NewLogic87 & still_dre_day - I can't find a reason to NEED a password, but I haven't tried to edit the PDF, so I am assuming that it is only needed if you want to split the books, though why would you want to do that when everything is in one place?!
If you are trying to convert the PDF file simply use calibre - E-book management available from http://calibre-ebook.com/, which is easy to use and converts to multiple formats for all types of devices.
