Games crashes always at the same place in the "Chase by V-rex" level.
I tried to remove game and download again to reinstall, same issue :(
Too bad, i began to like this old game ....

Confirmed. The game always crashes at the "Chased by V-Rex" level, after you climb the vertical wall and follow the river. I tried running the game in compatibility mode for XP or Vista to see if this would somehow fix it, but it didn't work.
I don't know if it's an unpatched critical bug in the original game, that's gotten worse in Win Vista/7, or a crack bug, but it does stop game progress at that point.

hey guys, IF youv expirienced a crashes in that level, use low quality pixel of the video... choose as directx8 not directx9, then 800x600 resolution.. then the game work fine! iv try it and tested!

You lie.I heave 1,5 Ghz, 512Mb Ram and 200 and a little Mb video card and i can play this game perfectly.

Is this really unprotected? The original 2005 version came with Starforce DRM, and I'd like to extract Englehorn from the game with 3D Ripper DX which sadly doesn't bode well with the protection scheme.

I can confirm this works on my Win 7 64 bit and does not include starforce (that AFAIK isn't working on Win 7, I have retail with it and my PC would not even boot with starforce installed). Very happy I can finally finish this game. :P

Tried playing on Windows 8.
Game works fine except for some random mouse sensitivity spikes.
However, the game will stop progressing right before the end of "The Wall" chapter.
After Anne raises the first game, the next line that is supposed to be said by Jack "Be careful" is never said, Anne stays quiet and runs off. If you focus on her beforehand, you stare at a wall for about a minute until it automatically zooms out for you and you can't do it again, meaning she disappeared out of the game.
This is either some really bad bug or anti-piracy mechanic. Any fix, or another torrent that can work?

Forgot to mention that you can't walk out of the water because the invisible barrier is still there.
