I'd be interested in the H.264 - perhaps people just need to be educated. Having just bought a camera that records in h.264 I know a lot more today than last week and now know I'd like to know a lot more about it.Frank_UK (2008-06-22)

Here's hopong for H 264.No need to transcode for any of my devices. Smaller file size, better picture when there is a lot of motion on the screen. I am sold on the codec.
I think tsqtsq0 is right, people probably need more education.
