Xubuntu is a more casual version of Ubuntu, wich is based on linux and is totally free. Installation of this OS will not erase the original OS. you will be able to go back to it when you wish. To do so, at the boot screen type this line: boot-game-os then press enter Or hold the power button for 10seconds when starting your PS3, after what you will hear a Double-Beep. (refer to your PS3 owner's manual for more details if you want.) After this the Xmb will come back and your PS3 will function Normally.
