Yes, further digging confirms. MS apparently did not update the file details, but md5 checks with other reliable sources. So, it does look good.

Thank you for the good work.
I've tried downloading the registry update from your website but installation has failed twice while downloading the actual servicepack.
I am now in the process of downloading the full package from softpedia and saw a comment about the "36 suported languages" and was wondering if you know if Danish is one of them?
I would greatly appreciate the help as I would like the SP.
My system is a HP NC8430 2 Ghz, 1,5 GB ram with Vista Business 32-bit

following instructions on "lloydlopez" site i could install the SP1 version 6.0.6001.18000 and i'm using a pc with vista ultimate in english, spanish and swedish. so i guess danish is another language included. anyway if not, the windows update will not download the update.

Thank for your comments. However I did use Lloydlopez site as guidance for my previous two tries with the registry patch.
Sadly furthermore the full package download defienently doesn't support Danish as it came up and said so under the installation.
Guess I'll just have to wait for the official release.

Based from the info release by Microsoft, the current RTM release is only for the English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese version of Vista.
SP1 for other languages will be release on April. Some info below:

Hmmm.. that is strange. Don't know why that was posted in Softpedia but I suggest you wait a little bit for MS to release Vista SP1 for your language since this was the info they provided on their blog (Vista Team Blog).

i've SP1 installed in a Vista Ultimate with English, Spanish and Swedish languages installed. I'd follow instructions on and i didn't get any problem. Maybe, if you have Bussines or Ultimate version you can change first the language to English and try again. In those versions English is installed with your own language.

If you are using a genuine Windows Vista then there's no need to activate it but if you are using a cracked version then there's a new crack out there that will work with SP1.
It is similar to the OEM crack that was release a year ago.

what does the directions on the site have to do with anything i downloaded the torrent opened the service pack went through the install which was nothing like the instructions the site said and at the end there was an error message and the service pack was not installed. so, its bulshit then ?? or is it just me ??

Since y'day have installed SP1 , Dutch language.
Now it's says "15 days remaining to activation",,
anyone has an idea what to do, with which crack?
