Animaniacs (titolo originale Steven Spielberg presents Animaniacs è una serie televisiva di cartoni animati statunitense prodotta dalla Amblin insieme con la Warner Bros Animation; è stata trasmessa tra il 1993 e il 1998 sui canali Fox e WB dedicati ai cartoni animati, e in Italia dalla Rai e Cartoon Network. Protagonisti principali sono i fratelli Warner: Wakko, Yakko e la sorella Dot furono creati intorno agli anni '30 dalla WB ma i loro cartoni furono sigillati in un deposito segreto affinché non venissero mai mandati in onda perché giudicati troppo assurdi e demenziali. Le storia prende il via quando intorno agli anni '90 i tre fratelli, rinchiusi nel deposito dell'acqua degli studios WB decidono di uscire, dando così inizio alle loro avventure e scorribande. Insieme ai tre fratelli Warner molti altri personaggi fanno parte degli Animaniacs (tra i più noti: Mignolo e Prof., Dr. Otto Scratchansniff, I picciotti, Rita e Runt...) e in diversi episodi compaiono personaggi di altri cartoni, figure famose del mondo reale o del cinema in cammei e apparizioni caricaturali. Ogni episodio trasmesso consta di due/tre/quattro segmenti generalmente occupati da personaggi diversi, e ogni sketch ha una trama propria autonoma. Quel che qui rilasciamo è il cofanetto dei Volume 1, 2, 3 per un totale di 15 DVD comprendenti la prima e la seconda stagione, e parte della terza.
