To extend the trial days, just uninstall the NTR before the subscription expires and install it again to get another 120/180 days of subscription. If your Norton got locked, expired, or if some of the Norton settings cannot be entered anymore, then try solving the problem by using one of the other NTRs (instructions included). Reported is that NTR v3.0.0 BETA can also be used to unlock and activate Norton 2011 v18.5.0.125 but the Norton background themes can't be changed and creating a Norton account isn't possible (cause NTR v3.0.0 BETA disables the Norton account). * Note: NTR v3.0.1 was pulled back by BOX!, so don't use NTR v3.0.1 anyway! Norton 360 offers all the same features as Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus, but Norton 360 also includes additional system tools and utilities for tuning-up and optimizing your PC. Norton 360 Standard Edition offers the same features as Norton 360 Premier Edition, but the Premier Edition also includes additional system tools and utilities for tuning-up and optimizing your PC. The Premier Edition also offers an online Backup feature. However, when using the NTR the Norton Online Backup feature may not work because you need a valid Symantec account! AV = AntiVirus IS = Internet Security NAV = Norton AntiVirus NIS = Norton Internet Security N360 = Norton 360 NTR = Norton Trial Reset ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *** When using TPB please read these important notes: ***************************************************** 01. AV software may warn about keygens, patches, cracks etc because of their capabilities and signatures (generating codes, etc). Sometimes also they're added to the virus/spyware database and will be detected as malware. If not trusting keygens, patches, cracks etc don't use them. 02. To avoid AV software removing/blocking clean cracks etc: exclude the crack or folder from being auto-protected & auto-scanned by the AV software. 03. If AV software removed a clean crack usually it can be restored (if it's not in Quarantine then look at History or something similar). 04. To avoid risks when using cracks also Sandboxie can be used to test them: http://www.sandboxie.com/ http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/4918844/ http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6091044/ 05. Before running .exe-files, keygens, patches, cracks etc always check first if they can be unpacked. Often some thirth party added a virus to the original file, repacked it, and uploaded it again. 06. Letting AV software software sending scan results to their companies can cause keygens, patches, cracks etc being added to their virus-database. 07. Firewalls which are set to automatically decide for connections will allow connections for lots of apps & MALWARE!. To avoid so firewalls should be set to decide yourself which connection to allow or not. 08. Clicking on unknown links can coz malware being silently installed on a pc! 09. Usually (new) torrents with extreme many downloads & seeders in a short time are very suspicious! Torrents with a SKULL-logo are trusted. 10. Some (frustrated) people use multiple accounts and post lots of FAKE comments and/or files trying to spread confusion. Usually they NEVER seriously reply on comments and don't have any torrent, or to look reliable just a few. 11. In general often there are more fake & negative comments than reliable & positive comments. 12. In some countries uploading/downloading copyright-protected material is forbidden, but showing some appreciation to reliable uploaders is not. 13. Posting FAKE comments & uploads on TPB can result in getting banned from TPB! 14. Comments are welcome, unlike ranting, trolling, whining, etc. 15. No Promises ... No Debts! For reporting bad or suspicious torrents: http://forum.suprbay.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=29 For requests: http://forum.suprbay.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=31 For visiting my TPB account: http://thepiratebay.se/user/RobbingHood This torrent is scanned with: 1. Norton Internet Security 2. Avira AntiVir Premium 3. avast! Pro Antivirus 4. Kaspersky Antivirus Also scanned with some well known antispyware, and tested in Sandboxie. Malware detected by other anti-malware software probably are false positives! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the "United Reliable The Pirate Bay Users", Nowadays a lot of TPB members abuse their TPB membership by intentionally posting fake comments & files. Their meaning is just trying to spread confusion and to frustrate TPB and it's users. Less downloaders = less seeders = less download speed etc = not good! It's in the benefit of TPB and all reliable users to warn each other about people who intentionally keep posting fake comments & files. It's an easy answer against those who intentionally keep posting fake comments & files, which is a never ending issue. When reporting errors or false positives just keep in mind that what goes up for one does not always goes up for another. That's for both the working of an app and about false positives! Remember: whatever is said, say it constructive! Let's just try to help each other and TPB by thinking about what's said & posted. Things are all up to you, the "United Reliable The Pirate Bay Users"! Enjoy The Pirate Bay * Status torrent at February 21, 2011 - 23.30 CET: clean, tested & working.

TheAslan (2011-02-22)

It gives only 120 days subscription.....is it possible to get 180 or 360 days too??

TheAslan (2011-02-22)

Change.logs
# For Norton 360 only. Extends the trial period to 180 Days
.
NAV & NIS remains 120 days

brianxxx (2011-02-23)

Damn fine upload Sir! lol
Yeah, I have to bitch and moan....they have got to stop the lame 120 day thing. Very annoying. Really wish they would get it back up to at least 180 but preferably 365!
If anybody has BOX!'s ear...tell them to get with it. lol

brianxxx (2011-02-23)

@RH -
I figured that...but still....lol It is annoying to have to constantly run my virtual test machines at certain points to ensure they get reset.
Oh well...can't complain really........lol

kzrockz (2011-02-23)

i read that part & wanted to knw hw ur OS & other situation decides no. of days.was just curious.neways gt the difference related to products frm ur comment 2 brianxxx.thnkx ne wayz.

dnyambi (2011-02-25)

It works perfectly for me with 180 days. RobbingHood you're the best. And, of course, BOX! is a master for once again cracking this program.
:D

kbenson (2011-03-02)

Thank you, worked great for me. New to all this just got my Uncle's old comp. about a month ago. Didn't even know how to turn it on at first. Thanks again.

quietcity (2011-03-04)

Works perfect! Special thanks to the up-loader, great work mate!
So, as an average user, I read carefully the instructions and I have one question. It's about recommendation to disable the option "Automatic Live Update" at "Settings/Computer settings"? As for the others 2 (to disable both "Automatically download a new version" and "Receive news about special offers") - all is clear, but disabling that isn't it a compromise with my protection?
Any advices and answers will be appreciated, thanks in advance guys! :)

draexo (2011-03-04)

Hmmm... Norton 360 v 5.0.0.125 seems to have detected the trial reset.....

draexo (2011-03-05)

If it detects the Trial Reset torrent (the archived files) it resets to original date. However, when I removed the archive, it goes back to 150 days.

draexo (2011-03-05)

Norton is now scanning your hard drive and resets the trial reset if you have this file on your hard drive. You will need to move it to an external drive. Also, Norton detects it as a trojan now, whereas two weeks ago it did not. Still seems to work though.

quietcity (2011-03-05)

@ draexo
What exactly NTR do you mean? The latest one 3.3.1? I'm asking you, because I'm about to install & test N360 right now, and my present NIS also catch a NTR yesterday as a trojan, but it was 3.2.0 (only it), as far as for others - they all pass its scanning... :-0

safwan.1 (2011-03-08)

im not a computer expert n didnt even understand these jargons but followed ur directions and it worked,u made my day.
cheers

columbuzz (2011-03-11)

Dont let Norton autoscan your computer for the first time just after install. Then go to settings and exlude archived files (rar, zip...) from scan. As simple as that...;-)

smithcarl (2011-03-16)

working perfect

merovee (2011-03-22)

TheAslan (2011-04-02)

Hiya!!
I have a problem right now, i have 10 days left the trial in my Norton Internet Security 2011, when i installed it i used 3.3.1 trial resetter and all went fine, but now when i tried to get another 120 days it says Failed! when i tried to install it, i mean that it didn't manage to close norton correctly and then it gave me that Failed! message and told my to reboot my computer, is there any way to fix this? I tried to ran it as admin too but didn't help....

TheAslan (2011-04-02)

forgot to mention that i disabled norton tamper before i tried to reinstall 120 days reset

TheAslan (2011-04-02)

ok, looks like i had to reinstall ntr 3.3.1 by using safe mode, it worked for me.

shailm_85 (2011-04-03)

thanks a lot man this is working perfectly on my win 7 64 bit
used it on NIS 18.5.0.125

yardavers (2011-05-13)

Does this works on the NIS current version 18.6.0.29?

kbenson (2011-05-17)

It work for me on 18.6.029 I had to reinstall NIS. Downloaded version 18.6.029 from Symantec, ran NTR 3.3.1 and got 120 days. I also uninstalled NTR, everything seems to work just fine. thanks

jaybl (2011-06-07)

ROB, ARE YOU HEARINGG...?..!
i purged and installed N360 v5.0 with your NTR 3.3.1, but didn't install NTR. I stood with the original 90 day trial of N360, thinking to install NTR 2 days before the original trial ends.
N360 recently get updated to 5.1.0.29,i didnt install your NTR then.
Now when the trial is getting to end i tried to install the NTR. But it says'Installation FAILED!. The Norton Internet Security did not shutdown properly. Please reboot your computer and try again.'.
I had no other way but to uninstal N360 and install a NIS 2011 V18.5.0.125 60 days trial ING partnered one, which you said 18.5.0.125 will work with NTR 3.3.1. I purged and installed NIS 2011. It showed 15 days trial remaining. I disabled Product Tamper Protection and clicked install in NTR 3.3.1.
For my surprise it is again saying above said 'Installation FAILED!....NIS didnt shutdown properly thing...
You said in instructions NTR 3.3.1 is compatible with NIS 18.5.0.125, but what now?..Please tell me what i want to do..
Note: I earlier subscribed to Norton Account when installing N360V5.0 and used Norton Removal Tool to remove updated N360v5.1. Do this earlier subscribed account information has to do something to block NTR3.3.1 from installing?.

jaybl (2011-06-08)

Rob, i tried everything. In safemode too it is saying Installation Failed!. I think the Norton Account of previous unistalled N360 5.1.0.29 has something to do with NTR. I tried the Ruppert NTR 3.3.1 too. That also is saying Failed!.
I am thorough with the installation and instructions as i am not new to installing NTR. Even the successfully tested NTR's are also not working with their compatible Norton products.

jaybl (2011-06-09)

Yes, i confirmed the wrong!..I tested the NTR 3.3.1 on virtual machine windows xp pro sp3.
On that the NTR worked successfully without any 'Installation Failed'.
I asked you that whether the problem is due to norton account of N360 i uninstalled recently?. I think that is the problem.
I uninstalled via Norton Removal Tool, I tried everything , deleted every trace of norton/symantec in folders and registry.
Still any trial product of Norton with confirmed remaining days is showing 0 days remaining on my system, when it shows true trial days or some 15 days/90 days of the same products on another system.
NOW, any trial of any Symantec product is showing expired/ 0 days remaining in my system. What should i do?. Switch to some other Antiviruses?.
I can't delete following Symantec keys from registry. May be this is used for Norton account.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SRTSPX\0000]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SYMDS\0000]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SYMEFA\0000]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SYMEVENT\0000]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SYMIRON\0000]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SYMTDIV\0000]

jaybl (2011-06-09)

Also cant delete same respective Symantec values in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002 and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet

brianxxx (2011-06-27)

For those having troubles -
Seriously...just buy the damn thing. It is a great program.
Major retailers like Best Buy always have this on sale for $30 and that is a 3 pc license!
All my real PCs have legally licensed copies. I only use this NTR for testing and on my virtual machines - for testing complicated scenarios.

magicman08 (2011-06-27)

Worked excellent for me running nis 11 v18.6.0.29

tannerman (2011-07-02)

why have you stolen ntr 3.3.1 from here!?
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6191150/

eXpl0sive (2011-07-31)

Thanks for sharing!

quietcity (2011-09-04)

Hi guys, hello RobingHood! :-)
Should I expect any issues since my NAV2011 has been also updted to 18.6.0.29? Do you already have some info how the current NTR 3.3.1 works with this new version?
Thanks in advance,
Cheers!

quietcity (2011-09-04)

Ups, I'm sorry... I have missed the small post of kbenson just after yours about that issue. It actually answers my previous question, so please excuse me one more time! :-(

Tatletz (2011-09-12)

Thank you RobbingHood, it works top notch as usual. Can you upload one for Norton 2012 please! : )

tannerman (2011-09-17)

I found Norton internet security 2012 + New NTR 2012 crack by box! here:
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6680336/

64base (2011-09-25)

Can I use this as long as required? Say after the first uninstall and then re-activation, will it work the second and/or third-time around?

shahrukh1514 (2011-10-03)

Gr8 Crack... Simple and effective....

taramidong (2011-10-26)

worked perfectly on NIS v.18.6.0.29. mine should gonna expire in 5 days and i got it extended for 120 days more. gotta see what happens next. thanks for this.

WolfPunk (2012-01-27)

Hope this Helps: The Reset tool only works if the Norton Product is shut down completely. If you see "unable to shut down Norton" message forget the reboot and use a good Process Killer utility. You'll see two black & yellow squares in the process column with the word 'symantec' to the right. Shut down the System one AND the User, also.
Then run the NTS.
My Norton 360 was down to 11 days, and was kicked up to 180. Seriously, try it. Thanks RobbingHood, excellent Up.
