Also your game might not be able to play, you might get an error saying "Emulation Detected" And won't let you play the game. I don't know which torrent-client you are using, but for uTorrent there is an option in torrent properties - "super seed". If you enable this option, you will seed different parts of your file to different leechers and when you are offline, we will download these missing parts form each other. This option will increase download speed about 20-30%.
P.S. If you are using different torrent-client, look for a FAQ on the official website.

That's the easiest thing you can do. Just download again your torrent from this site and open it with uTorrent. Then type in the exact location of the file. If everything is done properly uTorrent will preform hash check on you file and begin uploading.

You need to run your torrent like you want to download this file from someone else, but you need to type in the destination of your file. µToreent will see your file, compare it with that you want to "download", then will perform hash check. After that it will say that file is downloaded at 100% and will begin seeding.

The new torrent sees my file, check it, saying it's 100% downloaded and begin to seed.

All right, i got it now. EaW gold pack strangely installs 1.01, but it apears as 1.05 - and so unpatchable. Even the original one.
If ya're lucky and dont get graphical glitches like me ya probably wont even notice it. The only clue is that the 1.05 crack doesent work but 1.01 does.

Soo, if ya wnna make sure it runs at latest version:

dl that, patch it to 1.05, and then use z321z's patch.
(Umm, did not tried FoC in this version. Maybe that works. Wanted to start from beginnin' ya know.)

The 1.5 crack simply dosent workin'. I didnt find other too. Gold pack installs EaW 1.5, n the only way I found to play it with 1.5 exe was Y.A.S.U

It works for me, here's what I did.
I mounted with PowerISO and installed both EAW and FOC, then downloaded Tarnowsky's crack at:

and followed his directions EXACTLY. Then I tried to play but for reason my graphics were messed up in game. So I exited out and installed Direct X 9.0C straight from the EAW CD (or just go to Microsoft.com and download it there) Ten I tried to play and it works PERFECT.
Side not: Instead of clicking on the application on the desktop I clicked on the EAW app in the \Gamedata folder. I dont know if this matters or not though...

Ok, firstly, great torrent, took only a few hours to d'load. Keys in text file works for both main prog and expansion. Did NOT burn to disc, as all my discs are 700mb, not large enough to house the program, so I ran it off my MagicDisc Virtual disc program. When trying to actually START the game, it keeps telling me "Emulator Detected. Please deactivate virtual drive and emulation software."
With that in mind, thought maybe the included virtual drive software would work. When running the included software, my trend-micro software informed me that it contains spyware proggie, ADW_SAVENOW, which was found, quarantined and deleted. IS there an issue with this virtual drive software? What can I do to get it to run off my MagicDisc? or would I just be better off getting larger discs to burn it to???

Ok, issues resolved. I DID d'load the patch from the link in the description area above, and the game does successfully run off my magicdisc program. BUT, still concerned about the spyware found in THIS zip on the virtual drive proggie. If anyone else is leery about it, you can d'load magic disc for free online. Works great, I use it all the time.

Daemon Tools is excellent for mounting images. I would suggest everyone to use that. Just make sure you install it (With Daemon Tools) use the serials provided, download the crack from the other link (provided in description) after you apply the crack you do not need Daemon Tools anymore for mounting. This crack eliminates the Authentication error and allows you to play directly from your hard drive. YOU MUST APPLY THE CRACKS FOR BOTH EAW/FOC EXEs!!! Everything should be virus free, I tested all of this myself and scanned with Bitdefender (One of the best anti viruses out there)

AD DON'T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! They are confusing. When you download mod just run the program (only one in the folder). When it asks you in witch file would you like to extract it just select one folder (no metter witch) and when it is done go to this folder, copy file named DATA then go to

Look guys, I've tested this myself. I don't know why it's saying it can't authenticate disc. You get the crack and you should easily replace the files that needs to be replaced in order for it to work.

wen i was tryna replace the old swfoc/sweaw & PerceptionFunctionG.dll files, i was replacing the wrong ones.
you need to download the crack torrent then copy the 2 files in them(PerceptionFunctionG.dll & sweaw) in either SWEAW first or the 2 files(PerceptionFunctionG.dll & swfoc) in SWFOC.replace THOSE wit the original ones.

I opened the downloaded ".rar" file using a program called "WinRAR", opened the "Star Wars Empire at War Gold Pack" folder, opened the ".mdf" file, and extracted the "EAW" folder onto my desktop. I then opened the "EAW" folder on my desktop and ran "setup.exe". This installed Empire at War (the first one).
I then went back and opened "Star Wars EAW Gold Pack.rar" and extracted the only folder in there called "Star Wars Empire at War Gold Pack" onto my desktop. I then opened "Star Wars Empire at War Gold Pack" and used a program called "WinCDEmu Mounter" to mount the ".mdf" file onto a virtual disk drive. When I did this, an autorun window popped up giving me an option to run the ".exe" for the game.

Works fine. Got a no-disk error at first, but then I bypassed the launcher by going into the directory and opening swfoc.exe directly (made a shortcut to this on desktop too).

This torrent did have A VIRUS it was EMBEDDED in daemon tools installer. It was detected and removed by Avast anti-virus and moved to chest. Other then the 8 high threat: Win32:Adware-gen viruses the iso image is real and does work from what I can tell. Shame on you Tarnowsky! I just want to know why? I got two things;
1. I cant run the expansion, it crashes when i start it up, downloaded crack, still wont work.

you guys talking about viruses are complete fucking idiots. Keygens/cracks work by editing your registry... that's how all games are authenticated on the PC. Firewalls will give you a FALSE POSITIVE BECAUSE OF THIS. I repeat, NOT A VIRUS.

The one problem I do have is getting FOC to work. SWEAW works fine, but it's only when I go to play FOC that it tells me to insert the Gold pack DVD to play. Am I just not mounting the right image? Suggestions?

AHA! Figured it out, Avast detected a virus and did not allow me to open it. Fucking free anti virus programs and their false positives.
If you're experiencing the same problem, just turn of your anti virus shields and open it.

I had the same problem, but then I noticed the crack was suppose to go inside GAMEDATA folder and not just inside the SWEAW folder and that fixed the problem for me and I am running win 7 64bit. hope that helped

I haven't seen anyone anywhere have this problem, but now I've had it on two different computers.
After playing a while (maybe an hour or a half) all 3D models (units and buildings etc.) start to flicker. It won't stop until I restart the game. Both computers have ATI graphics.
