Description:

2008 July Aichi Nagoya BASHO Sumo Video FULL DAY 6 Divx Todays file run with AutoGK. Took forever and I see no better results than with Dr.DivX that is sooooo much faster. So, unless everyone says this is 100% better, the rest of the basho is Dr. DivX. There are some funny lines now and then in todays show. It came in to my TiVo that way - sorry. Day 7 seems fine. Enyoy!

Look SciFi-Sumo.
You made big mistake with this rip.
You don't set audio to 64 kbps as usually, and get 224.00 kbps by default. It took from video about 150 mb! Quality is down..
In addition, there are good practice to downgrade frame size to 640x480 and using xvid codec instead divx.
That's all easy steps.. :)
Anyway thank you for this day..

thanks as always, i really want to say that while you tinker with things, just know that I appreciate your getting sumo up for us, so dont give yourself a coronary about interlacing and that other stuff. I simply appreciate being able to see sumo..J&T

OK I'll download that.
But. I just started watching Day 6, and the biggest problem is not those funny lines, but freeze-jumps. Is that just for me, or is that the effect of those 150MB Herlock says, or was that how it came to your TV already?

After having watched it all and looked at the freeze-jumps with different players, they appear to be correlated with those funny lines, so probably also the broadcaster's problem.
