All the band member of Pink Floyd would commit a suicide if they listen to this album....... I know The Flaming Lips must have worked hard to create this album...... But its totally out of league........ I think its like being disrespectful to Pink Floyd........ after downloading this torrent I immediately deleted this album.....

YOU WILL LIKE THIS ALBUM. I have listened to the entire Pink Floyd discography, many Roger Waters albums and live Floyd/Waters concert recordings. I am also a big Flaming Lips fan, and though I haven't seen them live, have been listening to them since the early nineties. In my opinion, this album is a must have because it is such a unique interpretation of a classic album. I like how the funk has been removed, with the same notes rearranged into 4/4 time. Very punk rock. But this album is not punk rock, and this coming from a guy who has heard everything by Led Zeppelin too (but who no longer likes them because hippies are a lot of esoterically educated buffoons). That being said, The Flaming Lips are like some kind of amazing 60's band crossed with some kind of amazing 70's band crossed with some kind of amazing band from after that and they are just kind of neato. So if you like music that is kind of neato, you will like this album. YOU WILL LIKE THIS ALBUM.
