Installation is too confusing.
Once the app is open, you can click on Install and it installs the program.
After that, there is also a Crack button that I clicked on and it opened a temp folder with a crack. Clicked on crack, it says OK.
Opened software and entered the serials provided and they don't work.
Don't download it.

Works great thanks. for those having trouble installing. You get two files with this download. the application file(.exe) and the .txt file (instructions file) You don not need to turn off your internet connection. Click on the application file and you get a box. Click on the top large box to install the program. After installing the program make sure it is close, ckick on the crack and a folder will be created containing two files. The crack file and read me. Now copy the crack file to the folder where your software is intalled suck as c:\program\magic\movie_edit etc...Then run as administrator (Right click on the file and select run as administrator a new box will come up with two skull like icons click on any of them and you will see the result of your crack on a small black box on the right side corner of the new box will say OK! Follow instructions on how to enter serial number and activation number. The software will ask you to enter the MPEG plugin only when it needs it to read video that you have opened the choose offline and enter then number provided. Simple. Ps! Anti virus will detect the crack as trojan or so but ignore it.

Here are the step by step instructions to Crack the Program
1. Click the application
2. You will have a window pop up called Slickinator. Click the button that says Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 17 DLV Setup
3. Follow install steps and click finish
4. Back on Slickinator window, Click on crack at bottom of the window, a new window opens with the crack.
5. Copy the crack icon and paste into the main program file where u just installed Magix. (C:\Program Files
6. Double Click the copied crack that you just pasted and a window will pop up with two skulls on it.
7. Click on the left skull and you will see the little square box will now say (OK)
8. Start Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus
9. Enter Serial # 84701-67890-94618-67890-43251-19203
10. Enter Fake Email Address (r@r.com)
11. Now you will have 3 options. Activate online, phone, or email.

If I extract with Winrar and then try to run it, I can't because it's all password protected. Even Avast couldn't scan the files because it says they are password protected. I have it installed, and have opened up my file tree, but it will not import .avi or .flv videos. It did not ask me to enter a code for the codex. I can not find a place that takes me to Magix to register the Codex. I have registered the program, however.

Regarding the program itself, in my opinion, its one of the best and most powerful video editors I have ever used, but like the torrent, its not for beginners. If youre looking for a 5 minute solution to posting your video to Youtube, Magix is not the right choice. If, however, you are looking for a program that will produce nearly professional results without a university degree in video editing, Magix may be for you. Any fairly computer literate person should be able to use Magix to make top quality (nearly professional) videos with some time and effort invested. Thanks for reading my opinion, cheers.

guys it works, not the first time i tried it, but it eventually did.
right click the file that you placed in the magix program files folder and press 'run as administrator'.
at this point my kaspersky internet security asked me to set its permissions. make sure you set it to not block it anytime.
run the program, enter the serial provided and it should let you enter an email. from then on, follow the previous instructions and you'll be fine.
i guess you just have to experiment a bit and read all previous comments
