab + core_5.cab, if u get error during the installation.
Start,run,cmd,drive:,dir,EASetup.exe
simply put in dvd or if u got it electronic then mount it with daemon tools etc.
Click Start
Then Run
type in: CMD
write the drives name (D: if its in the D drive)
then write: dir (after u seen u at the drive u just selected) Then u should see what the dvd red alert 3 contains.
then write: EASetup.exe and hit enter
the installation should pop up.
follow the installation as normal
now it works.
++update.
if it still fails to install, then create another user on your windows.(so that the game, cant find the register keys of previous installation of red alert 3, or software like daemon tools+alcohol+power dvd etc).
Run the step 4 again from the new user.
after complete installation, delete the new user u made to have the same, user profile u had before.

Well i downloaded the game and it worked great with 1.00 patch. Then i wanted to update it to the newest patch becouse i wanted to play with other's who have the original. And i updated it and now have patch 1.06 and the game asks for registation key and wont start.
So what i want to know is if i need the 1.06 patch to play with the others who got the original or is it fine with 1.05? couse i dont find the 1.06 crack patch .

Im a complete noob on this.
I downloaded the file.. I then open winRAR and extract the whole file that i downloaded.
I open it in winRAR and tons of files is all i see. Files named "rld-ra3" All of them are 97,657KB - I dont know what the next step is really. I downloaded MagicISO, PowerISO.. and tried to create "virtual" drives from their.. but nothing happens when i "try" and do it.. I have no idea what im doing. Can someone help me? I am really good at working things and getting them up and running so if you could give me a little push and give me a tip on how to continue.. Unrar the zip file using WinZip or similar software.
Mount, using PowerISO.
Install.
Don't install EA DNLD manager.
Copy "everything" from the crack folder.
Paste "everthing" from the crack folder, to the RA3 folder.

    The game works well, you can play the Co-Op part of the game using the TeknoGods fix (some crashes but only when map changes, one problem we can live with) and using Hamachi or Garena for internet play.
    Some of my friends had one strange problem related to a thing I think is one anti-piracy joke, a "mouse-stop-clicking" -sometimes even on menus- and "auto-retreat" that happens after some minutes in game, even playing vs computers. To solve this problem I tried installing .net framework v3.5, installing the newest DirectX, uninstalling the EA Download Manager and reinstalling the game (without EADM) with no result, then I tried changing the crack version to the v1.4 from RLD, and it worked perfectly for the friends that had the problem, but when I updated mine the problem happened to me... lol
    Another thing I noticed is that after updating the game, just changing the newest SkuDef on the folder of the game with a copy of the ra3_english_1.0.SkuDef (with v1.0 cracked) it stopped asking the updates, and when installed v1.4 it was by replacing the v1.4 SkuDef with the newest to it work with the cracked ra3_1.4.game .

Everything went well but whe I try to run the game, a directx error comes up: Please make sure you have DirectX 9.0 or higher installed. Here's how I got it to work:
unrar, mount the single rar file you get from that using deamon tools, install the game with any serial you might find here or on other sites.
after that DO NOT try to start it but instead copy all files ( exept the keygen) from the map 'crack' to your install directory and overwrite all.
after that you should be able to play the game

Try doing the following. Update using official 1.06 patch. (google "red alert 3 1.06 patch")
get reloaded 1.06 crack. (google "gamefix" and use this site to find C&C red alert 3)
Extract the crack and ALL the contents into your RA3 folder.
I had the same problem with the game crashing, the reason for me, was I extracted only the RA3_1.06.game file).
If you need a keygen/serial, google "red alert 3 keygen reloaded"

ok guys i figured it out. if it comes up with a screen saying "please insert your registration code found in you confimation email, game maual bla bla bla, then you have put the crack in the wrong place. put the files located in the "crack" folder into the game directory. they must overwrite the original "data" folder. hope this helps :)

when patching, do not use the ingame patching system (this will patch the game up to v1.08, and there is no crack available for that version) instead download the following patches from the links below and then install the v1.06 crack

You really don't have to do it yourself, just start extracting from one of them and it will automatically put it together from all the pieces, so wherever you extract it to you'll have the full .iso
On a side note, does anyone know if there's a 1.07 patch or is it okay to just patch straight from 1.06 to 1.08?

I am running vista 64bit which is probably the problem so the source directory is different. also when mounted you can not add any data to the folder because it thinks its a disk and there is no extra room,(fucking vista). there is the autorun, crack and data folders. with different varieties of the rld-ra3k and lib_art.map. etc. what folders do I cut and which do I paste them over. 2.5. USE THE KEYGEN IN THE CRACK FOLDER CALLED "rld-r3e1."
3. Install the game

Many of you guys have problems with fixing the REGISTRATION CODE problem.
I have a solution for you, that worket itself out fine for me:
RA3 works fine until you quit the game - and the game automatically downloads a patch that is not suportet by the REALODED crack. From that point the game wil ask for the registration code, and you will not be able to play it.
Therefor, you must prevent this automatically patch dowload:
1. Uinstall RA3 (Control panel > Programs > Command And Conquer Red Alert 3 (...) > Remove/uinstall)
2. Install game using the keygen locadet in the /Crack folder on the .iso file.
3. Copy the files and folders in the /Crach directory to your game directory, that is often located by default @ c:/program files/electronic arts/red alert 3/.
4. DO NOT LAUNCH THE GAME YET! Go to control panel > system and security > windows firewall > advanced settings and set RULES for both INBOUND RULES and OUTBOUD RULES. In the window that appears (this guide will work for both inbound and outbound rules) chose NEW RULE. A new window will now pop up on your screen. Chose PROGRAM and click NEXT. Now chose the THIS PROGRAM PATH option, and hit BROWSE... Navigate to your RA3 folder, that is often located by default @ c:/program files/electronic arts/red alert 3/ and chose the RA3.exe file. Click OPEN. You will now see the path to your game file in the pop up window we worked with before. Hit NEXT. Now chose the BLOCK THE CONNECTION option and again hit NEXT. Ok, I'm also having problems here, probably because I'm very very new at this - I downloaded the torrent, I've extracted the ISO file and installed the game using the keygen found in the virtual drive created by daemon tools... I then copied the contents of the "crack" folder (on the virtual drive) to the Red Alert folder in drive C:........ so why is the game starting up and asking me to re-enter my Reg code? - oh, I should also probably mention that some of the files in the "crack" folder wouldn't copy over because they were either in use or read only. You don't, they are RARs or whatever, extract rld-ra3.r00 (will take a while as its extracting from 00 - 65) and you should get an ISO file, mount that..

1. I unRARed the files
2. I mount the Image on Daemon Tools.
Now usually the game autoplays and an installation screen pops up. But this time, nothing. I go into My Computer and double-click the E: Drive (where it's mounted) and it says "Windows cannot read from the disk. The disk may be corrupted or blahblah..." I right click the E: Drive and select autoplay but still nothing happens.

When I mount the image the little sand-counter thing shows up beside my mouse icon for a couple seconds to indicate the computer is busy and doing something, so it must recognize the image in some way. But ultimately nothing happens.

ok ok , soo i got your files, no worries dowloading thanks all to seed but what s the go ms screen comes up for 1 second when i go to install every time no install screen at all what is the go with that shit ,change the colors or ratio or what ever the fuck that stupid install shit says is it specified for certain operating systems?? no luck tho any help at all would be great did anyone else experience this, no install at all...... almost regreting that one
