If you're in bad need to watch this series this is fine however I think I'll keep waiting for a quality rip. Also not really sure why they're in a MKV container seeing as how the subtitles are hardcoded.

When I play this I get audio but no video. what player should I use? I'm using the media player that came with klite mega codec pack.

I downloaded vlc media player and it works with that. thanks for the download. the quality isn't bad :)

Old shit I know but they aren't actual true story episodes. Their called OVA's or bonus scenes they are sort of like deleted scenes all Anime's have em and btw I hate hard coded subs or dubs as I'm fluent in Japanese as let me tell you the subs and dubs change the mood, expressions and even the story in nearly ever Anime or foreign media. Gunslinger Girl is no exception its almost a new story compared to the true Japanese version. The subs are also 90% wrong as most Japaneses words and phrases do not direct translate to English etc. Some words don't translate at all. Its why my anime collection is bought direct from Japan as I'm a Japanese American 2nd gen. I only use torrents for quick demo's if I like em I buy em if not I delete em. And dude's the US only gets at most 10% of Anime from Japan so much great stuff yet to be seen here.
